"Are you all new to the wizard thing right? I thought it was pretty cool that they're real when i got my letter. According to Hogwarts a History Wizards have been delivering mail by owl for a really long time, isn't that neat!". Once again Anna-Jayne had to hold herself from giggles toward Brynn's fast moving words. She looked around the compartment as the others spoke.
"No, I'm pure-blood. My family has been in Slytherin for many generations. My name is Isaak Boyers and I'll be heading to Slytherin, just like the rest of my family" The boy, Issak, had replied. To Anna-Jayne the way he strung his words made him sound slightly arrogant and snobbish, however, she was always skeptical about people who talked about their families as if they were so high up. From what she read and heard from her grandmother most Slytherins didn't seem to be the best of people but that was so long ago. Some of the best wizards came from Slytherin but so many great wizards came from so many places.
Anna-Jayne was glad that she wasn't the only one who lacked knowledge of magic and sighed, petting her cat yet again as the others changed the subject.
"Do you know a lot about magic already? I've read a few things, but I'm kinda scared about using it, really." Lavender said before proceeding to stare out of the window.
"I've never had an experience with magic..." Anna-Jayne admits with no sheepishness present in her voice at all. "And yes," she says turning to Issak in particular, "My parents are hu... I mean muggles. My grandmother is the only witch or wizard alive in my family to my knowledge but that doesn't make me lesser than anyone despite their history." she points out. She didn't know if Issak even felt that muggleborns were lesser but whether he did or not Anna-Jayne did not want to be looked down on because of her past.

"Hello, I hope you don't mind me sitting in here" came a masculine voice from the door of the compartment. Anna-Jayne turns to the voice to see a black-haired boy holding a ferret in his hands. @Weird Tales
"Sure, that's fine by me..." she says looking at the other girls before gesturing to the other seat, running her hands down her cat yet again. Felix was generally a well behaved cat but he was to lazy to care he was sitting in a small area with a ferret and a bird. Once again she watches the newcomer get in their seat, offering him a gentle smile. "I'm Anna-Jayne," she says. "And you?" she then asks, slowly lifting her cat off her shorts as its claws were digging through her shorts to her legs then slowly places him back onto her lap. The short haired girl then introduced herself. (@Classpet)
"I'm Brynn by the way, and this is Gregory my frog. I like your cat. Can I call you Anna, or do you prefer Jayne?". Anna-Jayne held back a small amount of giggles, she found Brynn's stumbling slightly amusing. She looked down at Brynn's frog, Gregory, and smiled, looking back up at Brynn.
"Thanks," she smiles petting her cat, "This is Felix and yeah, you can call me Anna,"
