Issac can be described as a friendly, driven, and laid-back person. Who generally likes being with people even though he at times likes to be alone with his own thoughts. However, he can be stubborn on certain topics and if he makes up his mind about something important. It is hard to dissuade from it. Also, Issac has a love of nature and loves to explore new places. His job as an archaeologist satisfies this urge. Which he tends to carry a journal with him to sites and writes down his personal notes about a site. Along with a tendency to be careful as he grew older, especially on-site after a certain research trip to Mexico that almost went south for him.

Background

Born in Huntington, West Virginia, and the eldest of three. Early in his life, Issac showed an interest in the world around him. Exploring, collecting, and wanting to learn more about the world. An internet that his parents encouraged though they had to stop him from digging up random people's property. His interest turned into a passion for both history and, down the road, archaeology.

Which when he was done with high school, he enrolled at a local university and was able to get his bachelor's and later master's degree. Managing to get a job as an archaeologist and would go to several sites after one in Mexico. He learned to be careful after a while at a dig site in Mexico. When he heard about the discovery of a stone temple in Antarctica, he was amazed when he found out and was among the first to ask to join the expedition to study it. Getting his spot on the expedition and now seeks to carefully study this temple in order to learn about the culture that once lived in the frozen continent. Unwaware of what will happen to him

Background:

What is your job Former Soldier
Backstory: Born on the Isle of Man in Douglas and the first of four. Aleyn had a normal life growing up in Douglas and grew close to his family. He was planning on being a craftsman like his father and inheriting the family business. It was while working at his father's store when he would meet his future wife, Paaie Hendull. Which the two were married in 1908 and moved out into the countryside. There, Aleyn would have three children and live a happy life. Then World War One reared its ugly head. Aleyn was among the first to be drafted for the war and would greatly miss his family while deployed on the continent. Four years on the Western Front proved to be a challenging experience for him. After seeing the horrors of war, and would fight in several battles. The biggest being the Battle of the Somme and he would later fight in the second battle of the Somme.

When the war was over and Aleyn was sent back to Britain. He was allowed to leave the army and return back to his home on the Isle of Man. Joyfully returning to his family, he thought that life would return to normal. That only lasted two months, for one day as the family was having dinner. The only warning they had was two loud knocks on the door before it was forced open. Soon a creature attacked them and Aleyn tried to protect his family only to be sliced up and tossed aside. Knocking him out, and the next thing he knew, he woke up in a hospital. Turns out one of his sisters was going to surprise Aleyn and his family with gifts that night. She would find him barely alive and rushed him to a hospital. When he inquired about his family, Aleyn was told that only he survived, and he was devastated by the news. He was not sure of what attacked his family, and he sounded kinda crazy about how he described the attacker. Aleyn tried to find any information he could find about what killed his family.

So far into his search, Aleyn could not find what killed his family, and it was during a bout of drinking alcohol at his home that a message came for him. A letter that told him that he was invited to a meeting of the Nachtwache. Curious about who would invite him and the nature of the meeting. Aleyn would travel to Germany to find out more about this group and see what they have to offer him.

Andrés Moruga

Even with mostly strangers, the night was going well for Andrés as he sipped his drink. He was not expecting much, but it tasted quite well. Maybe he should hang around here more, though his mother may disapprove. Still, it was a good night, and it was pleasant to find good company at this hour. However, he did plan on reconnecting with Cori sometime but for now. Andrés was just going to take in the night and have a good time. He had not had much time for that so far on the Isles since coming back, and it was nice. A good night to end the day, and he was all for it.

Azul Days

Azul Days, a name he has not heard in years. Of course, he remembers it, and it was one of the few things his father did not ruin despite trying at times. Still, Andrés was walking around, seeing the sights and remembering what Azul Days were about. He had left his mother and sister with their permission to walk around and see the sights that he had missed for years. He will return to him sometime tonight, but for now, he was alone with a smile on his face as if he could feel the excitement in the air. It was always nice to see the expression of a surprised tourist on the Azul Days. They rarely expect it.

Taking it all in was something else. Like reliving an old memory, Andrés was surprised at how much it stayed the same. But with some new people and there was nothing like it on the mainland city he lived in. The excitement, the joy, and the everything. It was a bit overwhelming for the returning local, but he persevered as he walked around and saw the sights. It made him miss the island life that he had been separated from for years. Then, the thought of why he left returned to his mind, and things started to sour.

So he calmed himself and brushed that memory away. Now is not the time for bad memories. Now is the time for Azul Days, one of the few things he can recall with happiness and joy growing up. This night will not be ruined by reminders of why he left the Isles and his father.

Andrés realized that he needed a drink and started to walk around looking for some vendor who was selling some. He eventually found one but noticed that a woman near it, a foreigner by the looks of it, had just been rudely bumped into by a tourist, and her hat fell off. Andrés, seeing this, almost instinctively, reached down and picked up the hat. Then he presented it to her and spoke in English, "Your hat, miss."

Hey this sounds like a really neat idea. I'm assuming it would be a international group of scientists right? Chartered by the UN maybe? I've got a couple character ideas to work with in the old noggin, but what sort of people do you think would be interesting if they got launched into a adventure like this?

Yeah, it would be an international group and, I suppose, chartered by the UN. That would be a good question, I will be doing an archaeologist that would be amazed yet confused being sent to a Green Antarctic. But, maybe someone who would be awestruck with visiting a Green Antarctica or would just be in disbelief at the start. That is just my thoughts, but I think any would work. Either way, I am eager to see your character.

I know I am past my two weeks, I just have not been in a good writing mindset lately, but I will try to get a post out this week if I can still play as Slade.
