Current You could go to ask someone for a bucket of hot water and end up calling their mother a flaming bitch instead? I am, unfortunately, speaking from experience.

Haley ★ 26 ★ Taurus ★ EST ★ Casual Level Group Writer

Welcome fellow writer. I go by many names, but you can call me Haley or pretty much anything else. I stick to causal level groups here on the forum. I have a soft spot for thunderstorms, dark humor, strong coffee, animals, pretty words, feminine rage, mythologies, and all things that go 'bump' in the night. I've lived in the same small southern Appalachian town my whole life, and aim to travel one day. I'm open to the occasional random conversation, but please do not message me asking to write one-on-one; it's simply not something I do these days.

@ViolentViolet You could have her intercept Fareeha and Ariel, perhaps?
Serafina 'Ariel' Gray of Norden

Interacting with: Fareeha @OfWindAndRain

Ariel returned Fareeha’s smile. ”Uh, yeah sure thing. I’d like to know you a bit better as well,” she replied before the other woman began to explain about her snake. Partially truth, partially lie. While Fareeha seemed interesting, to say the least, Ariel wasn’t sure how she felt about getting to know other royals before her betrothed, which she had just recently spotted dancing with Isobel. What an interesting sight… Caismir had yet to introduce himself to her, but was instead dancing with her country's major trading partner. How… interesting.

Habi, she thought. Such a pretty name. Then again, you would want a pretty name to go with a pretty animal, such as this one, she supposed. Though Ariel found snakes to be quite frightening, she had to admit there was a certain grace seeing them interact with human beings. How a snake was a symbol of protection, she had no idea. Why wouldn’t they just wear a tiger skin or something around their neck, instead of something that could potentially kill the beholder? Perhaps it was a stupid question, but Ariel could not help but to simply think of it. ”Ah, the Eye of Horus,” she repeated. Again, another beautiful symbol from Fareehas country. Her eyes widened at the mention of the Hyena. Such a wild animal to be tamed.

At the question of petting the snake, Ariel could feel her face go slightly pale. Actually touch the snake? Touch the snake? Like… pet it? Like she had the townsman's dogs? Pet the snake. Ariel quickly swallowed, forcing a small grin on her face as she gently reached out to touch the creature as Fareeha extended her arm towards her. Gently running the tips of her fingers down the creature's back, she slowly relaxed, feeling the scales under her fingers. Maybe.. Just maybe snakes weren’t as bad as she thought. That was until it flicked its tongue, making Ariel's arm quickly come back beside her body. She cleared her throat. ”Thank you, Fareeha, for letting me pet her. Really, you must introduce me to your Hyena sometime. I’ve always seen pictures of them, but, of course, never in person. Tell me, why don’t you have a simple dog,” she asked jokingly. Perhaps the last comment wouldn’t offend the other girl, but at this point, formal words and social anxiety was about to kill Ariel.

@The Spectre Awesome, however, I am on RPG only when at school (I know, it's weird, lot's of explaining) and Discord is blocked.
@SouffleGirl123 and I are working on a collab as well.

Standing five feet, seven inches tall, Cleo weighs one-hundred thirty-two pounds, giving her a slightly curvy, petite figure. Her light golden-brown hair falls down right below her shoulders in light waves. It can sometimes be seen straightened or pulled back into a ponytail. Looking upon the woman's square shaped face, you will find defined cheekbones, dark green eyes, a small, triangular nose and thin lips. Her long legs have a slight undertone of muscle, her arms the same. These features have been said to give her a 'natural beauty' look.

Cleo wears pale colors most of the time. Her favorite tops are a simple t-shirt or sweater, for bottoms, she wears jeans. Make-up is a trivial thing for the woman, only ever wearing mascara and eyeliner. One thing that she never goes anywhere without is her cresent moon necklace that she had had since she was little girl. Growing up on a farm, Cleo has a few scars from her child-hood shenanigans. One is on her right upper arm, from where she fell out of a tree at the age of ten, approximately five inches long, running vertically. Another on the inside of her left ankle, from a broken glass in the barn that she acquired at the age of fifteen.

Resourceful || To Kind || Intelligent || Stubborn || Conversationalist

Cleo is a kind woman, said to have a motherly demeanor. She likes to look after others and believes that she knows best when it comes to most things. However, on occasion, she can be to kind, doing her best to see the best in who she wants, causing her to trust more than she should in certain situations. She is a realist, calling things and people like she see's them. If you look like crap, she'll tell you. If she thinks you're going to be great at something, she'll tell you. Cleo always worked hard in school, graduating with only one C her whole school career. Being more or less a momma bear, one of her weaknesses is the people that she cares about. Hands down, she would die for these people, which brings us to another weakness: being to damned loyal. Cleo is loyal downright loyal to the people she cares about, always trying to do what is best for them. If you call her at two in the morning, she's there. If someone hurts you, she's hurting them. Put her threw hell, she'll be there until she absolutely can't stand you anymore.

The woman is good for conversation, making small talk, though she loves to go more in depth with her conversation. Perhaps this comes from being a bartender, along with her ability to 'read' people. Despite trying to keep her emotions in check, Cleo is an open book, her face never lying about how she feels. She can tell you that she approves of your actions, while her face has a look of disgust. She is very easy to embarrass, almost always blushing on these occasions.Erika is a friendly young woman with a fierce Cleo is outgoing and loves meeting new people, but has no claims about sticking up for herself, the things she believes in, or people that she cares for. Despite being outgoing, it usually takes a little while for her to warm up to people, so she can at times appear shy or disinterested. She's extremely stubborn and has shown tendencies at being recklessly brave at times as well.

Cleo Alexandra James was born in Texas on October twenty-first to a farmer, Keith, and his school teacher of a wife, Marian. She was the second child born to the couple, her brother Lane being her elder by five years. Cleo grew up as a bare-foot child, running through the fields, learning the way things worked on the farm and doing little chores like feeding the chickens and watering the horses. It wasn’t until around age eight that she started getting the bigger jobs such as helping her father plant the crops and harvest them. Celo’s family has always been close. Some of the woman's best memories is going to her family members house’s for Sunday dinner. The children would run around playing in the yard, the women cooking and gossiping, then men playing horse-shoes.

Cleo was always a tom-boy of sorts. She would rather be barefoot than anything, she loved to roll around in the mud, but her mother insisted on her having lady-like attributes. Cleo and her brother were expected to wake up in the early hours of the morning, milk the cows, muck the stalls, etc. for their chores. Afterwards, Cleo would sit at the dining table, her mother telling her to keep her elbows off the table, allowing her to fix her hair a certain way, and telling her to wear skirts and dresses. This mainly started at the age of seven, lasting until the age of fifteen when Cleo put her foot down. No more would she be told how to act properly. Keith’s main influence on the girl was telling her and her brother: “Work hard and you won’t have to spend your days’ in the fields’ like old pop.” However, Cleo didn’t mind getting her hands dirty and the chores. After all, it was something she believed in. Father’s work brought in money, just like mother’s teaching. Sure, it was hard, but her father was a good man, and everyone in town could testify to the fact. Perhaps always wanting the best for his children was why “Work hard” was his most used phrase.

Cleo graduated as second in her class high-school class, going to the local college. Her parents were mad at her for this. With her grades, they said, she could get into just about any college that she wanted. But Cleo didn’t want that. She found comfort in more simple things, and always planned on staying home. Finally giving into her parents wishes, she decided to move to Baltham at the age of twenty-six. Here, she quickly made her a new home. Temporarily working as a waitress in a local cafe, she met Brad, a man that she fell in love with over simple conversation through the course of three months when he came in for his usual breakfast every morning. It was at the end of those three months that Brad asked Cleo on a date, and she gladly accepted. The two married a year later, and it was at this time, Cleo moved in with the man, right beside the Warings. It was at the age of twenty-nine that she lost her husband in a fatal car crash. Through the grief, Cleo lost her job. Three months later, she was hired as the local bartender downtown.

Walking outside to get the morning paper was the first time that Cleo can recall actually speaking to Emily Waring, a little girl who she treated as her own, unable to have any with Brad. The child seemed to have no actual authority figures in her life, so, Cleo acted as one for her. When Emily who she insists upon calling Em, was old enough to put down an emergency contact for herself, it was Cleo, and she was the one that got called when Cleo got arrested for the first time. Giving the girl scoldings when she came in drunk over the years seemed to do no good, but deep down, Cleo could tell that she was doing some good.
