A reminder you dont need to know every detail of every bad thing. Being informed is good but being consumed achieves nothing good. You're still a good person if you have boundries with bad news

I have exit exam simulations among more exams and I'm working the next two nights (and I worked last night) (love that halfway point of grade 12 :/) so I might be a bit to drained to finish a character until Friday/Saturday my time but I'll try to finish them earlier :)

Seriously? She'd just run and now she has to run again? Ruby groaned, looking up at the clock. The seconds ticked. She was sure this was meant to be an office job! Ruby wasn't much or a sports person. Definitely not a runner. And she was in a skirt for crying out loud! She made a mental note to stick to pants from now on. That was when the particularly geeky looking guy, Declan? Denny? Something along those lines. With all the names flying around the room Ruby knew it's take a little more than a brief introduction of everyone at once to remember all their names. At any rate, what's-his-face mentioned not being able to sing Kumbaya. Now that was something Ruby could do.
Rubyjogged over to the stairs as another what's-his-face introduced himself. "The name's Ruby and I can sing Kumbaya but as you'll be hearing a lot of my voice in days to come I'll let you off easy. Ruby jogs up closer to what's-his-face the first and what's-his-face the second. "By the way," she adds, feeling utterly blessed for her tiny frame and using it the slip past both the what-his-faces before continuing, "I've been working since I was a tot." she turns to those behind her, particularly toward the guy who's dad who's 'hotshot' dad owned a restaurant. "My parents are farmers," Ruby finishes, giving the man a flirtatious wink of triumph

@KimmiNinja All my 11s were changed to 9s XD I think as it was 11:30-12ish when I wrote the majority of it my brain thought it logicalXD
