I cannot - for the life of me - manage to manually turn off my PS4 by pressing the button. My damn cat, however, manages to hit it every single she even bypasses the console.

My kids found an old Barbie TV from when I was a kid - you know, the kind that was huge and boxy with a tiny-ass screen - and my daughter said "No, mommy, TV's are flat." Another parenting fail.

My kids don't understand what a (computer) mouse is or how to use it. They keep poking and swiping at my monitor. I have failed as a parent.

My short and slightly awkward post is short and slightly awkward, but it is a post. I freed you (BladeSS4) from my interaction, as I know I will not have the time to post for a while. Go nuts, if you want.
Saturday is my grandmothers birthday, Sunday we are going to a theme park, Monday I have to go shopping for my son's baptism/my wedding, Tuesday my son goes to the eye doctor, Wednesday my daughter is going to the ear doctor, Thursday my daughter has therapy (for serious; therapy for a two-almost-three-year-old) and Friday I'm just going to kick back with a beer and enjoy life for a day, so it'll be a week before I have the time to post again.

@caliban22
I did see your sheet and look at it, but there isn't really enough information yet for me to make have issues with anything, so I'll wait 'til you have the full sheet and give you a proper review. I hope that's all right.
Well, I guess I best head out then wouldn't want to keep you out here. Sorry once again for interrupting your vacation training.” was the final words of the boy. He seemed as if he was ready to leave, but hesitated a bit, obviously out of politeness.

It was no trouble. It's kinda nice,” Haruka she said softly, her tone growing fond at the last sentence, “”It's been a while since I had a real conversation.
And it was the truth. Since leaving her home, the only conversations she had had was brief exchanges with vendors and when asking for directions. She could not remember the last time she had actually felt anything even close to a bond to someone, but she was quite sure it would be a while before she did again.
With a small wave she turned her back and was about to leave, only to look back over her shoulder, “I'm Haruka, by the way,” she finally introduced, remembering that the boy had told her his name at the beginning of their conversation, “Hagane Haruka of Konohagakure no Sato,” she elaborated, “If you see me on the streets, come say hi and if not, I'm out here every morning at the crack of dawn,” she added with a grin splitting her face and showing off her missing front tooth.
Unlike her new buddy, she was not very polite and left without waiting for a reply. She was not running and he could still easily shout her out if he wanted, but she was not going to stand around any longer; she really was starving.

Kind of. No Computer, cell screen is cracked all to hell. Getting it fixed tomorrow. Using my friends laptop right now so I don't have access to it much.

Sounds terrible. Good luck with that. You're not in any kind of rush (at least not from me/us), though, so don't feel pressured. Just wanted to know what to expect.

@The Mad Hatter Yeah, still here. A combination of relatives and a stomach bug have stopped me from posting. Should be able to get back at it tonight, tomorrow at the latest.

I just had a stomach bug last week (partly why I vanished) and the older little one has it right now (two year olds do not know how to properly vomit; the just do it whenever) so I totally feel your pain.
Also relatives have been going on here, too. I have no less the 7 (SEVEN!!!) birthdays to attend this month alone. So I feel your pain there, too.
Don't rush yourself; make sure you're up to it before you start anything.
@The Mad Hatter Yup. I'm here. Just posted actually. Waiting for Halvtand now.

@The Mad Hatter Im still around. Been working on my next post, I'll have something up soon.

It's all good. I just have this curse on me that every time I get a bit busy, people start dropping from my games like flies, so I'm just making sure.
@BladeSS4@NobodiesHero@LordVoldemort@Yuuta
Just wanna make sure y'all are still around?

Who's up for posting?

@Cu Chulainn@Afro Samurai@caliban22
Are you guys still working on sheets?
Ouch, looks like it would hurt a lot. Yeah I wouldn't be climbing any mountains either if I was hurt like that either.” the boy stated with a wince. Haruka only shrugged. She barely remembered how much it had hurt. She had been rather preoccupied at the time, trying to get to Suzaku. Hell, she barely remembered anything that happened, other than him lying on the ground.
No matter what, it was years ago by now and despite the fact that the scar still hurt quite badly on some days, she barely even noticed it was there for most of the time. It mainly just served as a reminder that she was not as invincible as she had once thought and that death followed the path of life she had chosen.

It seemed as if they both disappeared into their own minds for a few seconds and when Haruka's mind returned to the surface again, she caught a glimpse of something in the eyes of the boy that made her feel a tinge of comradery. That glimpse of understanding.

"Well it seems we both had similar ideas, I came out here too to train like I said earlier. I was going to go to the mountain to train myself, and maybe catch a bit of game while I was at it. I haven't been in Gobigakure long, I figured it would be best to get some training done. You're from the village too right?" the boy asked, seeming a bit unsure whether it was okay to ask her that or not. She somewhat understood. Gobi was a place of entrainment, after all. A foreign shinobi in Gobi likely meant that they were there for pleasure rather than business.
"Well if you are, would you like some help with your training?" he then offered.

Haruka seriously considered the situation for a moment. She had been asked directly if she was from the village and she was nowhere intelligent enough to muster a proper lie, should that become a necessity, so telling the truth was the only option she had. Being hung over really did not help her ability to think. Of course, Haruka had no idea if this was what the boy meant, but with her limited mental prowess, she never even considered that he might mean something else. “Actually,” she began, rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly, “I'm here on, uhh, vacation, I guess you could call it.” The tinge of pink that rose to her cheeks betrayed the sort of coy tone she was attempting to use. “I've been here for a little while, though,” she added for good measure.
She really did not feel like training any more. She actually just wanted to get something to eat; her stomach was stating to ache a little bit with hunger. “And no thanks to the training tips; I'm just about starving, so I think I'll just head back to town and grab a bite at one of the restaurants.
Alright, anyone working on a post?

Yes, I am. I have about half of it written, which is honestly just sad 'cause that isn't even very much, but shit has been hitting the fan at rapid intervals lately.

<Snipped quote by Halvtand>
Im waiting on Mad Hatter to post. I guess I could post but I was waiting for his character to respond to mine.

I WILL have my post up today. I'll just have to take the time to finally get it done.
Also, this will be a complete chock to you, but I'm actually a chick.

@Shard
I have looked at your CS, but in all cases of custom techniques and KG, Halvtand and I must spend a while discussing shit, insulting each other and linking shit to each other as proof of our points.
I am sorry to hear that you are feeling excluded. That is obviously not the point of a community.

I have been forum RPing for about 15 years and most of them has been on this site. Sadly, there will be times where none of the RPs already made really tickles your fancy and yeah, you're gonna go through some rough times being a first time GM and starting your own roleplay, especially if you're going for Advanced, where people usually like to check their partners before actually joining anything.

I had a look at your profile and the threads you have started and I can honestly say that there's just isn't quite enough information, even for an interest check, to really catch my attention in either of them. There's a pretty picture, a somewhat catchy name and the very least of basic information given. If I had seen one of those, I would have bypassed it, too.

Now, with that said, I do believe in giving people chances and that everyone can write, so if you're up for it, I will RP with you. I'm a bossy lady, though, so you might not like it. I'm into none of the fandoms you like, but I do like myself a good Fantasy or Superhero RP. You can have a look at some of my previous stuff by going about 3 years back in my history, because I've only just started really RPing again since I had my first kid (I now have 2). This also means that I don't post very often. You're lucky if you get two posts a week and getting a post a day out is a sheer miracle (it has happened a lot lately, though).
@The Mad Hatter RIP Hatter. And to answer your earlier question, the characters do change each Part. There are cameos and appearances of characters, however. The second-most reoccurring and my personal favorite character (who just so happens to be from my favorite part) is Joseph Joestar.

That sounds awesome, TBH. I'll give it a look.

So, I don't know if this needs to be said or not, but better safe than sorry I guess.
You should all feel free to populate the village with people, places known events and other phenomena that makes it special. You'll have something to write about and at the same time you help the village come alive.

YES! Do this! Build the world, make it beautiful - or ugly, if you feel it!
I'll start working on some stuff, too, when I have time to spare. I'll write my post first, though. Which I will try and squeeze out sometime today.
Also, good luck Hatter. I'm a teacher so I know your pain.

I'm very sorry to hear that. You will be in my prayers. Just hang in there; summer vacation is right around the corner.
