Persona in Wonderland: A Persona RP.

What was once a peaceful capital city for all ages is now a land without children, as England soon is starting to become as well. With each new child it claims, the range of the P3 Syndrome gets broader and broader and will continue to until all of England, and eventually the world, becomes affected by this comatose-inducing disease.

However, for Alice Crowley and Adam Smith, this isn't really a concern. They were far past their childhood, and in Alice's case, in her college years while Adam just started his junior year of high school. As they go about their normal lives, they see the city has also been unnaturally normal, considering the pandemic of P3 Syndrome. Since it only affects young children, the people of London probably trying to ignore it, not worried due to either not having children, or having children that are too old to be affected. It's almost amazing how people can care less about this kind of disaster, so long as it doesn't fall on them either. However because of this, the city is aging and anyone not within their age are either older or in the hospital under a comatose.

While Alice has no real reason to be directly concerned about it, Adam spent every waking moment before sleep worried for the children at the orphanage, already claimed by the P3 Syndrome. Deep down, of course he wants to help cure this illness and wake the children, but with the orphanage closed, the only thing he could do about is go through school normally, with the prospect of going to medical school afterwards.

As they're both about ready to start her classes tomorrow, they head off to bed early for a good night sleep, hoping to have a good year ahead of them.

However, right at the stroke of Midnight, they, and others within the town, would suddenly feel strange. A pulse, that would make them normally jump out of their sleep as if reacting to a jump scare, would push through their minds, and their dreams would fade away to black. Yet it would feel as real and deep as if it was in fact reality. Then, in front of them, a light shined through the darkness, revealing some kind of giant rectangle, and despite there being no light anywhere else, they would be able to see themselves within this rectangle, clear as day. A full-body mirror, perhaps? The reflection becomes more and more transparent, and beyond it, what should be absolute darkness is in fact what appeared to be some kind of...land, a beautiful green forest, its beauty somewhat ruined by the grey clouds covering the sky, blocking out the assumingly blue skies and sun, but seeping the light of day through it. If they looked behind them, they would find nothing but black, yet the land in the rectangle was still there. This wasn't a mirror, but a window it seems.

Suddenly, without warning, they would be pushed, or rather pulled, into this window by an invisible force, going right through the window, feeling almost a refreshing feeling upon contact, as if passing a wall of calm water, before they all land on the meadows before them. If they looked around, they would see that they indeed landed in the strange land, appearing to be a beautiful summer woods by the looks of the number of incredibly massive green-leaved trees around them and the pleasantly soft though oddly tall and large grass on the oddly felt texture of the dirt on the ground. Alice and Adam, in particular, needed a little bit of time to catch their breaths and realized what just happened, noticing that there were other people in this patch of grass besides themselves, when the sound of moving plant life and footsteps was heard.

If they look, they would see a small figure walking up to them, covered in the tall grass, but revealing itself as it got to them. The figure appeared to be a little white rabbit with red eyes and what appears to be a red coat of some kind. Besides the coat, and the fact it was on its feet almost as if standing up like a normal human, it looked like your ordinary bunny rabbit, size and all. It simply looked at the humans, taking a closer look at them before pulling back and sighed.

"Hmm...Well, this is... disappointing to say the least. Why, they look no different from any other human." It said. Unless there was also an incredibly good ventriloquist nearby, there was no doubt that this Rabbit just talked, its mouth moved to talk as he shakes his head. Alice jumped when she looked up to see it. Adam simply looking at it in awe while looking around; so many questions was going through his head that he couldn't think of which one to ask first. Alice on the other hand... simply looked at the Rabbit in awe, poking it on the head to see if it's real, and sure enough, she could feel the soft fur and hard skull beneath it.

"...Please stop that." He simply said in an irritated tone.

"...Who...What are you, and where are we?" She asked.

"I am simply a White Rabbit, I have no other name, nor a need for one, ...and this is a place known as Wonderland. And you....You!" The rabbit simply said, but after getting a good hard look at Alice's face, he jumped back and stared at Alice with widened eyes of shock.

"...Me, what? Is something wrong? ...You look like you've seen a ghost. ...Wait, I should be the one looking shocked at the talking rabbit here!" Alice said. The White Rabbit stared for a little while, before blinking, clearing his throat returning to a more formal posture.

"...It's nothing, I...simply didn't expect to get an adult here." The White Rabbit responded

"What's that supposed to mean!?" Alice said, somewhat annoyed at him clearly calling her old.

Weapon: Two Kitchen knife-sized daggers, attached to her two index fingers via strings, effectively making them mid-range weaponry as well as close-range.

Personality: Like with most wild cards, Alice has very little in regard to actual personality. It's her connections with others that will shape it to completion.

Initially, however, she is a kind, reasonably mature, but often upbeat and energetic individual; often the optimist. She is fairly intelligent, although only knows the basic ideals of psychology as a just-starting college student in Psychology.

Character Relevance: As Alice before her, Dorothy represents an innocent girl entering stepping into a world that is fascinating yet terrifying, and while she is weak and wanting to go home, in time she will gain the courage and power to help this world from its troubles. Personality: Adam is often a very quiet individual, to the point where one may consider him anti-social, but he's far from the gritty loner archetype such a trait is often associated with. He's polite, can be kind towards others, but simply unlikely to want to do things around others.

He is, above all else, a perceptive mind, analytical and always attempting to get a read on the people around him, be they friends or enemies.

Despite his own intelligence and calculative nature, he has a tendency to be impatient, wanting to get things done in as little simple moves as possible so that he could move on to the task at hand. While he shows himself off to be doing this because he is bored, or because he wants out of Wonderland and back to the real world as soon as possible, this is not quite true.

Upon realizing where he is and how he was brought there, he began to hide his true emotions in his silence and solo nature. In truth, deep down, his impatience is to find the children infected with P3 syndrome and held prisoner in Wonderland, and rescue them, damn the consequences to himself or others for it. For bringing the children to this place, imprisoning them, and endangering their lives, Adam has a loathing for all shadows of Wonderland, especially the white rabbit who brought the children here in the first place and starting this mess. While there are shadows assisting them like said Rabbit, they are still a bunch of unnatural monsters in his eyes, only allowed to live because of their use in getting those kids back.

Backstory: Born and Raised in London, Adam had a rough life in the early days of his childhood. His parents were relatively normal but overly stressed out from their day-to-day routine of jobs and taking care of Adam. At least, that was the excuse that was made by police and doctors alike when they succumbed to Apathy Syndrome and became members of the Lost during the early days of the Dark Hour. Their catatonic state left them unable to take care Adam, who had no relatives to turn to for help in this matter. As such, he was taken to an Orphanage, spending the rest of his days there.

At first, Adam hated it there, a brash change of the status quo was bad enough, but now he had to live with other parent-less kids in a building run by adult strangers, when all he wanted was to be with his parents again. However, as the fellow orphans began trying to converse and have fun with him, he eventually began to warm up to them.

As Adam grew older, and his parents showed signs of recovery early on the next decade, he continued to live his life in the Orphanage, deciding to stay and be a caregiver for the place that gave him a home when he had none left. He did leave the orphanage himself when he turned 16, wanting to make sure he wasn't taking any spots away from other Orphans, but he still worked there as a part-time job in addition to school.

Although he does not remember it, he was within the Dark Hour when the Fall occurred, and all he was thinking about, was running towards the orphanage to make sure the children there was safe. The Dark Hour ended, incidentally, right when he was at the door to the Orphanage, not remembering why he was there to begin with, but decided to visit them while he was.

Things were going well enough for him for the next few months of 2010...But then the P3 Syndrome occurred. From the moment he first heard of it, that it was taking children, he immediately rushed there, only to find that his fears were realized. He skipped school for the next few days, to help the children who were now in a state of eternal slumber and the adult caretakers who were having a hard time handling this situation. In the end, however, there was nothing he was able to do for them, as they were transferred to a hospital, the Orphanage itself closing its doors until this syndrome finally lifts.

He wanted to help somehow, but he doesn't know the first thing about this illness, and it seemed other doctors were just as stumped. Until this point, he had no real plans after school, he originally wanted to just be a caretaker of this orphanage and help the kids out the way the original caretakers helped him. Now that the children are comatose, and the orphanage shut down, Adam feels the best way to help these kids in their situation was to become a doctor, and find a way to cure P3 once and for all. Even if there was no cure for it, he wasn't going to stop until he found one.

Little did he know, that another, more effective way of saving the kids of this class was about to come to him.

Persona Appearance: Standing at about 7'5", Alexander looks relatively human, but with a lion's head, wearing golden scale armor with black trimming marking a design into it.

Persona Skills: Zio, Cleave, Tarukaja

Character Relevance: Alexander was a grand conqueror and tactician in his day, which is what made him a legend, moreover he preferred simplistic tactics for complicated problems, such as when he cut through the gordian knot as oppose to untying it. Adam is an intelligent boy and the tactician of the group, though preferring the most simple and easy solutions as possible to whatever plans he has.

Tyler Blackmore

Name: Ex-Corporal Tyler Blackmore

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Attire: The same as in the image, however, it should be noted that the Dog tags have been scratched by a knife numerous times, rendering them unreadable.

Arcana: Hermit

Weapon: None

Personality: There was a time where Tyler was happy with his job, he always dreamed of being a soldier, knew the dangers and risks involved, knew that he would be sent to kill one day, and did so without much remorse, believing in the cause that he was fighting for the right reasons. The warfare around him tired and stressed him out to no end, and so when the Dark hour came every night, for one hour of the day he felt relaxed from its silence, and ready to fight once more by the he wakes the next day.

However, after the catastrophe that led him to leave the army, uncaring of how its viewed in the eyes of his superiors or the people around him, he changed. His life became isolated and anti-social and he himself becoming extremely pacifistic and unwilling to fight anyone for any reason. A notion that got particularly bad when the Dark Hour was no more, and he no longer had an hour of the day dedicated to peace in solitude and silence. He never socialized with anyone, even after he left America and moved to England, even after getting a normal 9-to-5 job there to keep himself alive. Even then, he's often questioned himself with why he would even bother with that, overburdened with the guilt of that same catastrophe leading him to question why he continues to even exist.

Still, that is not to say his heart has completely died, deep down beneath the guilt and the want for loneliness, there is a sense of morality and honor that he has had, and still has, since his days of being a soldier. It was naive feelings of wanting to protect his friends by destroying his enemies, and he has long realized it, but his guilt stems from his inability to protect, his depression stems from his inability to protect the innocent, and his pacifism stems from never wanting to bring harm to another human again. He truly does care for others, and will often try whatever he can to help others from the shadows, giving a little money to the homeless, helping a fellow employee in his time of need, and all without wanting any credit for himself, often trying to keep himself from being noticed by even those he tries to help.

Backstory: From the moment he could read and write in elementary school, Tyler was an american who dreamed of serving as a soldier in the army. His parents were patriotic folks, his grandfather once serving in the US Marines, and his comic books of american patriotic heroes (totallynotcaptainamerica) inspired him to want to become just like one. He trained his body for his entire life ever since his dedication started, doing sports, exercises, anything physical and mental he felt was needed for a soldier to have.

At the age of 18, he got his chance, enlisting in a military boot camp and being disciplined as a hardened army soldier, with some quality training as a military analyst. By then he matured his way of thinking, the naivety of his youth gone from him. He knew what he was getting himself into, and he knew what could happen to him in a battlefield, but he was prepared for any outcome that came his way...

Well, Almost any outcome.

After he was out of Boot Camp, he was immediately called into service in the middle east, and sometime during his call to action, he achieved the potential for a Persona, and by extension, unwittingly gained access to the Dark Hour. Discovered by him during a night raid on a terrorist camp, but spent earlier time within the Dark Hour sleeping, and only noticing how unusually well he slept due to having an extra hour.

At first his mind couldn't comprehend what he was seeing as he began to suffer through the common symptoms of a Persona-user's first time in the Dark Hour. Not helped was the fact that nobody believed him, thinking he was coming down with some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder. However, as each day flew by and each time he went into the Dark Hour, he got used to it over time. In the stress of wartime, it was a single hour of silence from the screams of other soldiers, and the firing of artillery and guns; ironically, the Dark Hour was the only time Tyler could relax for a little while.

Eventually, he even started to find ways to use the Dark Hour against his foes, studying up on the coffins that were the transmogrified humans around them, to see if he could break them open somehow. But none of the technology was working during the Hour, inconveniently enough, and the coffins proved to be made of a very sturdy material and with no way to open it from the outside; a combat knife couldn't even scratch it. He noticed however, that all technology inoperable during the Dark Hour was turned right back on as soon as the dark hour ends, exactly as they were before it started, as if it never happened to them. One day, as an experiment, he decided to steal a package of C4, arming it just before midnight. Then he walked through the dark hour to a safe location away from his men or any other people and waited, pressing the button on the remote for the C4 to no avail. When the Dark Hour passed, he noticed that the C4 was still armed, and still exploded upon pressing the remote detonator like it should have done.

After coming to his own conclusions of how the Dark Hour works based on his experiences and similar experiments, the whys not really concerning him after spending so many nights in it, Tyler decided to use this knowledge to his advantage, and the advantage of his allies and comrades. Though treated as if he was insane by others, he was granted permission to attempt at stealing information of an enemy base not far from the US' own encampment. He couldn't drive there during the Dark Hour, so instead he drove there on recon duty just before midnight, his experience as an analyst and reconnaissance soldier in the past few missions at the time assisting him here, setting and arming a time bomb he borrowed from the base just before midnight. When the Dark Hour came once more, he ran into the military encampment, everyone inside and outside becoming transmogrified and every surveillance camera or electronic security going offline for this one hour of the day. Since it also meant he could not take anything from any compartment that happened to have an electronic lock of any kind, he instead took what he could, and placed the bomb he borrowed into what he assumed to be the war room area of the camp. After which he ran out of the camp, out of any potential enemy sight, and when the Dark Hour was over, the time became active once again, and exploded, causing major damage to the enemy base and killing several enemy soldiers inside, the ones still alive having no idea what just happened to them.

While not giving the details of how he pulled this off, he returned to his superiors and reported that he took out the camp in question and took what he could from them, further proven by other analysts and recon soldiers sent to verify his story. Impressed by this mysterious method, and told that he could do more of these kinds of missions for them without much problem, he was told to perform it again a few times as proof of his word. Without hesitation and without question, he did followed his orders and become known as an expert soldier of Espionage, a "Phantom Bomber" who was said to come in the night, steal information and place armed explosives into their enemy bases without a trace. No matter what advance defensive technology they throw in preparation, Tyler always seems to do his mission and leave without suspicion or detection.

Needless to say, Tyler got cocky over time, over confident in his skills and the effective use of the hour, he might not have been able to bomb a base a day, but he certainly managed to steal from them every night. His superiors decided to use this loyal and obedient soldier to their advantage, promoting him to corporal, and giving him a particularly shady mission for them.

It sounded simple, there was a house in one of the towns that served as a strategic vantage point against the terrorists they were fighting against. It was already filled with an enemy unit disguising themselves as an everyday ordinary family inside the house while serving as a hideout for others to come to in order to hide from soldiers there. Since it's a position that more serves the terrorists than the army, he was ordered to establish a bomb there in secret as usual and destroy it. Overconfident by his recent victories, and yet to be misdirected before now, Tyler followed his order without question, waiting for the Dark Hour as usual and preparing the bomb to be placed in the house in question.

If only he could see what were inside the coffins of that house. The transmogrification made him unable to see who it was he was bombing, and so it was easy to assume that they were enemies in disguise as his superiors told him. As such, he planted the bomb, left the house, waited for the dark hour to pass, and detonated it like he has many times before,

...The truth can be a painful thing to realize, especially when it's realized too late. He walked into where he bombed it, and saw the burnt corpse of a man with no armor, a woman with no armor...and a child they found upstairs, an area Tyler didn't bother to look into. Why would he? There was no mention of any hostage scenario, and if it was an enemy up there, they'd be dead anyways.

It turns out his Commanding Officer at the time did not technically lie about this point being a strategic vantage point, but did lie about it being for the enemy. The town they were in happened to be on the neutral end of the spectrum, and so he wanted to get them to support the army US as more allies against their enemy by any means necessary, even going as far as doing it behind the back of his own allies. The house was smack in the middle of the town, so it would cause attention and alarm if it was attacked and blown up, and if it was revealed that it was caused by the terrorists and that the US came to help them, they would join them as supposed "vengeance". He tried to pay the family in secret to get them out of the house, promising to get them out of the region as well so that no one would actually get hurt, only for them to refuse. Without much option other than giving up, he decided to use Tyler, the "Phantom Bomber", to launch the attack with them inside. He did not know about the whole transmogrification that occurs during the Dark Hour, so he hoped that Tyler was gullible enough to fall for the "enemy in disguise" line. How fortunate for him that Tyler never actually saw who he killed.

This catastrophe, regardless of the aftermath's outcome, was a cause of major trauma for Tyler. He was suppose to be a lone hero, protecting people from violent terrorists, only to be commanded to do a violent act of terror that costed the life of an innocent family. He didn't know the result of that of what he did, and he no longer cared; he killed innocent people, and began to question if there anyone else he killed in his own actions that was innocent, who else died simply because they were at the wrong place at the wrong time. It was too much for him to bear, and it broke his spirit completely. Though he was given pardon for his actions by the Commander in question as his reward, he had had enough. He began to attack fellow soldiers, fellow allies, anyone who so much as looked at him funny, though never bringing much harm to them, questioned orders, ranted towards superior officers, anything to get him discharged, even if dishonorably so. Eventually he was court marshaled and got his wish, He left his unit and military in general, coming back as violent careless soldier who let his arrogance get the better of him, and he was okay with such a damning reputation. Eventually he didn't even want to be in the country anymore, moving to the United Kingdom to spend his days. Ever since, he moved into a small area of London, keeping himself in isolation for as long and as much as he could.

Eventually, even the Dark Hour stopped happening, memories of his time in those hours becoming hazy, only guilt after the fact remaining. It was as if even his greatest ally had abandoned him in the end. After-which came the P3 Syndrome, but those rumors fell on his deaf ears in the end, as he confined himself to solitude, and was looking to keep himself that way until the day he dies.

Persona Name: Sun Tzu

Persona Appearance: That Actual Persona Seems to a rather massive humanoid mass of fire energy, surrounded by what appears to be clay armor, protruding outward like spikes or stalagmites coming from them and a helmet that appears to also protrude from atop like a crown, his feet completely covered in clay stuck to a platform also made of clay, and a giant golden ring with a fiery design, a symbol of the sun, floating behind him. However, Tyler himself is completely covered in a clay cocoon just below the platform, that can produce a spire above Sun Tzu's platform that extends it upward like a tower. Inside the Clay Cocoon at the bottom is a dimensional space of his own, (Akin to Necronomicon's dimensional space in Persona 5.) where he sees through Sun Tzu's eyes and is able to move all but Sun Tzu's feet with his own body.

Persona Skills: Analysis, Area Surveillance

Persona Attributes: Contrary to its looks, Sun Tzu is a Navigator and Analysis Persona, he himself serving as a humanoid antenna for Tyler himself. When extended at a high enough vantage point, The Cocoon works like a giant monitor encircling Tyler, through which he can see multiple happenings around him at once, and able to zoom in on multiple battles at once, and analyzing multiple enemies at a time within range. Moreover, he able to use his position to mark his monitor, and communicate with everyone, relaying strategies without much problem. Later on, he will be able to use the ring around his back to assist his allies indirectly, via buffs and shields. In addition, he has no weaknesses of any kind. However, The drawback is, again contrary to how he looks, his persona is by no means offensive or capable of completely defending itself. It cannot fight, and has no strengths of its own.

Character Relevance: As the supposed and legendary author of the Art of War, Sun Tzu was believed to be a master general and tactician, employing tactics that go beyond the typical nature of battlefield combat, and employing the many detailed assets of an army, believing supreme excellence is "breaking the enemy resistance without fighting". Tyler was a soldier in a modern war, and knows the inner workings of warfare, but preferring to never actually step into a battlefield and witness the horrors of war again if he could help it, preferring instead to find ways of assisting his friends and allies from outside the battlefield using the expertise he's learned from his experience in the war.

The White Rabbit

Name: "The White Rabbit" Later to be called Peter White or Jill White

Gender: Male/Female (Gender is more about preference than fact when it comes to Shadows. Since shadows are essentially the physical embodiment of emotion, they don't really have an actual gender to them. As such, the gender they have is the gender they prefer to be. Shadow Selves however, who are doppelgangers of their original selves that they come out of, are the sole exception to this. Since the White Rabbit was tasked with taking children through the looking glass to Wonderland, He must take a form that gives comfort to those children, usually the form of a female, but sometimes taking a male form as well. As such, White Rabbit holds no gender preference, and can change it at any point in time.)

Arcana: The Star

Power: Besides the power to enter into the dreams of people and allow them access into Wonderland, as well as the ability to change into a human like appearance, (A power that all "awakened shadows" like him possess.) The White Rabbit has the ability of Manifestation. A shadow's body is made up of organic emotion, and as such is normally a thing of goop. The White Rabbit possesses the ability to take out a part of him, and shape them into what he wishes. Upon completing this, the part becomes the real thing, in the same manner of the Shadows taking physical form. With this, he can create weapons that he or anyone else can use. Given he knows about it, he can also shape it into items of any kind. It is through this ability that the persona users gained the Pocket-Watches necessary to awaken their personae. The bigger the item, the more time it takes to make them, the more of his body he has to use. Small items are nothing he needs to be returned to him, as he can heal himself and replace the part missing. However, bigger stuff he'll need to have returned to his body, or else he'll be incredibly weaker. Whether it was because of this power that's able to switch his gender, or because he could switch gender so loosely that he learned this power is unknown.

Additionally, because of said Gender-Swap, He has two personae instead of one.

Weapons: True form: A set of large knives between the knuckles as claws, and his trusty Flintlock Pistol (Will be .45 Magnum as the story progresses.)

Male Form: A staff with a hidden sword blade within it.

Female Form: Small throwing daggers and her over-sized pocket watch.

Personality: Because of his ability of gender-swapping, he developed a split-personality disorder between his male and female selves.

The Male version is an aristocratic snob of a gentleman. He is calm, calculative, sometimes suave, and very well-mannered, but also cold and cynical with a hint of sarcasm. He never truly raises his voice even when angered, and often he is as he can have something of a short-temper. He sees these humans as a means to an end, and not much more, determined to fight the queen and then send them home, but eventually will open up to them as time goes on. Speaking of which, he is very picky when it comes to time. Always wanting things to go on schedule, and annoyed greatly when something delays it. It's also worth mentioning that he absolutely hates carrots, not much for the vegetable himself, but for the stereotype it represents in the human world. As such, he is greatly irritated if someone offers him a carrot. He is often a rabbit of danger, and is willing to put himself on the line for the sake of helping others out, as annoying as it may be for him. While he seems like a jerk ultimately, his heart seems to always be at the right place, and the right time, and seems to have a beneficial goal.

The Female version, meanwhile, is a hyperactive, energetic, nutcase of a teenager. She is always active and always on the move, and always seems to be happy when she's not either panicking or crying her eyes out. The former of which being something she has a bad habit of. Like the male version she takes great care of wanting to be on time for something, and rather than sitting back and planning things out like the male, she goes into a panic about it. She is most happy around friends and is glad that she met the humans she did; one of her great fears seems to be being alone in the end. She is friendly, kind and filled with joy, which is why she is the one that used to take the children to Wonderland.

Persona Name: Sisyphus/Shirousagi (Evolved from Nix/Siren)

(Ultimate Persona: Prometheus/Nanabozho)

Persona Appearance: The male Persona, Sisyphus, looks like an old thin man wearing a royal robe with a boulder strapped to his back, the straps torn and wore out as he holds on to them. While Shirousagi looks like a small rabbit with stitched up patches of fur of many different colors all over his body, and standing on what appears to be the back of a moving shark.

Persona Attributes: Resists Physical and Fire, Weak against Ice and Psy/Resists Ice, Weak against Fire

Persona Skills: Agi, Bash, Power Charge/Bufu, Media, Patra

Character Relevance: While Nix and Siren represented the White Rabbit at his original job, luring in the children with a sense of False-hope and a false sense of security, (Effectively making him a Reverse-Star or a Moon) Sisyphus represents the White Rabbit's knowingly futile hope, as well as his defiance against a much higher power than his own. While Shirousagi represents their usage of the humans as tools to achieve that end, also representing Jill's embrace of the stereotypes of being a rabbit. The multiple colored patches not only show how colorful she is, but...just how scarred the white rabbit truly is.

The date is September 2010, Months after the supposed "Fall" of the world was supposed to happen as Japanese Cultists of Nyx predicted. As expected, it didn't come to pass; though the world would never know how close it was to doing so, and what had to be sacrificed to prevent it.

However, another bizarre crisis hits the capital of the United Kingdom. As of early April, Children with ages ranged between 4 and 12, on the stroke of Midnight are falling into a deep sleep from which they don't seem to ever wake up from. In one night, 6 children fall into this coma, in another night 7, then 8. Because this only seems to affect said children, the doctors are calling it the "Pied Piper Phenomenon" or "P3 Syndrome". Physically, these children are fine with the exceptions of a few and have no real reason, mental or otherwise, to fall under this coma. While most are well enough and alive in this coma, there have been a record of a rare few children who have sadly died while in this coma. As a result, a new level of fear and worry comes over the families of these children.

However, naturally, they only see and believe what's on the physical plain. What's happening is something within the Ethereal Plain, the plain of dreams. Within the world of Dreams, a mysterious white rabbit, who seems to take the form of both a human boy and girl on occasions, have entered into their dreams and led them through a window to another land, a window known as the "Looking Glass". The land it leads to was an amazing place of fantasy, a land of wonders beyond one's dreams or comprehension. But once they enter through the looking glass to this wonderland, they could never leave it. However, the White Rabbit seems to have vanished from his role as Pied Piper of these children, leaving other creatures to take his place.

Months of this happening has made it a point to have no one really come with their children to London anymore, and those who were born in London were immediately moved out to protect them from this epidemic. Needless to say it worked...temporarily. But as the number of children claimed grows, the range from which the creatures can claim them grew with it. At this rate, no child will be safe no matter where he or she is.

As said before, the P3 Syndrome seems to only affect children of ages 4-12. As such, no teenagers or adults seem to be effected and are safe from it ultimately. London is still a place to go for people without any young children of their own. Because of this, Politicians in this capital city aren't too worried about it-minus the fact of needing to address it-and are in fact covering it up from the world as best as possible to not cause any unnecessary searches from countries like America.

However, things are about to strike as unusual when an exception to the rules so far happens. For a group of teens, and maybe even some adult, on the stroke of midnight, shall be pulled from their sleep by strange invisible force, through the looking glass into the Wonderland beyond, and their ultimate destiny shall begin.

Disclaimer: Yes, this is a Persona RP. However for any fans of the series, know that there is no Calendar System or Social simulation this time. Instead, this is more akin to an adventure RP rather than the Modern-fantasy slice of life you've come to know. In that respect, you could say that it's more like the Persona 1 and the 2 duology, being more of a standard dungeon crawler than anything else. The Pacing of this RP will be treated as such, and will not be as slow as the usual Persona RP formula.

The Social Links ARE still existent however, as characters interact with one another. But it'll work a bit differently compared to the games, so as to keep with the RP's general pace. Despite being the Wild Card, the Social Links do not necessarily have to be developed, grown, and completed by Alice herself. (Except the Alice Social Link and the Mad Hatter Social Link, as the latter is an "Auto-Link" that will develop itself as the story progresses.) Instead, they are your characters' arcs, and can be developed simply by growing as characters and interacting with each other. Alice's role as the Wild Card, this time, is simply to help on that end. Alice will gain the usual reward upon those social links becoming completed, but so too shall the respective character of that link be rewarded as well for the progress of their social links, likely with new abilities they are able to perform, ala Persona 5's Confidant Abilities.

Let me also state that, although it had a similar theme with this, albeit it only in the existence of Rei and the first dungeon, I would like to stress that this has NOTHING to do with Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, nor, if it happens to be released during this RP, Persona Q2. The concept for this RP was originally made before Persona Q came out, the fact that this RP involves Wonderland, and Persona Q having a Wonderland Dungeon in it, is purely coincidental. As such, there will be no mention of its godly antagonist, no mention of Zeus, no mention of the Alternate Yasogami of that game, and no mention of Rei or Zen.

Furthermore, Other than the mention of Kirijo Group by name, there will be no characters from any of the games in the series, save for Igor himself.

We are however borrowing Persona 5's Light and dark spells, "Kou" and "Ei", to replace the Hama and Mudo spells respectively. Light and Darkness are no longer Insta-death spells therefore, instead they're simply damaging spells like any other.

For everyone else who has no knowledge of Persona but finds this RP interesting: This here is essentially an Adventure RP through a naturally chaotic Wonderland, but one that focuses on Character development as a priority. As you develop yourself and your bonds with your friends, you will gain more power for yourself as we journey Wonderland.

For the sake of everyone's convenience: We will be using the Persona 5 Skillset. The list for it being Here.

3. Respect the decision of the GM (Myself), and the Co-GM (Petulant)- WE are the dungeon masters, and WE are the rule-makers. However, we are reasonable and willing to negotiate if you have any problems.

3. Casual Section rules apply- A Paragraph per post at the very least.

4. Post within one week of the last post, or get left behind- I've personally had an issue of this as of late with players of my other RPs. So please understand that me and Petulant are going to be particularly strict with this particular rule.

Now, just to be clear: That's not to say we'll kick you out if you missed it that one time. It simply means that we'll move on to the next cycle of posts without you. This train stops for no one. That being said, consider your failure to post as a strike. Fail three times in a row, and we WILL kick you out.

We are, however, a reasonable duo. If you PM us in advance that you will be gone for whatever reason, we will keep your characters safe and yourself unpenalized by the absence until your return. Failure to PM us in advance, however, will result in the 3-week clock counting down regardless. We do understand that there are situations where things suddenly happen that are beyond your control. For example, maybe your computer's fried and you have no means of getting to the RP Guild as a result.

5. You must start off with three weak abilities.- Then you shall gain up to 17 new ones as you progress. Me and my Co-GM, Petulant, will be the judge of when and how far.

In addition: When you evolve your persona to its ultimate form, as a gift of congratulations for it, you are allowed to give it a Unique Persona ability. (Like the third forms of the Investigation Team's personae in Persona 4 Golden.) Me and Petulant will be the judges of that as well however, as the rules of no god-modding still apply.

7. D.S.G.S. (Do Shit, Get Shit)- Basically, the Law of Causality, or Cause and Effect, applies to this RP. Every action you can make has a Reaction and a consequence, be it a positive or a negative one. There will be many times in this RP where you will have to make a choice, and depending on the situation, that choice could put you in an Advantage, or it could put you at a disadvantage, or even kill you if you're not careful. Some of the shadows in this world are incredibly powerful, especially one in particular, and we will not pull our punches in that respect.

While the rule's title may be interpreted as "stuff" rather than "shit", understand that I meant what I typed. You do shit, You get shit. You choose to do something foolish, you will pay for it. You choose to do something risky, expect us to follow through on that risk as you attempt the reward at its end. You choose to do something that you are warned is suicidal, you won't walk out of there in one piece. The consequences of your actions will be played out by us, and shall not be deemed as God-modded. So if you don't make your choices wisely or carefully, then there's a good chance you WILL die.

Still, there is no need for you to worry. If you have a good sense of survival instinct or at least a good amount of Common Sense, you will be fine. Plus, of course, it works the other way around as well: You make a Good choice, and you will be rewarded for it, like striking at an enemy's weakness giving you an advantage.

8. For now, the RP will remain open until the Social Links are filled.- After which, the RP will be permanently closed unless a person drops out.

We've actually discussed this, me and my Co-GM. As far as we know there's no particular theme to use at this time. This could change sometime today when we discuss it with each other, but at the same time, might not. For now, just assume that we have no particular Persona theme this time. ^^
