Then you have Mierno, who's been alive practically since the dawn of existence. the man litterally saw some of the first signs of intelligent life other than himself and his race. Its not uncommon for people in the tier four/five/nobility range to being ancient, godlike beings.

I question everything when it comes to tier fours and fives. I trust Tier five as much as I trust the Nobility. Anyone with power has the capability of being good or evil. What matters is what you do with it.

... I still feel at fault for not acting soon enough. I wish I wouldve just kept him from entering. Also, how the heck is he able to lock himself exactly into one time and place? I had him on the rooes before that point. I wouldve just rewound time to just before he arrived and prevented his approach.... but that wasnt enough. It wasl ike he had a rope attatched to a stake in the first time and reality, then he just followed the rope, rather like a bungee cord, back to where we were before. I felt near powerless against him.
