Lolz didn't notice you posted before me, Masaki. Changing up my post for a proper response.
Possibly a team-up. I had a general idea. Nothing too solid though that's something we can all come up with if we accept the idea. We could be the Defenders.Does anyone want to sorta create a superhero group in game? While everyone has their own thing, this could give us more interactions between our characters which these sorts of games usually lack. I prefer the interaction over solo rping. What do you have in mind?
Man Li Chak Nor Liem Ni Sun Chan Jak Yi Jat Li @Shar, yes. Free roam means do whatever you want D:I'll semi play grandpa when needed.
Well shit. Only way Sairis can win a fight against him is by Speedblitzing or outpowering his shield. Hopefully it doesn't come to that. Lolz.Because of his intricate knowledge of the Accelerator's skills, Amata can bypass Accelerator's Redirection. Amata can hit Accelerator by pulling back his attack right before it is redirected by Accelerator's AIM field, because it simply changes the direction of the vector towards its opposite, as such anything that is coming towards Accelerator will be redirected back in the opposite direction. With this method, Amata can use his "Counter" to retract his fist the moment before it makes contact with Accelerator's AIM field, so the Redirection instead pulls it towards Accelerator. ^ This is what I meant. Basically the shield redirects vectors the opposite direction. So basically if you pull back when the Vector attempts to redirect then it will pull your fist towards the user of the Vector Field instead of push away. That flaw doesn't exist in Nathanial's shield, because instead of reversing the direction of the object, Nathanial's shield stops them in place. It would be kinda awkward if someone tossed something at him for him to catch, and he accidentally threw it back at their face. This of course means that you could throw a spell grenade at him and it would stick to him, but it would have to be a spell that effects his mind and not just an explosion.
If we're talking about me here, let me clarify my power. First, it's Pros. Nathan can manipulate the direction and velocity of any object within his range. Objects within a foot of him are within that range, and the effects last even when he leaves until he releases them. When not paying attention, Nathan's bubble automatically stops physical objects traveling over a certain speed from reaching him, similar to Accelerator's passive shield. Cons: Nathan needs to be in attack distance to use his power on someone, no matter who he's fighting. His magic has the shortest range of almost any. Nathan's power is ENTIRELY ineffectual against magic that effects the target directly, and magic that doesn't have a physical presence (Such as magic that uses sound or light to attack. Concentrated lasers and fire are still effected.) Nathan's magic doesn't arbitrarily effect everything, it works by applying force. The force Nathan applies at his current level is considerable, but not infinite. If something large (Such as a demon like Deliora) tries to hit Nathan, he can't just stand there and take the hit.Assume it still has the weakness of any attack being pulled right before touching Nathan, would then be pulled back in? Basically the redirection working against him. Similar to what happened to Accelerator. Also does any object ,say faster then Nathan's perception, able to bypass the shield? I've actually never dabbled into Vectors cause I know I wouldn't be able to contain myself so, it's neat discussing how people nerf and buff their control with such powers. Also....posting is a bit...slow. Still in a lot of pain so...yeah. Working on it.
Not really. Vector Manipulation doesn't have a real counter and he does have a shield. Xander doesn't begin to compare (no offense whatsoever) to that. If anyone has seen Majutsu no Index aka A certain Magical Index or read it then you'll see why. Xander's counters mostly allow him to use what the other person is using but it doesn't account for skill and other benefits. Example1: He has no counter to Red Hawk's claws and fortification magic which is caster or if he did, he'd still need to be able to match Red Hawk's speed, strength, and martial arts. Example2: Countering a dragonslayer's element with his own element wouldn't do much. They are pretty much immune to their own element unless it's another slayer (Devil or God) and they'd just eat it. I'm not nagging or anything. Just my observation. He could become OP though. I see many ways in which he could along with Nathan. Dudes could go crazy powerful later on. Fun conversations are Fun.Both of them are OP in comparison to the other characters, with more balanced things and magic. In this case, Xander is so OP that he could take on Nathan without much problem. He's a mageslayer, after all, maybe there's also a way to counter him. 'Sides, Nathan ain't got a barrier that doesn't allow him to be touched (I think). But yeah, please refrain (Everyone) from getting irrational boosts of power, or you'll get a roundhouse kick to the face.I think I'm the only one who doesn't see Xander as OP whatsoever. Do you know who is actually OP lowkey....Nathan. Vector Manipulation is ungodly powerful even when not used to it's full potential .-_- is that supposed to be me? Also Nero could probly be counted as a wizerd saint, the old master who's magic along with several other's were infused into the rings was, but he would feel vaulnerable and think that they would comment on how young he is, and looks.I think that your pushing it with that Xander. Remember, your character is under observation to make sure he doesn't become to OP. I would recommend not adding something like that to it, just leave it the way it is, but that just my opinion.
I'm still not sure how I should respond :p. Oh and he really can't do much to the vector dude except sneak past his vector shield with shadow travel. and once the guy gets wind of it, Nero has got nothing on him.His Shield appears to be automatic. So it would push you back regardless. Though I know the weakness to it and I'm sure my character would understand since they've been in the same guild for years. Diffuclt though. Nathan is the one character i'm most of afraid of honestly. Which makes this ALL the more fun.

Well...in that case, Technically its Steve as Iron Man so it inhibits anyone being Iron Man. Though so many variables with that one that anyone could still technically be Iron Man. But we get what you are saying, Pete. lolz.Oh this looks awesome, how liberal can we be with the changes to our characters? As liberal as you wish. While I would lean away from doing changes that would inhibit other player's potential major characters (like having Captain America being Iron Man - this prevents someone from doing a Steve Rogers Captain America), you can change backstories, etc as much as you want.
