The highest, most decisive experience is to be alone with one's own self. You must be alone to find out what supports you, when you find that you can not support yourself.

The core of an individual is the mystery of life, which dies when it is 'grasped'. That is also why symbols want to keep their secrets.

Bio

The Harbinger of Ferocity

Agent of the Wild, Aspect of the Ferine
Nature, red in tooth and claw.

"There is, indeed, no single quality of the cat that man could not emulate to his advantage."
- Carl Van Vechten

I am, at my core, a personification and manifestation of those things whose blood and hearts run red with the ferocity of the animal world. It is this which convicts and controls my works, my writing, my being; the force and guidance in which I gain wisdom from. It is what inspires me as a creator and weaver of words, the very thing I admire as an author.

My leanings, savage as they are, are of the feline sort as there exists no greater lineage of beasts whom can be drawn from. No others captivate and motivate my talent and skill as the greatest of cats do.

I worked both some writing and character magic to accelerate travel through the forest, leaving us two - @Ojo chan 42 and myself - in a place where any encounter could credibly happen. The alteration just only now having run out, the Great Beast has only recently returned from feeding itself.
"If I was not prepared to overcome some problems or get into trouble during my first flight, I would not have taken off at all. Instead I choose to go and fly, and maybe I will fall." The Great Beast's rounded ears cupped toward the sound of the woman's voice as she explained herself in further detail yet, adding nothing beyond what it was she had said; it needed not to provide any further emphasis. Both she and the divine agent knew the consequences of failure and there was nothing more to that. It then turned, ever so slightly moving its leviathan shoulders, speaking to her once more in this shrouded forest while preparing to depart.

"You may, small one." The grand jaws parted, air rumbling again at its words.

With one huge paw lifted before another, it set off with incredible silence in the cool night, leading the way but never daring far. It moved with enough urgency that the young woman was not without need to keep up her pace; a walking speed, but one with purpose and direction. It traversed the woodland, stepping over fallen trees, rocks and streams with no issue, only ever slowing as it listened to its companion overcome the same obstacles in her way. It never departed her otherwise except when it came to eat, speaking nothing more upon the matter than that it would return later - to which it always did.

But when it did at last return, the young blind woman knew dawn was upon them and that their travel had been hastened. There was something unseen the regal feline had done, a power she had felt in the air around her, a sensation that was unclear and indistinct but obviously some work of magic. It had allowed them both to move with incredible speed and means between the forest, overcoming days of travel in mere hours; as though the distance between the two points had been reduced. Whatever it was, when its effect ended after the predatory figure returned, the reality set in again that time was behaving normally once more for them.

They were in a foreign land now, far, far from her home and only somewhat closer yet to the edge of the shadow that crept upon the land.

I will post in the next few hours, but only to put us on our path.
I am unsure if we looted anything from the kobolds, at least worthy of note, but beyond that I am mostly having Brannor follow Trear.
The Great Beast has what amounts to a general direction of the Shadow, which is only part of the puzzle as I imagined it. This said, @Mr Rage, if you have a plot device you want to acquire, feel free to - I would say it would work well for you to capture it, then have your entourage attacked and forced astray through the tunnels. That way we have yet another villain, a vampire, an item you needed and only one step closer to the Shadow, but at the same time, far from any true successes.
Well, Ein is traveling to the dwarven kingdom to go meet with the king, I assumed it was at this point that my character would find out the primary plot point/prophecy about us defeating the evil dude. I assume that via the magic of the dwarven kingdoms underground tunnels that I can pop out just about anywhere and meet up with anyone. So, Ojo's character wants to meet more humans? I would say you two head to where darkwolf is at, meet up there, and I will stumble across you there as well and we can go on our marry ways towards defeating the boss.

That sounds reasonable enough, that by following the "wrong" path through the dwarven tunnels you find an exit to the surface world.
This roleplay is still open and looking for more players.
I would say the same to wait perhaps two days more, then we can all maneuver ourselves together, @DarkwolfX37. That said, @Mr Rage and @Ojo chan 42 as well, what does everyone think would be a good meeting ground for the characters?
The siege-weary woman drew nearer after she conversed with her husband; the man seemed to ignore his wounds to the best of his ability, but based the lameness of his arm, there was no hiding it. He was as bloodied as one would've expected, but the woman's whispering confirmed what the aspirant of the natural realm already knew. She said, before interrupted, "Cuth will never admit needing any help, but he is hurt. Perhaps..."

The man, helping his children as he was while speaking, noted that he would not be of much use in battle and that others, the small gathering of armed travelers, could make more use of it. Brannor knew this as truth, but it would not have deterred his offer otherwise, but if the man refused healing, whatever his reasoning was, then that was the way it was to be. The paladin however, kept his thick arms crossed, content to reply with nothing more but a nod and a low, throaty answer.

"Very well."

Reaching back, Brannor's hand laid itself to the greatsword and the weapon was drawn free of the metal ring that secured it upon him; the thick leather belt that carried the weapon, of which was broad across his bloodied chest, moved slightly in response. Flexing each finger upon it, he shifted his attention from the clouds and ash above, to the moon, and at last to the people around him. It was now he breathed deep again and shook himself off slightly; chain beneath the hide clinking ever so slightly.

"If we meet conflict, we should attempt to defeat it - lest we have more enemies behind us." He said, looking over Orchid, Parum and Trear, knowing the city was likely still full of roving marauders. "Did you find anything from the kobolds?"

The elf however, was already on her way until she tripped herself up in the dim light, knocking over a barrel of fruit, of which went cascading across the path they were taking. At least it was early on in their advance, not deeper yet into the unknown when it happened, but it did not stop Brannor from using every ounce of his awareness at the surprise of the event; his alert, animal eyes cutting through the ambient firelight and smoky haze. More so than anything, he attempted to listen and strove to remain as conscious of foot as he could be while remaining vigilant and attuned.

He would rather surprise these monstrous dragon-creatures than they him.
