Pokemon: New World

Amy Idolum

Location : Tefan Village

Amy cracked her neck twice and looked at the village she knew as her home. Even tho' she was not born here, the villagers treated her as one of their own and as Amy's mother reputation spread in the village, everyone came to her for advice. That was Amy's life before her mother died. Now, alone, she was ready.

Amy packed everything she had and put them in a backpack. It was time for her to get a Pokemon. The breeder's house was on the other side of the village and Amy quickly left so that she can still make it to the next village while there was still day. Traveling at night was dangerous or so her mother taught her. As she walked to the breeder's house, villagers smiled and while others stopped Amy to give her an apple or two. It would crush Amy's heart to leave the village she loved but she had to leave, the tug of destiny called her.

Soon she arrived at the breeder's house and knocked. A few baby Abras could be seen playing inside and soon a strong voice could be heard from behind the house : " Amy ? Is that you ? Come in the yard ! " that was the breeder's voice. A big guy that was a trainer in his days or so people said.

Amy circled around the house and saw the two Blazikens she knew since she was born. Alp and Malp as her mother called them. Alp waved at Amy and Malp was sitting near a small Torchic that ran around her parents not caring for anything in the world. Amy smiled at the breeder and said " Oh' my God. That Torchic's so cute ! Is it a boy or a girl ? "
" It's a boy, Amy. Now, approach him and let him get to know you. "

Amy approached the Torchic, smiled and went on her knees. A hand in front of her that bid the Torchic to approach her without fear. The Torchic suddenly stopped and looked at Amy's hand and approached without fear. " Torchic ? Torchic ! " said the Torchic as he saw that Amy was no danger.

The breeder nodded at Amy, signaling that it was time for the Torchic to get inside a Pokeball. Amy looked at Alp and Malp and said " I'll take care of him. I promise. " with a confident voice. " Blaziken ! Blaziken ! said both Blazikens in the same time.

Amy looked at the, now running around her, Torchic and took a Pokeball from her pack and looked at the Torchic.
" Torchic ! Hop in ! " yelled Amy as she threw the ball at the Torchic that suddenly stopped when he saw Amy talking with him. The Pokeball hit him and a bright light appeared, the Pokeball moved a little and then the red button on the middle of it stopped beeping.

" Torchic ! Come out, boy ! " said Amy as soon as she put her hand on the Pokeball and the Torchic exited the ball.
" Torchic ! Torchic ! Torchic " said the happy Torchic.

Amy thanked the breeder, said her goodbyes to Alp and Malp and left. On the road, her Torchic was her at feet looking around but not leaving Amy's side. Amy looked at the open road in front of her and with a cheerful face said to the Torchic :
" Your new name will be...Ignis and now, it's time. " and with those words they started walking.

Their journey began.

Biography: Amy was born on the road. Her mother was a courier and she never knew her father. When Amy was born, her mother was on a contract and she took shelter inside a barn while she gave birth to Amy. Soon after, her mother retired from her job and finally settled in Tefan Village where she got a job as a trader at the Poke Mart. Amy's mother had a few of her own Pokemon before Amy was born but when she decided to settle, she released all but two Blazikens. As time passed the Blazikens breaded and Amy took care of the little baby Torchics.

At the age of 21 and a half, Amy's mother died of old age. Amy was devastated and didn't knew what to do with her life but eventually she remembered her mother's stories about the places she visited and decided it's time to make some of her own stories. At first she started going between houses in the village and then she was told to take a package out of the village. Amy didn't accepted right away because she was still a little afraid of leaving her village as she never left.

The two Blazikens didn't die even after all those years but Amy didn't took care of them after her mother died and gave them to the local breeder. Right as Amy was about to go back to her contact and tell him that she refuses the job, the breeder came to Amy and told her that the two Blazikens last egg hatched and Amy then smiled and knew what she had to do, take the Pokemon and accept the job.

Personality: Amy is the kind of woman that will help anyone that needs help without asking for anything in return. Loyal, cheerful and always ready for adventure, Amy is usually first to jump in front of danger and her curiosity often got her into trouble even when she was younger.

Pokemon Caught Ever:

Pokemon Party: For now Amy doesn't have any Pokemon but she is attracted to Fire types (as she grew up with them) and Ghost types because she never saw one and she is curious.

@Infamous Empath Thing is...I couldn't say anything about the virus it self because it's plot related. How only some super persons survived will be shown in IC (mainly arc two of the story).
So he is either immune or he is dead. That's how I imagined the virus. Something super adaptable/mortal that was supposed to kill every super person. If interested on exactly why they weren't affected, hit me up with a PM and I'll explain. _{(spoiler alert)}

Also. As I said already, healing abilities simply didn't work on the virus. No matter how strong they were or their nature.

The Infamous only actually won one battle. During this conflict, he met Dreamscape again, though for her this was the first time.

As they fought, D'ren came to admire her even more. Whenever The Infamous went out to attack someone with his power of invisibility, the Collective sent Dreamscape, usually backed up by another hero with a more aggressive power. On their fourth encounter, D'ren killed the man who was supposed to be protecting her. His super-strength was nothing compared to the ability to become invisible. The Infamous tried to kidnap her, having become infatuated with her, but she was rescued by other heroes.

@Infamous Empath Looks good. Add a limitation to his power, maybe he gets heasaches if he goes invisible for too long or stuff like that ?

Also. Every super powered person was infected by the virus, healing abilities didn't work on the virus as I said. So, he is simply like other survivors lucky that he survived.

@Infamous Empath Nemesis's powerset don't have to be oposite with the hero's/villain's powerset. Think Flash and Savitar or Batman and Joker or hmm... Arrow and that guy that was super strong from season 3 or 4 or Daredevil and The Punisher.

Their personalities usually go against each other or simply how they work.
