Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Wick How many zombies are around the school currently?
Felix Standfield

Though his entrance was promptly ignored, Felix couldn't blame them. Another young man had arrived, and apparently this was a reunion of sorts. Moreover, it sounded like he had some pretty bad news. Given all this, he could excuse his presence not being noticed. He wasn't petty, after all. In all honesty, he felt for her, but it wasn't his place to comfort her.

Suddenly, another woman arrived, carrying with her a crying little bundle of absolute joy. Strangely enough, it seemed she recognized the other two, and Felix was starting to suspect he had accidentally stumbled on someones rendezvous point.

Shrugging his shoulders, Felix approached the new woman, and patted her on the shoulder. "Alright, alright, I can see this a little reunion of sorts so lemme hold the door for you while you catch up on old times," he said with a grin, before gently moving Kat out of the way and slamming the door shut with both his hands, before turning around and leaning on it. Somehow, he still had enough leverage to keep the door barred.

"Go on now, take your time, I could do this all day," he said cheekily. However, there was not a trace of doubt in his voice. He meant what he said, even if it sounded like he was kidding.

A distance away, two girls stood over the kneeling form of third. They looked away, towards where the newcomers were, The one on the ground held her hands together in a kind of prayer position. Suddenly, her eyes opened and slowly she stood up to face the same direction as her companions.

"I didn't expect for there to be so many . . ." her voice was a whisper, barely audible to the normal human ear. "I had no choice. Given their circumstance, I could only ask that they partake of the Shade's flesh."

One of her companions "tch'ed" in annoyance, before facing her. "So . . . how many bit it?"

"If you're asking how many died, mercifully, none. If you're asking how many ate, then three, probably."

The last girl sighed in relief. "That was less than expected. That's good then. Now that they're here, and've seen this world, they can't turn back, but at least, some of them we don't have to be dragged into our world. They'll be more adjusted than most."

"In any case," said the one kneeling earlier, "We should get there soon. We will need to control their Awakening."

With a nod of tacit understanding, the three of the sprinted off into the distance.

For the girls that partook of the Shade's flesh, the moment it touched your lips, you felt something resonate deep inside you. It was a reaction so profound that the next few bites were taken practically on reflex. You knew that you just had to devour this. It was more than just survival now. Something about the meal you held in your hands called out to you, telling you something that you were not sure you understood, but craved now, no matter what.

As it passed through your throat and entered your body, you felt your blood run. A black sensation coursed through your body until it built up into a sweltering heat. Suddenly, a sensation of pain more terrible than any you've ever felt before assaulted your senses. It was as if all the pain in the world had gathered into your body and expended inside of it, threatening to burst you from the inside. It felt as if your whole existence was being killed slowly, leaving behind something . . . else. Something raw. Powerful. The old you was dead, replaced by this thing that looked like you, but felt like so much more.

And then, you truly did burst.

From the perspective of those who did not eat the Flesh, a wave of heat so intense radiated from the bodies of the other girls. The heat burnt through their clothes, leaving them naked and bare to the world, their bodies exposed and shameless, yet more terrifying than before.

The girls who had undergone this drastic transformation felt it. The need to use their power, the need to push their new-found ability to the fullest. And in front of them were the perfect test dummies.

The shades who had so terrified them, and hunted them mere moments earlier now screamed. It was an inhuman sound, and yet, it sounded terrified. They turned and fled, moving as fast as they could. And yet, to you, it now seemed as though they were moving in slow motion. You knew, that if you wanted to, you could catch them, and make them pay dearly, even with your bare hands.

The instructor looked at Yuri with a look of utter disbelief.

"Listen kid, there's all kinds of bull--" he stopped himself with a cough, "all kinds of lies you can tell, but the worse ones are the obvious ones. Don't tell me you're actually serious about that?"

Once they got to the disciplinarians office, the man opened the door and ushered Yuri in. Waiting in a chair behind a long wooden desk was a middle-aged looking man. He was rather plump, with a receding hairline and graying hair. His eyes were lined with stress, and his expression was severe.

"Ah, Gio, another one today?"

"Assaulted another student sir, right in front of a teacher. Says he was trying to defuse the situation," he said with a shrug of the shoulders. The disciplinarian looked at Yuri with the same expression as the instructor did earlier.

Grumbling, the man brought out a stack of papers, in-triplicate. He signed his name on them, and wrote something down before handing it to Yuri.

The letter said "Notice of in-school suspension, due 35 hours of community service. Student is unable to take classes and/or field trips, and all activities held during said suspension is marked '0' with no make-up", and below it stated the reasons for the suspension. T

"Sign here please," he said, tapping on a line that said "student name & signature", "not sure how much good this'll do for kids like you, but try and reflect on your actions even a little.

Miss. Lora looked at Louis and nodded approvingly. She drew a small arrow next to it and wrote the words "joint class".

"A good question um," she paused to look at the clipboard in her hands, before looking back at him, "Louis, yes? Currently, we are understaffed due to a recent shift in school policy, so, in order to make up for the lack of teachers, some of your classes will be temporarily jointed with other grades or sections."

"Anyway, I shouldn't take up anymore time, as I can see your math teacher waiting outside. Remember everyone, no staying behind after school, and head straight home!"

The day passed by quickly. The first two classes were as expected, with nothing interesting occurring outside the occasional screams of frustration over particularly difficult questions. Then came Small Unit Tactics. The instructor that entered their class was short, but stocky, and it seemed another section had gathered outside of their classroom.

"Good morning students, and welcome to Small Unit Tactics. Or SUiT class for short. I'm your instructor for now, though our schedule as of current is not permanent. My name is Armand Tan, and I answer only to Sir. Tan, understood?"

He picked up a chalkboard and wrote down three words:

- Action
-- Reaction
--- Initiative

Putting down the chalk, he turned to face the class. "Now, while my class has its own specifics, what I want you to know is that all Noble Arm classes are based on being able to properly achieve and obtain these three things. If you know what action to take, how to react to any given situation, and how to take the initiative, then you're pretty much set for life, never mind being an Arms Master. Still, being how this is a class, I am in charge of teaching you how to attain these three things for certain situations. Understood?"

With that, he asked that the class bring their PE uniforms and step outside.

"Head to the locker rooms and have a change of clothes there. Afterwards, head to Quadrangle A. Late comers will be penalized."

Outside the class, it looked like the section they were merged with had already changed. Judging from the trim of their uniforms, a dark green, they were a younger batch than they were.

After a few minutes, the class had changed and most of them had arrived at the quadrangle -- exempting some students who decided they would skip the rest of the day -- and the instructor took role-call. Once he was finished, he announced:

"Okay, for today, we are simply going to create groupings, before going through some basic drills. Nothing too complicated, however, this is going to be graded. As for the groupings, I want you all to form groups of three. I advise you to avoid pairing with friends, however it is not prohibited!"

At once, the two classes scrambled to get teammates, and predictably, most of them paired up with people they were familiar with.

@Vongola_Hasayo about my CS?
@banjoanjo Yeah, why? In fact, I think your reply is the only one I'm waiting for before the next GM post :)

Also, Winnie is barely alive, so she got two options: die horribly, or eat the meat :D
Felix Standfield

Felix watched as people scrambled in terror. He watched as human civilization evaporated in the face of an unexpected terror. It was enlightening, the things he could see by simply taking a step backwards and simply looking at the situation for even a moment. The things humans did to survive where limited to nothing. The darkness of the human soul was truly brought out in times like this. The desperation and utter carelessness by which they acted truly brought to light how idyllic their past lives were.

He watched as a man was mugged by a family of three for the little supplies he had.

He watched as people ran by, ignoring the scenes of rape and looting around them, brought on by desperation and insanity.

He watched as justice lost its place to necessity.

It was almost enough to convince him that morality had no place in this world were survival was tantamount. Almost. If the apocalypse brought out true human wickedness, then the opposite would also hold true. It was in these dark times that the strength and innate goodness of the human spirit was brought out.

He saved those people, the ones he saw risk life and limb to assist those in need. The ones that ignored the disasters afflicting them to give whatever helping hand they could. Felix had a thought, that if these ones were the only ones to remain after the apocalypse, then perhaps it was a good thing that it happened. The world would be a better place for it.

Getting up from his seat in an abandoned restaurant, Felix walked out, unmindful of the screaming and running around him. There were several zombies, but they were a fair distance away. Finishing the last of his drink, he stalked out, one hand in his pocket, the other resting his crowbar on his shoulder.

Entering a nearby school, Felix began looking around for things he'd need. Chalk was one, and so were textbooks. Those would be useful for later. Much later, if his estimate was right. Once he was inside the building, two girls suddenly exited a room, ending up right in front of him.

"Woah there, slow down, you might hurt someone," he said nonchalantly, as though the apocalypse wasn't occurring and it was just another normal day.
