Bio

I have been writing as a hobby for longer than you have been alive. I have been a regular member and roleplayer of no less than fourteen different online forums during that time (including the old RPG), five six eight of which no longer exist.

I was previously a regular on the Homestuck forums, but I became so sick of thread turnover there that I asked around and eventually found the Guild. Since joining, I have exclusively only participated in Advanced RPs. Before Mahz gave NRPs their own subforum, I used to be an NRP regular in the Advanced Subforum. I am a Guildfall survivor, and know/regularly write with a few others.

If you ask anybody who has written with me in previous RPs, they should tell you that I have a generally open schedule, I post regularly and in a timely fashion, and I never drop an RP once I join unless the thread dies. Some of them may tell you that I have extensive expertise within the realms of Biology, Psychology, and Physics, which I will make no effort to validate since there is no way I can provide hard proof of aforementioned alleged expertise to anybody over the internet (though I am happy to try and answer any questions you send my way).

My favorite fandom is the Myst franchise, which seemingly nobody other than me has ever heard of.

I was a Contest Moderator for the Writing Contests Subforum for just a little bit over two years. I wrote the Moderation Policy for that subforum and I ran a contest called the Twelve Labours; you can still go there and see all of them and the entries people wrote for them in the Contests Section and the Victory Archives.

I have been quadruple secret banned from the guild discord. That is not a joke.

I'll be working with Aristo and Crispy Octopus tonight on history as well as our joint church. If anyone else wants in on the Serene Church and the bishop council that governs it. Lemme know.

You may want to elaborate on the nature of the Serene church so that people can decide whether they want in on it or not.
Here is my rough WIP sheet as well.

Mine is nearing completion and may or may not be up later today.
Here is a detailed interior map for my nation.

Thanks again to @Crispy Octopus for their inspiration.

EDIT: Map altered to include major roads.
Incidentally,

@Darkspleen@Monkeypants

We have been informed that posters are encouraged to engage/interact with the Einherjar plot arc, and we know they are (for the most part, nobody is safe etcetera) going to be coming from the East. Except, before anybody even has a chance to lay a claim, there's this massive beef barrier between everyone and the East. What's the deal? Are they a sacrificial lamb? Are they going to be the Misanthrope Turncoats who ally with the Einherjar and attack everyone else? I ask because I want to pursue that plotline and am starting to think I shot myself in the foot by making myself land-locked.

You guys may want to consider what your country's views on the Prophetess is. Whereas Monkeypants and my own country believe she was divine in nature Goldeagle is spearheading a church that definitely does not share that belief. If you are interested in more info you should hit him up for the details.

@Goldeagle1221

The disparate kingdoms that were conquered to form the rising Empire had different views. The new order, such as it is, possesses evidence to suggest the Prophetess' powers were genuine. However, due in part to the region's historical familiarity with Primordial Lineage, they reject claims that she was Divine.

As far as the new order is concerned, the Prophetess was a mortal woman with prophetic powers, and nothing more.

Beautiful job with minimal detail. It has inspired me to try something similar with my own map.
Do we have anything approaching a NS template yet? Would I be able to yank the former version from the last RP and use it?
My land is going to be a (relatively) recent occurrence. Previously two or more smaller kingdoms that got gobbled up by a skilled Warlord. There are a few mountain chains along the Northeast portion of my claim (defined by the strange tapering hang-off) where the Warlord's campaign began and where they erupted from when conquering the territories immediately adjacent to the mouth of the vale.

Since then, the burgeoning martial regime has been consolidating its power, reordering what were previously disparate lands. Slavery, previously limited largely to feudal serfdom and indentured servitude, has returned full force and there is a prominent martial caste system in effect.

Historians will note that the entire regime is held together solely be the competence and sheer force of will of a small number of individuals, and that if and once they should pass on, the whole order will likely fragment. For the moment however, they are wolves sharpening their blades at the door. The rumor mill states they are interested in grabbing territory to the South and West in order to gain access to the sea.

Here's looking at you @Aristo.
Here is my potential claim (in orange).
