The highest, most decisive experience is to be alone with one's own self. You must be alone to find out what supports you, when you find that you can not support yourself.

The core of an individual is the mystery of life, which dies when it is 'grasped'. That is also why symbols want to keep their secrets.

The Harbinger of Ferocity

Agent of the Wild, Aspect of the Ferine
Nature, red in tooth and claw.

"There is, indeed, no single quality of the cat that man could not emulate to his advantage."
- Carl Van Vechten

I am, at my core, a personification and manifestation of those things whose blood and hearts run red with the ferocity of the animal world. It is this which convicts and controls my works, my writing, my being; the force and guidance in which I gain wisdom from. It is what inspires me as a creator and weaver of words, the very thing I admire as an author.

My leanings, savage as they are, are of the feline sort as there exists no greater lineage of beasts whom can be drawn from. No others captivate and motivate my talent and skill as the greatest of cats do.

I would have to agree that the notion of climate science being "settled" is outlandish, especially in the context of human impacts and effects. It is no secret that during the 1970s that the top scientists of the time on the matter worried enough about global cooling, not global warming, to consider programs and projects that would have had the goal of attempting to alter the Earth's atmosphere. By the 1990s, there was general panic among this same circle that the "green house effect" would warm the planet so much that in the early 2000s the polar icecaps would have melted largely or completely and that massive floods, storms and sea level rises would cause untold damage; this train of thought persisted for a while and morphed into the "global warming" argument. Today, they incarnate this concept as climate change, which is nothing less than a catchall term that can be thrown around without care or concern to argue the point. By this I mean I am certain you have all heard the people screaming that this past hurricane season was somehow unnatural and obviously a consequence of human invention and advancement.

The most rational thing to do is to be extremely skeptical and distrustful of the climate change argument and not just because it has previously demonstrated a willingness to forge its numbers and use hysteria to attempt to provoke a response, but because to claim they can successfully predict it at this rate is a laughable statement. They have repeatedly been wrong, knowingly target the wrong issues - Why are they focusing upon the United States and not growing industrial nations such as India or China? - and have openly lied and been caught before. No less, many of these studies haven't the peer review they claim to, in that most are all self confirming among their circle but are not demonstrated in larger circles or projects; the data just is not there to call it a closed case, especially with human influences.

What I can submit, beyond question, is that human beings do affect the climate, but it is questionable just how significant their influence is. From my perspective, I find it a bit arrogant to perceive that man is somehow a larger player than all of nature or is that tipping point rumored to be greater than all of the world's history. I believe there is much left wanting and that instead of punishing industries that are known for pollution, such as coal, that industries such as nuclear, hydroelectrical, geothermal, wind turbine, solar and so on receive incentives.

Now a lone soul, trapped within a suit of armor worn in life, battled against far superior foes who additionally outnumbered it several fold. It fought with all the same mindless fury of any spirit shackled to a purpose, good, bad or otherwise. It drew up its axe, its ghostly face taking shape again beneath the steel helm, it swung wide only to miss the fellow warrior of the realm and came around with a step toward Cesar; it connected and landed a vicious strike of its axe. Again the bard felt alive, a surge of both physical and spiritual adrenaline racing through his veins, as he stumbled to catch himself. The armor then, pivoting back, exposed itself to the bard and chose to focus upon its most obvious foe in the giant of a man, Valmjr.

"Hang on friend, Birbin will send help!" The wizard yelled in his soft voice, that which still carried sincerity despite its childish nature, before pointing a finger at the armsman. He gestured there after to the battle and took a few cautious, wisely placed steps back while he was at it. The soldier charged forth in response, his boots crashing across the floor as he raised his shield.

"Any scar worth owning is earned, brother!" He cried out, swinging the round bulwark and striking the armor. The suit turned and prepared its weapon; now was the time for the men to attack.

For the first time there might be something to the Russian narrative as the Senate intends to investigate the Obama administration's actions and the involvement of Hillary Clinton... in the uranium and bribery department that is. Now I know @mdk had mentioned this before, as did I on the Guild's Discord, but it is still amusing no one is willing to bite on this story despite how many other "scandals" they were willing to bring forward.

This is not a point to gloat about, but rather instead a larger point about the deep seated corruption that had almost won a bid for presidency. This was no secret either - you can read about it for yourself in the article - and was known well in advance, something that was constantly being beaten down as "fake news" or unimportant during the election, yet here it is, in plain view for everyone to see. There is of course some pretty impressive damage control taking place so as to better sweep this under the rug and out of the eyes and mind of the average citizen, again, but let us not succumb to that. A fair number might want to ignore it, though the good news is, is that the cat is almost assuredly out of the bag now.
If nothing comes of posting over the next day, I will put forward something just to hold things over; not that there is much Brannor can honestly do other than look back as well and seem not too surprised. I might have a plan beyond that, but that is also assuming all else fails.
I have no issue with you feigning handing Brannor off among the other prisoners to work and investigate. It isn't as though he would be far and he's "captive" of sorts, so that shouldn't raise any alarms in theory even if they do see him. Just do tell me exactly what you intend so I can be on about it.

Thanks but I don't particularly care to enlighten you :)

Truthfully I did not expect any.
@Penny

Maybe you could enlighten us as to how you could do so much better considering this is "funny" to you? I am going to err on the reality that if this were anyone else, say President Trump's former competitor in Hillary Clinton, they would have been fawning over this response and clamoring to receive their own recognition for their "critical coverage of the most important moments". I would love to hear what you know about emergency and disaster management.
Look fellas. Even assuming the Puerto Ricans forgot to look under the sofa cushions for Trump's aid, isn't it kind of questionable he would pat himself of the back when people are still coping with what happened?

Not really, no. The man has legitimately gone on record praising the response of others several times over, well before he took any personal credit, and has been commended by others for what he has in fact done. Anyone saying otherwise to his right for such a claim is being intentionally dishonest with few motives other than "It is just because I hate Donald Trump." or "Donald Trump is stupid.". Let's not talk about Texas while we are at it or that many other people in other affected areas are still recovering, let alone from something equally comparatively tragic as say... one of the largest mass killings since the 11th of September that is still being swept under the rug at this very moment? Now, I am not willing to break off on tangent about anything other than Puerto Rico, but the kudos here are well deserved, especially in an environment where the dishonest media and Far Left talking heads are trying to spin this as the next Hurricane Katrina. It isn't and never will be.

If it were not for the ludicrous politicization by a handful of people and a climate polarized by pettiness, this would have gone down as one of the best mass disaster responses in the history of the United States, especially amidst all the other taxing of emergency resources.
There was a charm to older Warcraft, at least from my perspective, which has in part returned with the most recent expansion. It is no original game, or even the Burning Crusade, but things again feel distinct. Cataclysm was notorious for this, being a huge return to form but one that shocked the newer populace too much, hence the "reset" of sorts with everything up until now. I feel that so long as it clings to its identity and what made the game as it were, it might actually survive. Now this is not to agree with some changes they have made - I loathe what they have done with gear for example, not having things such as Dodge, Parry, Hit Rating and the like - but many core aspects like class identity are alive and well, particularly with how artifacts were played out.
So... we are to advance soon then, yes?
