No, i mean- ugh. Fine. I'll you everything. This all started back with Kirina. One of her methods of torturing me when she kidnapped me was placing me in a twisted hellscape of a dimension she created herself. It would warp and controt any form of matter in horrendous ways. I barely survived each time. However, because of that, my essence was tied to that dimension permanently. Years later, the amaranthien arrive, and I noticed that after kirina died at some point, that dimension she created had changed, and dissapeared shortly after. During a direct conflict iwth the amaranthine, I found out that only weapons infused with my energy did anything to the amaranthine. Basic weapons did nothing but piss them off. Even unconventional weapons didnt hold them off for long. So.... the superweapons I'm creating are infused iwth my essence. They will be wielded by a select few, Including Echo and Delta under my supervision, in a last ditch effort to eliminate the amaranthine once and for all.
All of this sounds crazy. And crazy isn't going to shut down the project.

Putting everything in your hands when we can hedge our bets would be stupid. It's throwing away extra chances.
