I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

~ Chapter 60 ~

Pregame

Jenso had been told briefly by a few passerby that the finals would not occur until later in the day. Something about tradition, and the moon. Until then, he had to wait. He knew nothing about Rajaka, but it was safe to assume that the fight coming up was going to be difficult. Something about the entire tournament reeked of suspicion, though. The healing tent was shut off, Ross and Mikey were no where to be found, nor were any of the other fighters, and nobody seemed to be asking questions. Besides that, what the hell was the prize for the tournament? Nobody said anything about that, either.
Zelriane narrowed his eyes and turned away from Jenso. The deep green glow was revealing of many things, including Jenso's most sensitive physical reactions to what he said. Although Zelriane couldn't read Jenso's mind, he was satisfied with the extent of his own words. The short man walked off, heading towards where Rajaka had gone.

"Mortals"

~ End Of Chapter 59~
"My high ground is not based on morals. It is based on reasoning, that which you so callously disregard for a weakness, one which you desperately hope to be a strength. We are not better than you, no. We are simply stronger, more powerful, and hold weight, which you do not. Your words are hollow- No, flooded with an ignorant farce of heroics and stupidity," Zelriane stated without restraint in his tone. "You were weak. That is all there is to it. Too weak to eliminate a great evil that plagues this multiverse. You had a chance to uproot a vice in our ranks, and spare many from a life of suffering and torture, and you did not. By sparing her, the only thing you've displayed is cowardice and stubbornness. You refuse to change that which you are- A weakling- For the greater good. Your morals hold no height over anyone else's, not because they are wrong, but because you haven't the power or omnipotence to support such grandiose wishes. Stupidity. Ignorance. Naivety. That's all you have, and if Rajaka decides to kill you today, those pitiful traits are all you will be remembered for."

Zelriane rose his hand slowly and revealed a circular tattoo, with two halves, one transparent to reveal his skin, and one white, with a dot in the middle. The ying yang symbol.

"Good cannot exist with evil, but the right morals, are the morals with the most power. It is that simple. And if you are unwilling to take a life, even one as evil as Adarine's, you are weak. That is a fact. There are no ways around it. Continue down that path, and you will die without any impact whatsoever."
Prisma's blade struck air, but he didn't stop there. Prisma slashed at Felix as he finished speaking, missing once again. After the boy ascended, the 5 clones grouped up, and aimed the palms of their hands up at the swordsman.

"He talks too much!"

"I'm one to judge."

"Of course we are!"

"Three.."

"Two.. Time's up!"

All together, the clones fired several volleys of raw arcane energy, blue in coloration, and grouped together into a little colony of destructive spheres that were aimed to strike Felix now.

"My name is not Prismo, and our abilities are not regenerative!" Prisma shouted, mockingly, and in total unison.
Zelriane stopped and turned to Jenso. "Ultimately, life has no meaning in this universe, or any other, for that matter. We are all products of the void, and doomed, or blessed, to be returned to her endless expanse when our Ki leaves our bodies and soaks through the fabric of reality, into the darkness betwixt the worlds. But, if you choose to cling to meanings and place value in morality, or any other set of rules, which is what I have done, then I would suggest you use better judgement," Zelriane spoke, disregarding Jenso's morals while also acknowledging their importance.

"Killing is a universal- No, multiversal necessity, one which provides a workaround for far more dire circumstances. Sometimes it is not necessary, like how you spared Ada's life. If you had killed her, this conversation would not be taking place, and you would already be dead. But if you had made that sacrifice, and traded your life for Ada's, you would have saved millions to come from her treacherous behavior. In essence, your cowardice has doomed millions to face the same torture she has bestowed upon you and your people, if not worse," Zelriane explained very clearly. He spoke with a bold tone, and shook his head. "Ada finds joy in torture, and manipulating others, while indulging in her own lust for sexual gratification, and the pain of others. That is why she lost to you, when you hid your pain, and preyed on her insecurities. Prisma seeks entertainment blindly, resorting to widespread malice, rather than methodically picking his targets. He does not enjoy it when people suffer, he simply enjoys the prospect of exterminating life. These two beings are reprehensible, even by my standard, but they have a rigid code of conduct that our master respects, and are more powerful than most because of it." Zelriane stepped closer to Jenso and looked around curiously.

"You are just like us. Gifted. Yet you speak of morality and sin as if you hold some moral high ground over my family. This is your ignorance, boy, and your most powerful limitation. As long as you are held back by such infantile morals, you will remain mortal, and by extension, you will die, and millions after you will suffer for your cowardice. You cannot do everything, nobody can, and that is why me and my family exist. We symbolize what is necessary, and futile. The true nature of the universe is found in our hearts. Our goals, although not in unison morally or rationally, are that which embodies all of reality."

"Chaos"
"Rather crude, but not completely inaccurate. You don't seem fond of our practices," Zelrian quipped, slowly turning away.
"We are here to investigate you," Zelriane announced, "Your exponential growth from what Prisma was privy, to that which you've displayed today, is concerning, and intriguing. We are here to observe, and if necessary, kill you." Zelriane looked over to the arena and nodded silently. "I believe you've met with nearly every member of our family, by now. I'm curious, who do you think we are?"
Very brief posts, as there is not actually much for me to do.

@Rune_Alchemist@Empath You two should establish yourself and your goals a little more before I get involved in the arc that you're progressing towards, but I definitely have something in mind once you get rolling.

@13org You are free to continue posting with Vale regularly, and will conjoin with the three person group as soon as possible.

@Rekaigan You will be joined with Jenso ASAP, once your situation resolves, as the two of you are the last remaining players in the paradise -_-

@RyuShura I shall post for you tomorrow. I will also post in our hero tale tomorrow, hehe.

Divers Paradise, East Entrance

@Jensoman

Jenso easily disarmed the men, promptly taking one down without much effort. The attacker that received his knee fell forward and dropped his sphere, allowing it to roll across the ground towards Luke, while the second successfully placed the sphere against Len's skin. Within moments, the light in Len's eyes left him, and he fell forwards, unconscious and defeated. Luke didn't show any mercy. With a flick of his hand, a single bullet flew from Luke's thumb, and into the skull of the man that Jenso attacked, executing him on the spot.

"Jenso! We have to get down into the main tunnels!" Luke shouted, taking no time in running down the leftmost eastern ramp.

Illon, Slums

@13org

"Cocky!" Vale spat, reaching for his blade and drawing in a single fluid motion. It was black, from the hilt to the tip, with two white spherical designs at the epicenter of the blade. Pride stepped back and focused her Ki into a pair of gauntlet-like claws that extended past her fingertips. They were designed to tear away at Ki, and feed Pride's own. But Vale didn't seem phased. "So much talk, willing to throw away their lives, 'how high?' They ask! When your master says jump, feh!" Vale eyed the two sins, but his aggressive stance melted away moments later, and he lowered his blade to the ground. "Very well! You have intimidated me! I will answer but one of your questions before I make my devilish escape! Pick wisely, as I will likely answer without regard, not even the slightest, for your investigative efforts!" Pride paused and turned to lust.

"Does he think us foolish?" She muttered to her ally, ready to attack at any moment.

Diver's Paradise, Western Ramp

@Rekaigan

Oswynn arrived to see Kevin struggling with an unfamiliar diver who held a sphere close to his throat. Kevin had his attacker's wrist grasped tightly, and slowly forced it away, but upon Oswynn's arrival, he looked at the alchemist expecting immediate assistance.

"H-Help!?" He shouted, barely managing to keep himself inches away from a gruesome fate.
