Kushizu Ienari

"That sounds like a plan I can get behind and the thanks for the added boast". Kushizu smiled and got up. He liked Ataru's plan, even if it was different then what he is used to. Normally Kimiko would be in the lead with Ataru in the back supporting the team. It could throw the other team off or make it easy for them to win. Though with Kimiko as the flag's defender, getting their flag will not be easy. Granted that is if Kimiko agrees to the plan that is. Since he kinda doubted that since Kimiko was their strongest, that she would like to be a flag defender. Still, Kimiko may surprise him.

Then he heard Daichi say begin and Kushizu watched as Mizo immediately rush on to the field. Followed by Hoseki shortly behind her. "Frick, looks like we are on", Kushizu rushed on to the field and stood in between the other team and the flag. Noting Hoseki's fiery display as fire moved towards them and around them. This guy does not care if he burns the whole field down. Which Kushizu would rather not get burned the day before the chunin exams.

"What are they planning? Kushizu said under his breath as the fire raved. Preparing himself for a fight, Kushizu did a series of hand signs, used the Water Release to summon weapons made of water. Specifically, a sword made of water and held it in a defensive stance while his team gets into position. Kushizu in a way was a counter to Hoseki in that his fire techniques are weak to his water ninjutsu. Still, he is more of a bruiser and Kushizu may not last long against him if he lands a hit. But, Kushizu fighting style is around dodging attacks until an opening presents itself. So as long as he can dodge Hoseki's attacks and Kushizu is confident he can. It will not be a problem. Just needs to wait while his team gets into position on the field and then the game can really start.

Vlario: A Colony Alone

Vlario: A Colony Alone

It has been two years since the once grand Mitkir Empire that dominated much of the old world continent of Aislira collapsed under internal strife. Leaving its sole colony of Vlario alone on the distant Muur continent alone. Having to adjust to now being on its own in a hostile land now that the natives are taking advantage of the lack of imperial support to raid Vlario, it has become increasingly hazardous to venture outside of the colony without outside help from Aislira. Under the capable rule of the former imperial governor Lycaon Katsaros, Vlario had managed to stay stave off the natives and survive so far despite the increased raids made by the natives. Unfortunately for Vlario, crime has started to become a problem for Vlario, and the colony's security force is stretched thin as it is. So far, Vlario is stable despite its problems, but for how much longer is a guess. Unbeknownst to Vlario, something is stirring in the jungle. Something the natives fear, something long thought to be gone is returning to Muur and whether Vlario can survive it is up to fate.

Overview

This is a character rp set in the fantasy world of Iomia during the equivalent of the early 16th century. Meaning that while firearms are allowed but, they are primitive enough that bows, crossbows, swords, etc are still viable weapons and firearms are now gaining ground. So only an arquebus and wheellock pistols, if you need an example of what kinds of weapons or armor is allowed, look up what early conquistadors had, what they had you can have within reason. Also, Muur is this world's equivalent of South America so expect jungles, heat, and unique wildlife.

In this rp you will be playing either a local colonist, a refugee or someone with a reason to come to Vlario. That has come under the employment of Nicusor Mihnea, a local noble that is making a team to aid him in his interests in the colony. Which will take you across the colony and eventuality into the Muur interior.

While having to deal with four factions in the colony. The Heirs of the Commonwealth are a group of revolutionaries that failed their jump-start their revolution in Aislira and have come to bring their revolution to Vlario. House Váradi are formerly powerfully house from Aislira that seeks to regain its prestige in the colony. The Followers of Voi are a cult that follows a fallen god and has a mixed history in Aislira that is fleeing religious persecution in Aislira. And then the mysterious Muurian Pact, a native group that is rumored to have agents in the colony.

Since this rp is focused on Vlario and Muur. You have the liberty to make up what you want for Aislira as long it fits with what I have for the Mitkir Empire. Magic is considered a myth and if it did exist, it has long since died out.

Sirvan Nouzari

Name: Sirvan Nouzari

Age: 16

Appearance: Short black hair with gray eyes and with coffee-colored skin. He is an average height for his age with an above-average build. Sirvan dresses modestly but, a bit minimal based clothing due to his clan's culture. Along with having a tattoo of his clan's symbol on his right shoulder which he keeps bare of clothing to show it proudly.

Background: Sirvan's family used to be a clan of nomadic horsemen called the Nouzari that had decided to live in Phetop decades ago. It was his grandparents and others of his clan that made the effort to gain citizenship and integrate into Phetop's society. Where his clan would settle in a district in the southern part of the city, near the southern gate of the city.

When it became known that Sirvan had the potential to be a sorcerer was met with mixed reception from his clan. For after an incident with a magic-user before the clan moved to Phetop. The clan has seen magic with disdain and which after moving to Phetop. This has lessened somewhat but, the stigma remains. Thus, some of the clan started to stop seeing Sirvan and shunned him.

Sirvan himself thought of being a Sorcerer was one with distinction and was excited to learn more and to use magic. Sirvan found that he excelled at and earn high marks with his teachers. Ever curious about magic, he read as much as he could about the magic disciplines while learning to use the different disciplines. Which his proudest moment was when he managed to summon his tutelary ahead of his classmates. Now he hopes to be inducted into one of the Cults and continue his path to becoming a Sorcerer.

Personality: Sirvan growing up has always been an inquisitive person. Curious about the world both inside and outside of Phetop. He tends to like to study alone though he does enjoy the company of others. Along with being rather kind and friendly to the people around him. He holds his clan in high esteem and is proud of his heritage but, won't preach about it likes some of his clanmates. Also, once he sets his mind on something, it can hard for people to dissuade him from that task or idea.

Aptitude: While at Presedjet, he has the experience and has daddled with all of the magic disciplines. He shows most promise with pyromancy, favoring controlling lighting over fire. Also shows promise in telekinesis.

Tutelary: Being named Amata and taking the form of a large falcon with kyanite gemstones for eyes. Since Sirvan summoned her, Amata has treated him like a loving sibling. Making he does not forget important things and likes to spend time with him. Also, the occasional teasing to get a rise out of him. Amata also so hates cramp rooms as they restrict her ability to fly and sometimes rests on Sirvan's shoulder while he is walking.

Aura: The excitement of discovering something new, a warm and pleasant sensation.

Once again Kjell had woken up early in the morning in a cold sweat. Once again he had that dream of what happened to his sister and his role in it. Breathing heavily as he tried to calm down. Ever since the accident, he has had this dream caused by his guilt that even after six years it is still strong. After calming down, Kjell took a look at his watch, six o five am. This would not be the first time that his dream would have woken him up early. Kjell signed as thought about if he should stay in bed or not. He could try and rest for an hour and get up at seven or get up now. "Screw it", he said out loud and got out of bed. He may be tired but, at least he will get one more hour to prepare before classes start and he was a morning person anyway.

It did not take long for him to get ready for the first day of classes. Kjell left his apartment with his normal attire. Black jacket with a while grey shirt along with his necklace. Which had a special meaning for him. For his necklace is a nordic compass and was given to him by his grandparents. As to help him find his way in the world and it is like a lucky charm for him. Something he considers he needs in order to forgive himself over the incident with his sister.

After arriving at the university, Kjell found that he still had some time before his first-class started. Which he did not need to scout out where it was since he been here for a year and knows well enough where everything is. So with nothing to do, Kjell headed to the university's library. Kjell tends to visit the library when he has nothing to do at the campus and spends his time there in between classes. Sometimes to get some homework done but, most of the time read what he thought was interesting to him. This time it will be a history book that he found. Taking a sit in one of the many chairs of the library and started to read. He does not normally read history books, Kjell finds history, okay but, some topics do interest him. Like this book about the Winter War and Kjell would stay here for some time. This second year is expected to like the first. Which something he is prepared for and is looking forward to.

Kjell was born in Stavanger, Norway, and the eldest of three. His parents were middle class and own a small hardware store. Growing up Kjell was content with his life and would form close bonds with his family. Particularly with his sister and it was when he was ten did he show interest in astronomy. Always curious about the stars and would spend nights looking up at the night sky, finding constellations, and wanting to know more about the stars.

Things were looking bright for the family, until when Kjell was twelve. When his parent's bank accounts got hacked and someone stole most of their money. On top of that, the family had to close their hardware shop after losing customers to the hardware regional chain Clas Ohlson. Now having to live off of welfare and the possibility that they may have to move given the high cost of living in Stavanger. His father fell into depression and while he tried to hide it from Kjell and his siblings. It was clear the state of his father and Kjell could not help but, feel about his father. While also worrying about the future though he tried to be positive.

By the time he was fourteen, the family had moved to Bryne and had started to recover. His parents found work and things were going well. Then an abrupt accident involving his sister and left her in a coma. Kjell was distraught over what happened since the accident was his fault. He could not forgive themselves for what he did to his sister and started to doubt himself. When she finally woke up a month later, Kjell was overjoyed at the news. While she recovered fast, she was angry at him over what happened and a rift started between the two. Kjell thinking that he deserved this and for a time did not know to rebuild the ruined relationship with his sister.

For years this went on and he clung on to some hope that maybe he could salvage relations with his sister and it seemed like she was starting to forgive him. Then Kjell suffered a falling out with his best friend and it was a explosive end. It left Kjell to think about things and it affected him deeply. After graduating from high school, Kjell earned a scholarship to several collages and under his parents wanting the best for him. Recommended him to go to Thames'Edge University in England. Which he thought it would be fun to study aboard and moved to London. So far he is enjoying himself in London though his grief and self-doubt have not left him. Still, he hopes that he will get better down the road and fix the relationship with his sister.
