David whistled as Ant Girl gave the ma - Keith - a piece of her mind. Looks like she was idea of them being hit by guns very much, but at least they were just rubber bullets. Well, it didn't matter to him though. Normal guns wouldn't even be able to puncture his skin. The rubber bullets that grazed against his skin did little to let him worry about his health - although he did worry about damage to his clothes. David turned to the twins. "Hey there, I'm David. Since it's obvious you guys are applicants, can I ask if you guys have fought him already? If you haven't do you mind telling me who's going next? I don't want to trouble you by getting in the way," he said with a grin. "I can always go last, anyway. I don't have anything else to do at the moment."

When Annie recommended they split up, she wanted to protest, but she had a point; that was the better option and in any case, Seren can and should be able to handle herself. There was no room for being weak in the group, it would just become a bother for everyone involved. She nodded her head. "All right, I will cut it off from the front, and you chase after from the back," she said. "I have a way of reaching it faster, and you can direct the way it goes with your bolts."

Meruin clicked her tongue, slightly irritated, though it was hard to tell for those that didn't know her. She moved forward without waiting or asking for Euphie to bring down the water barriers and walked right through them as if they weren't there. It was a spell that removed prevented a concept or 'reality' from touching Meruin. Right now, she had chosen on the concept of 'water' - so right now, she was actually dying from dehydration. The moment she walked passed the barriers, a sick looking Meruin tapped the ring on her finger, and at once she looked healthy again, if a more than a little fatigued. She shot a glance at Euphie and Deus. "No disturbing me," she said succinctly, and placed a hand on his chest. She began chanting quickly, each word easing his wounds and slowing down the depletion of his life force. Of course, this would not be enough; she would ask for Deus help afterwards, but right now she was simply stabilizing his condition so he didn't die immediately.

You see. The gauntlets send you and those around into a state and dimension, where no time flows, yet anyone inside the circle can move. Imagine Bakugan but with Wizards. 2) Since no time flows, no injuries can be received, but yet you can be defeat. The gauntlets will trow up a stage from the person who was challenged minds. E.G. Throwing up a track, for a running contest.

I was thinking it could work like this: The gauntlets have a special tie to the area they're on, and whenever they activate them, the gauntlet 'saves' the point in time when they're activated. Once the fight is over, the time resets and they're back to how they were before. Because of this system, you can't actually grow stronger or change physically during fights, but you retain all knowledge, memory and experience of it.

@Bornlucky Amala Khan - Accepted @Prints Avoid Hugo Gaspar - Earthbending is a different ability from Lavabending (he can bend the earth in lava, if he so wishes, but only if there is actual lava around, which is unlikely) Edit this, and he's accepted. @Izaka Sazaka Li Shengshun - Accepted, but note that his Psyker abilities will be limited to energies only. @Kafka Komedy Yosuke Tsukino - Not many problems really, however his swordplay skill; he either makes swords or knows how to use them properly, it can't be both (unless knowing how to use them is not an ability gifted to him by the Angel, but that would make little sense given his status as a NEET) Decide on one then I'll accept it. Does this mean the birds flying in the sky, the clouds, or . . . ? Give a bit more detail, and she's accepted. @malmshodes Santiago Orzc - How strong is is Biokinesis and how does it work? What does his Black Flame negate? These need more explanation before I can accept your character. Anyway, these aside, I just realized that most of your characters are mentally and socially unbalanced xD This is going to be wonderful . . .

"I need to stop this fight," answered Meruin. She turned away from Dues and faced Euphie. She didn't even budge despite the tremor of the ground. "Under control how? His mind is breaking down and it only gets worse the longer you fight. Stop baiting him to continue fighting and end the fight now." Meruin inserted a small silver ring on her finger, and glyph glowed above it, completely unnoticeable. She gave a tiny glare to Euphie. "I have half a mind to stop this fight by force, because leaving things to chance is not in my nature. Explain to me what you plan to do or I will do just as I said and end this."

Meruin stared on. The fight was getting more intense, not to mention more dangerous which was not a good thing. Meruin knew how the gauntlets worked, she even knew how to modify them or make a different version, so it was almost impossible for either of them to come out physically harmed. No, the problem here was psychological scarring. Marcus might permanently keep this new and disturbing personality, and that was something she could not allow. When Liz unchained the seal on the elemental bound to her and allowed her to fight in her place, Meruin decided that now would be a good time to step in. "Liz, please, stop," said Meruin. It was part-ways a request, part-ways a command. "The fight needs to end now, not for your sake, but for Marcus own. Besides, I'm sure you don't want to reveal all your trump cards in just this one fight, correct? " A magic circle began glowing beneath Meruin, and she faced Marcus. "Calm down, Marcus, you're not thinking straight. You'll end up hurting yourself if this continues."
