Personality:

Moxie is one of the more 'normal' figures in Wonderland, if one can possibly call any residents of Wonderland normal. She's a rather sleepy shrew for the most part, and tends to stick to her Hotel- The Full Suite, where she has lived for... Well, as long as anyone can really remember to be honest. She's an individual who finds it easy to build a rapport with people, a useful skill considering her profession, but there's a side to her that few know, or have even seen.

She's a capable warrior when she wishes to be, which is not very often at all to be honest, however for the most part, is quite content in just serving the patrons, (mostly Alices,) that turn up at her door.

History:

Moxie is... Well, like some other residents of Wonderland, she's been around for an awfully long time. For the most part, she dodges questions about her past, but is willing to admit that she used to have sisters, and did know her mother. What exactly happened to them is unclear however.

She has an irrational fear of Chess, although most of the other wonderlands hold for her a certain respect, due in no part thanks to her contributions during the various wars in Wonderland. In fact, she still keeps a few mementos.

Underneath her bed, in a heavy wooden box that seems awfully plain, if awfully ornate, and lined with velvet whirling with different colours, lies a rapier and a pistol. The rapier is long, thin, and wickedly sharp, and the pistol, despite looking a few hundred years out of date, is equally well kept. She has used these weapons before, and anybody that has known her for a significant time has seen her, screaming out a cry and cutting her way through quite a few good men and women.

This is what has given her a reputation of some respect amongst any long-term resident of Wonderland, and because of this people are perfectly happy to let her stay out of the latest political clash or struggle.

Job:

She runs the Full Suite hotel, where almost every Alice has stayed at for a little while before they've found their feet within Wonderland. She also offers jobs to anyone for anyone who wants to work there, and although they aren't particularly prestigious, anyone within the Full Suite can pretty much be guaranteed immunity from anyone trying to kill or kidnap them. Unless said murderer or kidnapper wants a duelling pistol pressed against their head.

Crush:

The Hatter. Woe betide anyone that gets between her and the tea-drinker, and she will drop pretty much anything to go to one of his tea parties. She's infatuated.

Other:

Working at the Hotel is possibly one of the easiest jobs in the world, perhaps because Moxie is too lazy to correct someone's mistakes.

Personality:

Joanna is generally a rather closed book. She's found gushing about her life gets her odd stares and makes it harder to get close to a person so she often says little about most of her life- to most people. She's waiting for the right person whether friend or lover, to come along for her to let it all go. Although rather private about her own life she is rather observant and loves to learn as much abut a person as possible. Not in a creepy way, she just finds people... interesting. In this she can pry an uncomfortable amount in conversations and once she's on the mindset she doesn't notice indirect attempts to stop her.

Jo is rather short tempered, however, her anger usually isn't shown in outbursts but in silence and giving begrudging one word or short answers when she must talk to you. She is reactive other than proactive and, to an extend, over reactive. For example, in a situation gone wrong some, if not most, will wander how to make the situation better next time, as for Jo, she tries to avoid the situation completely, not always successfully.

Jo isn't the cheeriest of people in most situations, however, she's not a complete downer either. She'll point out things that could go wrong or possible negative outcomes in a heartbeat, however, she will still celebrate victories and achievements. She takes her time to go into a situation and tends to go with her head than her heart, she used to listen to her heart but that ruined her so, in Jo's true style, she stopped. Jo does love her friends but she doesn't express it as boldly or affectionately as others do.

History:

Jo grew up in a strict household. Her parents weren't particularly religious nor military-influence just strict. Joanna was their only child. Although her parents were strict the family of three were somewhat tightknit. Growing up with strict rules her life they never seemed threatening or to be crushing her. She generally did the right thing and, although she wasn't top of the class, she got decent grades. Her life was, honestly, rather humdrum at this stage. That was when she met him.

Johnathon Daisley seemed perfect. Jo's parents were not keen on her dating but Joanna was so sure he was perfect for her. Posing as just a friend he pair would go out in a group, her parents not letting her go or taking her to their meeting until they saw a group of them. In the company and kind covers of her friends the pair dated in secret from Joanna's parents. This went on for almost 9 months until one night went a little too far. Joanna was 'certain' Johnathon was her future, what would it matter how far they went? Well, that's what she thought. She never really thought much would come from it, until their one 'special' night resulted in Joanna becoming pregnant a couple of months before her 17th birthday.

She was able to hide it successfully for all of a month. Pregnancy is not very easy to hide, particularly with your parents so closely tracking your actions. When Joanna's parents found out they kicked her out and disowned her. Joanna quickly turned to Johnathon who refused to look after her and dropped contact with her instantly. Luckily one of her friends' parents, who were also teen parents, took pity on he and took her in. Joanna found a couple to adopt her unborn child and, at her daughter's birth, was swift to hand her over. Not that it wasn't hard, she couldn't help but fall in love with the tiny person that ruined her but she could barely care for herself, let alone a child.

Feeling she had overstayed her welcome at her friends' house she quickly found a job in a local fast food joint. True, the pay was crummy and the job itself unenjoyable, but she was earning enough to rent a small run down apartment on the edge of town. Although the beginnings were dodgy Joanna was somewhat gaining some control on her life but there was sill a lot of pieces to pick up. Jo's next plan of action was to go after a degree, yet she was unsure in what in yet. As she thought to herself the mirror caught her eye for a reason unknown to her then. She went up to inspect it and fell into its portal and tat brings her to this moment.

None yet but is happy to take one.
