I've never really seen a use for it since by the time people consider themselves here for the long-run, they've already figured it out, and until then, focusing more on the people IC can be a benefit. But by all means, if you think it's a better idea to make one, I'm open to the idea.

Ok that has clarified quite a bit, I guess when you said this was free form, it really is free form
I guess i'll start writing up a character, or figuring out who i'm going to write about, I guess that'll really be the hardest part.

Is there anything I need to know before writing a CS and letting the admins judge it?

Sure. Since this being is going to be interdimensional, they are likely to be strong (since it's hard to survive outside of dimensions without strength—it's a dangerous place). Planet-busters are pretty typical, though there are definitely situations where those with very little power (comparatively speaking) manage it. They're generally on teams with others, or they may stay within certain universes by choice. There's practically an infinite quantity of ways they may run into people from our group (even though they technically don't have to—I recommend it since they'll be your only one until you decide to make another, but if you want to go down that route, you can coordinate things like preexisting histories, friendships, etc. over PM). A second thing is that we all have multiple accounts, but the person behind the mask generally doesn't really matter all that much. Finally, abilities follow this trend: they're usually related by some commonality and the more one has, the less proportional strength each ability contains. Some beings only have one and are the best of the best at what they do, whereas others are jacks of all trades.

Ok, by the third question I meant what are the most recent events so I have a slight clue about what is happening, unless it'd be better to go in blind. I made sure to read the 0th post, and it definitely described the whole thing well, the posting style is interesting, reminds me of a few years ago when I used to RP on different sites, gives me a bit of nostalgia, but at least i'm used to it.
Also since we aren't using the character's tab, how to we keep track of characters and where do we post characters or at least know who they are.

Sure; there are a couple different paths going on at the same time (you can generally pick those up based on who is talking to whom; it isn't generally a problem for anyone once they get going—when in doubt, feel free to ask). Right now, one group is tracking down a mercenary and is discussing potential leads and strategies over dinner, another is in a post-apocalyptic universe where two interdimensional beings are having a conversation with a girl from that universe about what caused the catastrophe, and another group is going to a gathering with friends. Because there are a lot of individuals, it's not too difficult to get into one of these lines of communication. There typically aren't more than three and whenever big events are taking place, it's generally compressed to one. The advantage of this style is that regardless of who is on at the time, they can be in communication with other people who are online. Learning who everyone is isn't incredibly difficult; they all have unique features and there are some who are more regular than others.

Since those of us here are pretty familiar with each other, we trust each other to know what is and is not considered reasonable. We technically do have a wiki (that we're still in the process of building/maintaining) that has a list of many people involved, but we primarily just remember our own and each others'. If you don't personally know who someone is, the person in the IC probably doesn't know either, so you can both get the information at the same time. Like before, if anything needs to be clarified, never be afraid to reach out. We typically have newcomers post writeups on new beings they'll introduce in the OOC so we can do a quick verification and make changes as needed. After a while, bringing in new people without warning is totally fine.

After reading lore, among other things in this, this Rp seems like a very intersting one, and I might consider joining soon, but a few things are still confusing me.
1. Why are some characters not listed in the character tab?
2. About how active is the group right now?
3. What's the current story?
4.(May be solved with further reading) Is there a CS?
More questions may come up as I think as well as these questions are answered.

1. We have way too many and don't really use the tab.
2. Fairly so, but we intend to get more active. Our semesters are ending, which is making things more busy IRL.
3. It's a sandbox, so there's no directed story. I don't think I can easily summarize five years of experiences, but I can highlight things if you want; it depends on what you're looking for. Consider it a window into reality beyond our own dimension, the collection of universes that few beings have the privilege of experiencing in its full glory. The bright side of this is that there isn't five years worth of content anyone has to read to jump in.
4. Nope. This is very unstructured (and intentionally so!), meaning that anyone can give us a quick rundown of who they intend to show off and we can give them some guidance for the first few and then we'll let them decide for themselves. It's not a system everyone on this website likes, but it's what we enjoy and has worked for years. Be sure to read the 0th post and be familiar with our posting style if you're interested; we do things uniquely here, but we have a strong bond because of it.
