*Dashes along the curved wall until we enter the chamber, at which point I leap forward, and up above the doorframe in two swift motions, out of your sight for just a moment*

*The circuitry inches forward, tapping against the bands used to detect the opponents, then stretching itself into barely-visible fibers before grasping toward the other side of the chamber, now very similar to a spider’s web*
<Snipped quote by System>

*Takes off, dashing alongside the circuitry and moving alongside it while stepping surprisingly silently*

*Triggers a spell to hover a hair’s breadth above the ground and follows silently behind you, while the webbing juts ahead*

I’m ready to do anything, now. Already used up my “get caught off guard” ticket the moment we got here.

*Slams my hand against the catacomb walls, resulting in the circuitry spidering from the point of contact, taking sharp right angles with the rare 45 degree turn, heading toward the combatant chamber*

I can think of a lot of possible answers. But who knows without actually seeing the whole picture. Maybe he has capabilities outside the elements. Or maybe Garsun is just cruel, and he’s not really keeping up at all.

Are you prepared to make some noise, in that case?
<Snipped quote by System>

I probably could. Even though he’s not a main concern right this moment, Garsun is the one I fear. A couple of illegitimate users can’t have had knowledge on how to use them for long- they have no experience, no breadth and no versatility.

How has this one kept up for so long?
<Snipped quote by System>

Well, we also ought to make a decision fast. If any of those forces outside come in here behind us, it’ll be hard to be quiet after that.

Are you confident enough that you can survive and escape?, even if all three of them come after you?
<Snipped quote by System>

Within the confines of the elements.

A surprise attack will only work once. We should make that option impactful should we choose to leverage it.
<Snipped quote by System>

If someone hypothetically knew everything? No. But there’s really no one who does, and you can find holes based on what people do and don’t know how to do.

Within the hidden elements, or in general?
<Snipped quote by System>

If they’re not allied.

Do the hidden elements have any notable weaknesses? Flaws in defenses or the ability to surprise them?
<Snipped quote by System>

And I don’t want to forget. There is a third person here. If they’re not in that room, they’re further in.

Which could pinch whoever advances ahead between two sets of adversaries.
