MIA for another week, pharmacy once again doesn't have my meds ready and without them I can barely function so from tomorrow onwards I'm gonna be away while I try and get it sorted

Beorn hung back as he watched the group warily, waiting for the right time to speak as it clearly wasn't now.

Beorn gave a quick nod of his head, setting the axe down against the tree stump he walked past Gandalf and Bane back towards the house. "Yes, I suppose we should. I should meet this other 'company' of yours, and introduce myself I would imagine."

"She can't be." Thorin shook his head quickly. "She was never there, she wouldn't know what it was like."

"I wouldn't know." Beorn shrugged. "I keep to myself, I don't bother other people and they do not bother me." he eyed Bane warily, the man was behaving very strangely and he wasn't sure of him at all now.

"Serena, wake up!" Thorin shook the mage's shoulder in an attempt to rouse her, even more unnerved when she started rambling under her breath about some strange fire and greed or some other such thing.

"I don't know..." Thorin admitted, biting his lip slightly as he used the end of his sleeve to dab at the sweat on Serena's face. "Bilbo, go and get Bane, or Gandalf. Either of them, maybe they know." the dwarf prince suggested.

Beorn growled softly under his breath, seeming rather unsure about the group now that he knew dwarves were involved, but hearing mention of Thorin's name piqued his interest. That was a name he had heard before. "So, Oakenshield has stepped out into the light again."

Balin's brow furrowed in thought as he tried to remember if he had ever seen anyone in a similar state before. "I'm not sure, laddie..." he admitted, "I think it's quite a common thing for Elves to do, and did Bane not say she was half-Elven?"

"Company?" Beorn picked up his axe again and eyed them suspiciously as the other man mentioned more people. Of course he remembered very little, if anything at all, of chasing down the very same group in his bear form the night before. "What sort of company?" he thought he recalled scenting dwarves at some point and he could only hope that the short-legged folk were not the company of whom they spoke. He had never been fond of them. "Not dwarves, are they?" the skinchanger asked in a growl.

Thorin shrugged his shoulders as he shook his head in confusion. "I don't know, maybe? I don't understand all this nonsense about energies and what have you. Ridiculous elven magic."

"Creatures of Mordor?" Beorn's brow rose as he regarded Bane's words. "And what, pray tell, would creatures of Mordor be doing this far to the west? Mordor is no longer ruled over by the enemy of the past, why would creatures still serve under its banner?" though the way in which he spoke betrayed that the skinchanger didn't necessarily believe the apparent rumours that Sauron was no more. In fact, he had heard whisperings of an altogether different kind though now was not the time to be mentioning them. He did not yet know these guests, or their intentions, and whether they were in fact who they claimed to be.

Thorin blinked in surprise and quickly hurried over to crouch beside the hobbit as he looked over the mage in alarm. "She was fine last night..." the dwarf protested, trying not to panic to avoid upsetting the others, though he couldn't help but be concerned that perhaps Serena had been more ill than they thought. As a dwarf, whose people had little knowledge of such magical healing, he knew next to nothing at all of healing trances.
