Late, I am going to be late! That was the worrying thought that was going through Cole's head as he moved his way to Doctor Stanton’s building. Waiting eagerly for his cab to reach his destination as he looked at his watch. 7:53 PM, "Frick, I am going to be late," Cole said under his breath. This would be the first time him being late, and right now, it would be nice to have someone to talk to about his problem. Though all he can do is wait and reflect on what caused this situation until the cab stops.

It was another nightmare, and this one was different from the rest. Not what he experiences in that nightmare that was the cause for worry. Despite seeing her again, it was the length that troubled him. The nightmare seemed to go on longer than normal. Or what seemed to be normal for him after years of having them. This time f it felt like it went on forever before he finally woke up in a nervous sweat. All the while, she was watching him, of course. She always watched him during those nightmares. Even somethings say something that he now can understand. But, this time, she was just quiet with an oddly big smile on her face.

She and that smile, that frickin smile. Cole does not understand. What does she even mean or represent, and these accurse nightmares mean as well? Some underlying unknown element of his psyche, and all he wants is these nightmares to end and her gone. Yes, getting help combined with fighting it his way did lessen the nightmares. They still haunt him, and this latest one made it rather difficult to fall back to sleep. Good thing he did not have work today, or that would have been miserable. So he had that going for him, at least.

Though he should not have gone boxing today, yeah, it felt nice to start going at a punching bag and let loose but, his lack of sleep combined with his regular bout of boxing just made him more tired. Which after getting back to his apartment. Cole was just going to lay in bed for a bit and rest his eyes. This short rest that was meant for ten or thirty minutes turned into a four-hour nap. Cole had no problems sleeping then, and when he woke up feeling a little refreshed. Did he realized that how late it was and that the therapy session was going to start soon. So he quickly made his way out of his apartment, making sure to lock the door and flagged down a cab.

"Finally," Cole said softly as the cab finally arrived at the building. Making sure to pay the cab driver before leaving and power-walked towards the building. Not bothering to check his watch as he made his way forward. Stepping inside and went to press the button for the elevator. Waiting for the elevator to arrive, and took the time to check his watch. 7:58, "uh, I am actually going to make it." Sounding surprised, he thought for sure he was going to be late. Guess things worked out despite the bad feeling he has. Cole started to relaxed a bit, Taking the time to crack his neck before the elevator arrived. Getting in and punch in the level for Doctor Stanton’s office. Leaning back at the wall of the elevator as he waited for it to reach the office.

Once he arrived, Cole stepped out and noticed that only Mia. Is she late too, and where is everyone? Then that bad feeling he felt became more prevalent and but, he tried his best to ignore it. For what could be so wrong to warrant such a feeling? Walking to Mia, "Hey Mia, and do you know where everyone is?" Then he heard voices coming from Stanton's office. Curious, Cole elected to investigate before Mia could respond and what he saw stunned him.

What remained of poor Doctor Stanton and just stood in place as soon as he saw the remains. Like a statue with a look of fear on his face. Then through the shock, he tried to force himself to think and wonder. Who or why in god's name would anyone not just kill the doctor but also arranged him like this. Cole moved forward in order to see what message was left behind. What in god's name does that mean, and what is the point of this?!! Is this whole display a message, and to whom? Nothing makes sense.

Cole, at this point, decided to look away and lean against a wall. It was clear he was scared. His breathing was tense, and after a moment of silence, he spoke up. "We...we got to report this to the cops. They need to know about this and find whoever did....this." Then he remembered that Mia was still in the hallway and probably unaware of what has happened. Shaking his head to focus and he forced himself to walk back to Mia. With a scared expression on his face, "Mia... it's Stanton, he is dead, and I am pretty sure you do not want to see the body."

"Yeah, I guess that is all we can do", sounding disappointed. As he went back to packing, Zane could not help but feel anxious about this. This is an important quest for Erin, and not only would she be considered a theft which honestly does not seem like a big thing given the situation. More importantly, What Ares will do to her which he does not want to imagine that. Knowing that chances are he will not be coming just made him feel powerless. Like he can only watch and hope that Erin's quest goes well from the sidelines. That she recovers the dove, and her name is cleared. That and everyone returns home safe and sound. Zane wants to help Erin with this but, the only thing he can do is pack medical supplies for them. This seems small if nothing goes wrong but, the supplies might be helpful if anything happens. Still, he would rather be with Erin on this but, that is not his call. That is Erin's and hers alone. He is not going to force the issue, Erin is dealing with a lot right now, and more pressure is not needed.

As Zane went to gather some medical supplies, a thought came to him. Who in the gods' name stole the dove in the first place? Why go through the trouble of stealing a dove from Aphrodite? It is a symbol of power, sure but not a weapon like Zeus's Master Bolt or armor like Hades's Helm of Darkness. What godly power can be done with a bird? Unless there is some ulterior motive which who knows what that could be. Maybe sticking it to the gods or something. Though chances Erin and her group will be the ones find out that. Zane had a small smile at the thought, Erin getting revenge on whoever stole the dove in the first place. That will be good to see but, seeing that is not going to happen. Just a tale the Erin and the group might share once they recover the dove. If things go well, that is, and boy does, he hopes everything goes well. Zane is not sure what to do if they fail.

Getting his mind off the fact they might fail, Zane focused on packing the rest of the packs. It gives him something to do, at least during this mess."Well, Kalinda, if you need anything, just say something. You too, Vivian," Turning his head briefly to Kalinda before focusing back on the pack. "Otherwise, we got meds to supply, and who knows when Erin is going to head out."

"Yes, go down, you filthy demons go down," Cole said under his breath with vigor as most of the beasts died. Though more thanks to Adrianne's powers and a well-placed grenade. That and Stukov's blessed shotgun rounds did a number on the one he was facing. Still, their combined firepower did wreck their ranks. Now a Chaos Spawn is left, and now it tires of simply watching the battle in the rear. Cole aimed and let out a volley of lasers, and it did not seem to faze the thing. Like the rest of the team's firepower only seem to annoy rather than hurt the Chaos Spawn. Then came the quills that the beast launched at them. Cole was able to take cover behind a pillar to dodge most of the quills. But, just before he was safe, two quills managed to badly graze his right leg. Cole gritted his teeth in response to the pain. Briefly looking down to inspect the damage and it was not something a doctor could not fix.

Quickly, looking back to the fight and saw that Stukov was rushing forward with only a chainsword at the Chaos Spawn. No, no one is dying today, you crazy. Cole thought as he tried to think of how to bring that thing down. Since lasers or bolters seemed to have no effect on it, he did not have anything on him that could damage the thing but, then he remembered his krak grenades. Looking down at them and then back at the Chaos Spawn. Surely something meant for a tank can hurt that thing. As he was about to pick one up from his belt, he saw Medaira holding one. Then he started to think quickly. He does not want to hit Stukov by accident, and maybe since she is obsessed with explosives. She might have a better skill with that grenade and land it on the Chaos Spawn. Even if she is rather eccentric and he questions her sometimes. So Cole decided to put faith in Medaira's hands. As the sudden sonic blast went off, Cole could hear music being played. He watched to see what would happen with his hand on a krak grenade. Just in case the first krak grenade does not work.
@Kino End Yeah misread the part about actions and it is edited now. Now, what about talents? Do I need to change stuff?

"Yeah, let's start packing, they might not need it but, who knows what they will face while trying to find the dove. I do not want Erin and whoever she brings with her to be unprepared." Gods knows being prepared would have helped Zane in the past but, he does not want to think about those memories. Going down memory lane would not help Erin out and certainly not him. Zane had to focus and went moving around the infirmary, gathering medical supplies. Though now that he thinks about it, he has no idea of how many people will be going with Erin. Zane paused for a moment while holding pair of gauzes. That would be nice to know but, for now. Zane went about packing a basic amount for each pack. Making sure to not overpack and make everything nice and organized.

It was when he was done packing his first pack that the thought of who will be going with Erin came to mind. Probably not him then if Erin does plan on taking those that she trusts. Though Erin never leaves camp, Zane never really got to know her or talk to her much. Just the occasional hi then and there. So that means one less healer on the team, and he looked at Kalinda. As for Kalinda, Zane does not recall Erin and Kalinda being close or anything like that. So probably not her either, so that leaves out another healer. There is a good chance that this quest will be healer less, and that made Zane uneasy. Sure they may be packing medical supplies for Erin and her group, and they might not need them. But, if things go south, he would like to know that an actual healer was with them. Zane sighed heavily, so at least some there could help them if these supplies are not enough. Still, at least he can say he did help Erin in this way though a small part.

As he started packing his second pack, he turned his head towards Kalinda. "So how many do you think we sure pack? I am guessing Erin is not going to bring a big entourage for this quest but, I do not want to go too overboard."

"No problem, and sure Octavia," Zane nodded back as he took Chaos in his hands. Noting her the frown on her face when she left, maybe he should not have talked about Erin's situation, what a frickin mess that is, and he can only guess how Erin feels right now. Accused by the gods of stealing Aphrodite's dove and they were not even sure why Erin was accused in the first place. It might even just a way for Aries to get back at Hades for some offense. Who knows and but, at least she has the support of her fellow campers. Knowing they got her back must Erin mean something to her and from the group that he saw around her last. There is plenty of volunteers to help her in this quest, and Zane might join them. However, it is up to Erin who would be coming with her.

Back to the furry ferret in his hands, Zane gently patted the creature. Feeling its soft fur on his fingers. It reminded Zane that he should check up on Nevaeh sooner or later. Get her out of the cabin and get a chance to fly around. He knows how nasty she gets antsy if she stays inside for too long.

"Yeah, no problem, Kalinda," when she came to take back her pet after the few minutes he had with Chaos. It amused him that Chaos had its own leash and the fact that there were leashes that small. A new thing you learn. Zane listened to what Kalinda said, and as for his thoughts. Zane crossed his arms, "well, it would be nice if at least one healer went with them if we can convince Erin of that. If not, then yeah, pack whatever they could need and then some. Since it is Erin's life on the line if they fail and Erin gets to be on the receiving end of Aries's wrath." Zane slightly shuttered at the thought of Aries unleashing his wrath on Erin. No way she would deserve that and who knows what state Erin would even be in after that. Maybe dead, maybe wishing she was, or something worse. "So let's get some medical supplies going and make sure that whoever goes with Erin is prepared for anything."
