*groans*
Alright!
*dematerializes the book in my hand and my body begins to shift and change form*
BattleMode!

*Sprawling, translucent-blue windows of text open in front of you, installing the changes with a small number of errors and ending with the string of text "Navi Change Detected: Beast Type → Machine Type"*
I won't be able to distract this thing for long! How's it going over there??
*The first mutant, a pink obloid rabbit-like creature bounces to face you, lightning rods towering over its head and cracking with electricity—its mouth sports a set of razor-sharp teeth constantly spinning like drills*
<Snipped quote by System>

*catches it and looks it over*
You didn’t answer my question! Can I mod in terms and calls?

Yes, you can mod in whatever you want! But you need to be careful to make the right API calls to the net framework for them to materialize properly. Those are on page 742!
<Snipped quote by System>

Compatible library? Is Zeed in that library or can I insert my own calls?

I have no idea what Zeed is.
*A book spawns in my hand, and I toss it to you*
Here’s the documentation. Good luck!
<Snipped quote by System>

Break?
*looks at my hand*
Well it’s a shot I gotta try!
*gets into a stance*
You might want to brace your self if this works. The blast back will be heavy.

*Grips the staff tightly, now planted firm in the ground*
If you’re going to reprogram anything, make sure you use compatible library calls and initialize everything you need before calling it. Those are the two biggest mistakes I see!
<Snipped quote by System>

I can try to do my usual way, but is there different ways to use moves here?

Usually we use battlechips. Materialize the data, and—
*A thin blue staff generates in my hand*
It gets loaded into the cyber world.
*Slams the staff into the ground, and the sky opens up, unleashing a meteor shower onto the virus*
Just watch the compatibility, because some things will break!
<Snipped quote by System>

Its a big blaster, and I might need to evolve too if things get hairy.
*looks up, grinning*
It’s been awhile since I actually have been in a battle.

I haven’t fought any kind of a boss in... a long time. Take them out one at a time, together?
<Snipped quote by System>

I might have something. But I don’t know how I usually summon it would work here.

What is it?
<Snipped quote by System>

Thank you
*the designs minimize to a small box that floats in front of me for a few seconds then disappears, my body then erupts and my flame claws become more intense and my tail increases in size*
We need to act now though.

*Looks up at the multi-story height of the viruses*
Do you have anything that can hit something like this hard enough?
<Snipped quote by System>

Yes, I am.
*looks around*
We got to save these people as soon as possible.

They’re going to end up destroying the network infrastructure of the city.
*Pulls the designs up on a HUD and drags them to you*
Here, in case you notice anything.
<Snipped quote by System>

Well, we can figure that out once we destroy those viruses.

*Steps onto the circle and is immediately whisked into an alley of an otherwise bustling cybernetic city, full of evacuating residents as the infrastructure collapses*
Viruses are you’re specialty, right?
