MIA for another week, pharmacy once again doesn't have my meds ready and without them I can barely function so from tomorrow onwards I'm gonna be away while I try and get it sorted

As the group approached, a dark-haired elf descended the stairs and bowed in greeting to them. "Mithrandir, Bane, Serena." he greeted the three that he recognised. "Lastannem i athrannedh i Bruinen. (We heard that you crossed the Bruinen)."
"But..." Kili began to protest though he couldn't finish his sentence as Fili grabbed his cloak and pulled him after the others who were already running behind Gandalf down the mountain.
However, they were then put in a predicament because they found that it soon ended in a cliff, and they had nowhere left to run to. Thinking quickly, Gandalf shouted to them. "Climb the trees, quickly!"
"But how on earth did you get past the goblins?!" Kili asked, astounded that the hobbit had managed to escape the tunnels alone. "How indeed!" Dwalin echoed, wanting to know just as badly. "Yes, well..." Bilbo cleared his throat awkwardly and slipped the ring subtly back into his pocket, hoping they wouldn't notice.
Gandalf however it seemed had noticed, though he didn't say anything and simply shook his head. "That doesn't matter now, what matters is he is back, and all in one piece!" "It matters!" Thorin insisted in a growl, stepping forward. "I want to know!" turning to face the hobbit he asked. "Why did you come back?"
The dwarves all looked to and fro in surprise, as if they had all only just realised that the hobbit wasn't with them. "Well, I thought he was with Dori!" cried one of the dwarves. Though at that shout Dori looked rather offended. "Don't blame me, I'm not his babysitter!" he protested.
Meanwhile, Bilbo had just managed to escape Gollum and the goblins by turning invisible when wearing the ring he had found on the floor in Gollum's cave.
"Go? What do you mean 'go'?!" Kili repeated Maleficent's instructions back at her, though ran as she had nudged him to. "There's only one thing that will save us now," Gandalf clarified with an explanation, ushering the other dwarves towards the exit also. "daylight! Run, all of you!"
"It's a long story." Kili sighed as he looked at the halfling. "From what I know, there was something that happened between them. A broken agreement or something, before I was born. Thorin says that the Elves asked them to do some work with metal and jewels for them, but when the work was done, the Elves refused to pay my kin rightly for the work they had done, so my kin kept the gems." the young dwarf shrugged slightly. "The Elves tell another story."
The dwarf prince growled angrily under his breath and shrugged his cloak further up on his shoulders as he turned around. "Very well, then. Let's get this over with." he muttered as he still glared at Gandalf, resigned to the fact of having to accept the Elves' help, but not liking it one bit.
With shouts of surprise, the dwarves clamoured to keep hold as the entire bridge that they were standing on plummetted far below, they all landed in a pile at the bottom, with the planks of wood all on top of them. Groaning loudly, they tried to get up and brush off the debris. "Well, that could have been worse." declared Bofur matter-of-factly and trying to make something cheerful of the matter. At least they were free of the goblins now.
However, no sooner had the dwarf said it, than the goblin king's corpse collapsed directly on top of them. "Oh, you have got to be joking!!!" Dwalin hollered angrily as the dwarves squirmed out from underneath the body.
It was then that Kili looked back behind them as he heard the scurrying of thousands of feet heading towards them, and saw a mass of snarling, hissing goblins heading directly for them. "Um...Gandalf...!!" he yelled to the wizard.
"I do not believe you!" the dwarf prince spat, and looked as if he was going to turn around and head back down the pathway they had just left. "Thorin, wait." Kili protested. "Maybe we should just go. We could get food, rest..." he didn't dare mention the thought of getting advice from any of the elves, as Gandalf had suggested, because he didn't trust the Fair Folk any more than his uncle did.
