@The Grey Dust Just saying that I have improvised with my weapons and have/will use them in different means, just saying in advance. Nothing like a change in their properties/powers. But didn't want to write a book on my powers/weapons called "101 ways to use your powers".

Seems a bit more reasonable. People seem to misunderstand the idea of having a demigod is to not be immortal, but I suppose since your character can be "destroyed" there is still a threat of "failing" your endeavor. Accepted, feel free to proceed to place it on the Character tab.

Excellent then, what sort of character did you have in mind?

We have currently on our roster the following:

1 Horseman w/ shiny steed
1 Paladin w/ tank bubbles
1 Mage w/ destruction magicks
1 Ranger w/ animal friend
1 Rogue w/ sharp things

Note our lack of definitely Cleric/healer type or something other than fighting.

I may have to provide a group healer.

It's not a my wand is bigger competition. Let's keep it civil. We are using DOTA logic here where everything is so unbalanced, everyone is balanced in being unbalanced. Ergo tis fine.

Also I shall have the introductory IC post tonight, hopefully, unless we want to have a group larger than 5/6.

@Wyverntamer Seeing how at least people have voiced opinions against your character due to some duplicity, and since I did have reservations about allowing another soul-wielding character, is it possible for you to go through thru same process as we did with Wraith to modify the character to be more acceptable by the group?

I won't try* to collect any souls in hell as the only reason I do this is to rid the world of corruption(and power myself up) BUT you can consider me and my personal realm as a separate kind of hell. None can influence each other in relation to soul dealings. As a matter of "how many souls do I have", I have thousands upon thousands but for the sake of this rp I will dump them in my personal realm while only having 100 within me. These souls cannot be taken from me and they stand as lives=100 lives. This leads to Soul Drainage and Divine Judgment/Condemned and Soul Controlling Wires not working inside the realm of hell.

Changed: *Divine Judgment/Condemned- By putting one hand over your forehead and looking into your eyes, his gaze piercing through your fleshy self and into the depths of your soul, he can confirm the darkness/light in you. Even the slightest stain of corruption present in your soul will make you unworthy of existence in his eyes leading to damnation in his realm.*

Changed: Dagger part: *indestructible-If the dagger is broken it means that his god doesn't support him anymore*

Added: *Double Edged Condemner-59(149.86cm) inches long katana that can cut through any material or soul. If it is destroyed Talændrel loses half his current souls that are in his body. When sheathed it is indestructible, cannot be unsheathed by anyone except the owner(Talændrel) himself.

Added Condemned=leading to damnation in his realm. Both don't work in the realms of hell as I earlier mentioned but just added it as a bonus.

@The Grey Dust Also added **Forsaken Humanity: All the souls that Talændrel has in his body serve as fuel for his powers and life points hence they are consumed when receiving any-to-be-fatal damage or using an ability or the Double Edged Condemner.

For balance and while using certain abilities like knifes infused with souls or soul wires to shred souls they don't necessarily consume a soul per use if any at all. And my sword consumes 10 souls per strike.

Armor/Weapons/Equipment: The cloak of hiding: This cloak hides Gerard's face from those who wish to see it, and stores his weapon within it.
The harvesting lantern: This lantern absorbs souls on contact, and uses them as light sources, for his travels up and down the river of souls.
Darkend Stick: This stick was a basic wooden rod, but Mirg enchanted it into a staff capable of withstanding extreme pressure and reforming if smashed.
Boat of neverwhere: This boat allows him to travel everywhere, floating on the souls of the dead, he uses his lantern to fuel it when no souls are to be found.
Magical/Divine Abilities: Soulseeing: Gerard can see the souls of the dead and dying.
Dark prisoner: Gerard can release a soul from his lantern and trick them into thinking his opponent was the one who trapped them.
Speech of the Dead: Granted by Mirg, this enchantment allows Gerard to speak with the dead and pass the knowledge on to others.

Personality: Gerard generally likes to socialize, but finds it hard to do as he, in his eyes, is too ugly to look at people. Gerard also likes to fight, despite being a pacifist, if one makes him fight, he will try to end the fight as quickly as possible.

Likes: The living, nature and small animals
Dislikes: Undead, soulless beings moving, being framed
Fears: That some day people will find out about his first failed task
Aspirations: To erase all knowledge of his failure and become a god

Relationships:

Allies: The souls trapped within his lantern

History: Gerard's life has been overshadowed by a prophecy, as the shaman of his tribe spoke that a man, born under the signs of both life and death would bring destruction to the entire tribe. From then on, it was forbidden for any child who was born under the signs of life or death to meet and get into a relationship, but his parents did just that. After their relationship was found out, they were sentenced to death and died, but unbeknownst, their child was already born and having the best time of his life. Gerard would have lived on happily, if it weren't for the fact that the God of the Passing had taken a liking to him. Mirg cursed Gerard so that everyone around him would slowly lose their life force and it would be donated to Gerard.

This curse only became apparent when the shaman of Gerard's tribe tried to read the stars for Gerard and found that a single star was missing, slowly being drained into Gerard. The tribe sentenced Gerard to death, so that the curse would be lifted from the tribe, but Mirg instead of taking Gerard's life, took the life of the shaman and made his being known. He offered Gerard a deal, take on the role of the Scythe, and Gerard continued to live, refuse, and he would die last. Gerard took the offer, and his first task was to kill his girlfriend at the time. Gerard asked for privacy and Mirg gave him that. Gerard helped his girlfriend escape and then killed all of the rest of his tribe, his second task.

I mean we already do have a soul collector and the abilities of both champions seems similar. There is already a force of Psychopomp without the use of the gods, although mortals don't know about it, so they attribute it to the God. That being said does anyone have any objections to this character?

As for the souls that I have, they are not affected by hell or anyother thing more differently as other souls that are in demigod bodies. Cause all of this souls already have a vessel(me), I don't see them leaving anytime soon. However souls will deplenish in the case of my character receiving a "fatal blow" or strong hits, you can call it my hp bar.

I'm not sure why they wouldn't be affected by Hell. The souls stored within you are still to be judged, those who fit the bill should rightfully be damned in Hell instead of stored within you. Since the souls you possess do not contain a divine spark, you cannot claim they are unaffected by Hell as all normal souls are indeed affected by it, regardless of where they are. To what degree varies with the soul. You may fight the pull Hell has on those souls, but you will have to RP out the effect the deeper you go if you wish to keep the souls. You're not the only one with soul harvesting powers in Hell, since Hell is essentially a collection of souls.

If I were to let this power get out of hand, then in such a case the quest would be over with your demigod absorbing all the souls in Hell and since you claim Hell has no effect on the souls you claim, then there is nothing I can logically do save for have Divine punishments kill your character until all the souls are depleted. Don't think I so easily accepted your character without considering the implications of having a soul manipulator in a realm of souls. I'm not THAT stupid, hence rule 6.

That being said, despite not having listed your ability to absorb souls to recover from fatal wounds, etc on the application, please quantify the number of souls you are currently carrying for this adventure through Hell should you wish to retain such souls, within a reasonable number please as you technically are not an immortal yet.

Is this reasonable and Fair?

@The Grey Dust I do, after reading through it, it still felt like a lazy character copy-pasted together by someone with no interest in actually making anything new.
