Either RolePlayerGuild.com is glitching, or everyone is studiously ignoring my PMs.

Good night, all!
Vert partially absorbed the warg, and the warg bit her beastly tongue. Ivan stood up and raised his sword and shield. Kaite half-drew her sword, the naked blade glowing red in the firelight. Xen got to his feet. Vert finally managed to bite the warg in twain, but they all knew that wasn't the end of it. "A frontal assault ain't a clever way to die," Kaite drawled, "but by all means! Is that all y'got?" She splayed out her arms, taunting the enemy to attack while keeping her senses focused. Xen, on the other hand, chose a more subtle approach. He slid a small blade from his robes and waved one hand toward the fire.

"Everyone, backs together. Stay close to the fire."

As the party retreated toward the fire, they could feel another, darker presence coming. A sinking feeling of dread filled their hearts, as if tonight would be their last. Agony nipped at their heels and despair crept up their backs. Sight began to fail them as the light of the fire shrouded their eyes. It began to dawn on them that there were more than just wargs out there in the forest.

Kaite, for one, did not take things lying down. She shield-butted the first warg that lunged at her and cracked its skull. A second one closed its jaws around her arm. Kaite shrieked and gutted it from throat to sternum. Just as she ripped her sword out, a third warg raked its claws through her armor. Her sword slashed across its face, ruining its eyes.

And the battle had only begun.
Recruiting a friend of mine to play the Warlock. Stay tuned! ;)

Certain players have expressed to me that they are feeling ignored IC, and I have noticed it to some degree myself. Hawlin, for instance, often finds that her posts go without response entirely, and I noticed that those of her posts that *do* get a response are barely touched on.

RP is fun when players take an interest in each other. It's all part of being sociable in general. Can we all try to be more aware and engaged with one another? That was the real premise behind this RP - to make the plot simple enough so players have room to develop it themselves.

You make your own plot. Develop your characters. Take action. If all we do is react, the RP will never move if I don't keep throwing things at us (like a random Warg attack, which I still feel was a cringeworthy move).

You and Hawlin both have been having it rough lately. I hope you guys get well soon.
I'm not sure if adding mention tags to posts send notifications when added in post.
Though Everyone is kinda mentioned to one degree or another.

*shrug?*

Adding mention tags seems to send notifications where normal replies don't.
Yeah, XenoCyanide seems to be preoccupied lately.

@XenoCyanide, you can pick up wherever and whenever you want as if you were there all along. In fact, this goes for everyone - if you get left behind, just pick up where we are now and don't worry about retroactively explaining what you were doing up to this point.
No other wargs seemed to follow the one. Still, one could feel their presence, watching, sniffing, hating. Your hair stands up on end. They are still here.

Captain x Tomas, I ship it and I ship it hard.

Captain x Gorman is more plausible, as you'll eventually see. ;)

The Champions of Hope bickered on until the evening. The sun dipped below the horizon and carried the orange sky with it. Soon, darkness fell over the camp, and still the Champs bickered over strategy and who should come up with one. Their quarrel was interrupted by howls from the north. It was not the howl of wolves, for it was too deep and throaty. It was the howl of wargs, the fell creatures of the tundra and servants of the dark one.

Wargs only howled after bringing down prey.
