If you make the mistake to judge a man by his race you go through life with egg on your face.

Ryan "Sharkman" Jacobs

Ryan had surfaced in one of the submerged levels of the prison, dripping wet and wearing nothing but a pair of black trunks and a metal mask. Behind him, he'd been dragging a large plastic garbage bag. He'd elected to swim there, towing his things behind him, triple-wrapped in black trash bags, and immediately started to familiarize himself with the seemingly abandoned facility. He closed his eyes, and focused on the signals being picked by his ampullae of Lorenzini, that tiny network of electricity-sensitive nodes throughout his body. He was pleased to see that the electricity in the building was online, and from that, he could sense the general layout of the prison.

He'd stopped to find the showers, clean himself up, dry off and change, so he was the last to stroll in, stepping over the remains of the potted plant. Like the others, the redhead was rocking the edgelord lock: He had on a black, high-collared jacket, worn closed. A black bandana covered his face, with a shark-jaw print. And on his back was his massive pair of clippers. Paying no mind to Jack's display with the chainsaw and unworried by Sana's pyromania, he casually pulled up a seat, at the same time grabbing his file.

"At least I know you're not gonna be scared away by the murders." He said, his voice distorted by the metal mask he wore under the bandana. Though they couldn't see his face, his dark eyes were squinting slightly in a smile. "Everyone else here has a rap sheet, right?" He asked the others in the room, leafing through the file like one would go through a family photo album.

@Spike
I think your new idea is better now. He's ok with me. Just remember that swimming with pockets full of metal isn't likely the best of ideas if he ever tries to go in the water wearing that costume.

Ah, thank you. Yeah the jacket gets in the way of his gills anyways.

@Spike

Scissors are fine by me as long as you remember he'll be in water thanks to his Quirk. Wait for @SimpleWriter's verdict.

Mmm that's part of why I like having them able to split. Mmm the big form is probably too heavy but I think he could bring one of the halves with him if he really needed too. Mmm dunno how much swimming he'll do, I've been told Bay Area water is kinda gross but that's mostly hearsay.

@Spike Accepted, too. Watch the rust. :3

Mmm you're the best~ Mmm I'll write a starter.

@Spike I'll say the same thing as Windel about efforts. x) Quality over Quantity, as I said in the first OOC post, so I don't look at size much. Anyway, moving on.

Super Strength was a problem for me, but you seem to have edited it and now it's minor. So it's okay.

As for the weapon, I personally don't need to know where it came from or how he got it to eventually accept it, but it's true that it seems a bit random with he general theme. If he have a love-hate relationship with his Shark theme, you might want to write that down somewhere on his sheet. P.S; For a Shark, I would have imagined a Hammer as Weapon. Or a Saw. Or a Chainsaw. Because Hammerheads and Sawsharks. i know you wanted the Scissor theme, and I don't mind that you keep it if you can find a way to make the Scissors more relevant to the character.

Ahh so can I keep it? A chainsaw weapon might be cool but it's really loud and honestly the scissors seem really rad.
@Spike

Quirk-wise, he's fine. Super strength for a shark is iffy but seeing as you don't go in-depth with it, I suppose it's fine. As for his weapon, I'm willing to accept it if you can explain to me what it has to do with his shark theme. Finally, the sample post is fine enough. I know the quality of writing you can and have produced so I'll only say this now; put as much effort as you can when concerning IC posts.

Ah thank you. Mmm the strength is mostly a growth option. For now he's capable of more than the average person but he's not going to the Olympics or anything. My thinking is most of his training is martial arts stuff. If he started body building with like protein and weights he could eventually get to a notch or two above what is normally possible for humans, but it would take at least a year or two.

Mmm does as for the weapon need to have something to do with his shark thing? Ryan probably isn't the type to go around biting people most of the time so I figured he'd need a weapon. I don't think that Ryan is really the type to adhere to a theme, he's got a love-hate relationship with his sharky side. He needed a weapon and he started looking for them online and saw this Etsy store with a lot of crazy weapons and that's what he spent his tax return on. OOC I just really like the imagery of a dude with a giant pair of scissors that he can kinda transform. Mmm if it's really necessary I dunno maybe I could give him a chainsaw or make the blades serrated or something? That has "teeth." Or like I dunno he could maybe paint some sharks on it?
@Spike

Before you finish your CS be aware that that Quirk isn't a quirk at all. People can't simply create objects out of thin air, even Momo whose sole ability was creating stuff had to "pay" something (body fat) for her creations.

Furthermore, a quirk should have one function and one function only. Whether or not you can use it for other (related) gimmicks, depends on each character's ability. I can accept he dividing his weapons (after an explanation on how he creates them in the first place), but not the power nullification part. It makes so sense at all that a creation quirk would be able to do that.

Fair enough. Mm I'll make it so that he can like unfold them from maybe his arm then. I can ditch the nullification too, sure.
