God, the Montgomery family is weird. I'm so glad I'm playing a character who neither cares or is too lazy to XD

Wanna sort some relations out between the four of us?

When you have five kids, things are bound to get weird.

Good idea, but I'll probably hold off until pending characters have been approved.
Here is my CS. I made a last minute change with the powers since I feel the Montgomery family has too many 'squishies' and opted for an ability with a high defensive potential: terrakinesis or earth-bending.

@Eviledd1984@Catchphrase@Yvain@Stern Algorithm Hey guys would you want me to move things out of the party? The only reason I am hesitant on that is because it seems like we just started and that I fear people not being able to find reasons to interact afterwards

It might be for the best move things along. Right now I think we might be too bunched up; spreading us out should allow our characters to have focused interactions.
@Stern Algorithm Oh thats a cool idea. There was an X-men named Oya who could do something like that. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oya_(comics)

Also, just kinda curious. If u were gonna stick to the sound based ability, how exactly would it have worked?

Unlike Oya, my character has to heat and cool at the same time, and cannot do one without the other, preserving conservation of energy (though violating the principle of entropy).

It was going to be sound as a science rather than as an art (music). In essence, shattering brittle materials like glass and bone, or causing vertigo, nausea, and internal hemorrhaging. Using soundwaves to generate vibrations. Also voice and sound mimicking and ventriloquism for deception and disorientation. For me, music is too 'magical', I prefer dealing with the physical and scientific properties of sound. Not that I have anything against other characters using music as an ability.
So @SgtEasy and @Stern Algorithm Are both going for a character with sound based powers. This should be interesting! lol

@SgtEasy

If that's the case, I'll probably go for something else. Don't worry, I'm not mad or anything. To be quite honest, I tend to overuse sound manipulating characters, so this is an opportunity to try my hand at something different.

I'll make my character's ability be based on Maxwell's Demon. He can cool things down with one hand and simultaneously heat things up with the other.
"Business is good," Hammond butted in, "This putrid city has an endless supply of...pests." He takes out a handkerchief and neurotically wipes his hands of nonexistent filth. At the mention of Georgie, Hammond visibly flinched. "I'd choose the Farm any day, the man runs a cesspool." He wiped his hands more vigorously, seeing if anyone else wanted to talk about their professions.

Antoinette hauled another crate of beer to the bar. Looking around, she could see that the bar was well stocked, enough to last the rest of the event. She had volunteered to help out at the ball, at least, 'volunteered' in the sense that she had demanded some compensation for her time and effort. Before the ball began, she had been helping with set up, decorating, placing tables and chairs, etc. With her work done until clean up time after the ball was over, Antoinette sat down a bit away from the dance floor. She silently disapproved of the festivities. Many who attended struggled with their daily lives and should be spending their time improving them instead of forgetting their worries. There was also the ever-present threat of the Adversary coming to this world; a ball such as this was indicative of the community's lack of preparedness for such an eventuality. "They're all going to die like that dumb grasshopper," she thought to herself.
Hi, a CS is in the works for me. Not really 'reserving', but just letting people know I'm planning on making the youngest Montgomery son who will have sound powers.
Remember, no vehicles.

This is my altmode:

My transformer's name will be: Haymaker

All joking aside, I might have to forgo my combiner idea and just stick with individual transformers so as not to occupy too much character real estate. So without further ado:

Name: Shockwave
Supposed Gender: Gender is ILLOGICAL (Male)
Faction: Decepticon
Rank: Chief Magitech Officer (formerly Chief Science Officer)
Weaponry: Corrosive Plasma Cannon (On left arm)
Appearance: The wings on his back are bat wings, there is a lion's head on his right shoulder, and the plasma cannon on his left hand is a scorpion's tail.
Altmode:

Altmode Abilities: Shockwave has claws and teeth, is capable of flight, and has a poison stinger that can launch poisoned spines. Shockwave is capable of poison-based magics.
Personality: Shockwave is an emotionless machine who answers only to order and logic. Though he sees emotions as a weakness, he tolerates Megatron's leadership because he understands that Megatron's emotions gives him understanding of the emotions of others, and let's him control them through fear and intimidation. In other words, Shockwave is the only person who would say Megatron has 'empathy'. Megatron's leadership has produced 'results', and that's good enough for Shockwave. Shockwave believes that only the tyranny of the Decepticons can establish absolute order. Perhaps the one emotion Shockwave has is curiosity, giving his already analytical mind the ability to innovate and discover new and often heinous solutions to immediate problems. He is an unethical experimenter, and will not hesitate to modify or 'improve' his fellow Decepticons, against their wishes if necessary.
History: In the split between the Autobots and the Decepticons, Shockwave, very early on, chose to side with the Decepticons and has been a loyal follower of Megatron since, providing their great leader with strategic advice and heading the research department. When it comes to information and infrastructure, you can be sure Shockwave has his hand in it whether it's 'interrogating' Autobots or designing the Nemesis.
Other Information: Purple is the most logical color.
As Salomea peered through the tiny slit of the opening in the manhole cover, she witnesses the familiar devouring a victim and transforming, releasing a powerful gust that startled Salomea and caused her to lose her grip on the rungs, falling down hard into the sewer. She had heard someone issue a warning right before she lost her grip, allowing Salomea to make the landing a little less harsh. She didn't understand what was going on while the space around her began to warp. She thought it was a witch, but after what she had just witnessed she had to assume that it was a familiar that had just become a witch. Some other magical girls had told her a little about familiars, and she had heard Kyubey's voice just now indicating the same. The thought of all those people at the parade being attacked by the witch was sobering, her family was just across the street from this monster. Salomea rushed back up the manhole, pushing the cover off forcefully with magic-enhanced strength, though in the labyrinth, the manhole cover had taken the form a giant, circular eraser.

Looking around she sees two girls further in front: one who looked like a nurse, and another with cannons, who were heading in the direction of the witch. Behind her was a girl with chain-scythes who was injured. Salomea decided to make protecting the injured girl her priority and started summoning several copies of her weapon and ramming them headfirst into the strange ground of the labyrinth, creating a circle between Megumi and the most likely path the witch would take if it tried to attack the injured girl. "S-stay outside of the fence," Salomea ordered without confidence, while she herself stood in the middle of the circle and brandished her club defensively in the direction of the witch and the two girls. She hoped those two would be able to defeat the witch and keep it at bay, but if not, she would stand between it and Megumi. The rods that she had planted in the ground began to emit a low hum.
This is cool, reminds me somewhat of the light novel/manga/anime, Overlord.

I think monster characters would be a great idea, either monster class replaces job class, or all players have a 'default human' appearance with the 'were-ability' to transform into their chosen monster form to either enhance or supplement their chosen job class.
