Ya know, I think I will drop Joel. He doesn't have much going for him really (especially since less of the cast are natives of Gravity Falls and so he has less people to mess with), and I would like to free up a slot for a potential new player.

"I know, right? 'What's a star-studded Los Angelite doing up in Oregon for the summer?' See, when I was a little kid, about seven or so, my parents decided that I should be a star and put my through a whole bunch of child actor agencies to try to get me into something. I was in a few commercials, I was an extra in a couple crime shows, and once I was a single-episode antagonist in a sitcom. Little Billy the Bully. Classic!"

"It wasn't until my tween years that I got my first role, and a leading one at that! Ted Redd: Junior Psychic. I was Ted, of course, it was a kinda half-scary action show for kids, like Gooselumps but off-brand, but man did I love playing Ted. It was a blast. Only lasted a couple of years though, and I didn't get anyone role until high school, where I was cast in a teen drama, Olander. I was Bruce, y'know, the doofy but nice jock guy, you know him."

"Anyway! I spent nearly my entire life on television, but somewhere after graduating I realized that it wasn't really for me. Sure, I liked doing it, and I still have my agent and it makes a load of money, but it was never my choice, you know? I had hobbies outside of it. I collect butterflies, bird skulls, all sorts of little oddities, but never really anything major or career-based. Some point in May, I got hit hard with that realization, and got in a bit of a funk about it. So I decided to clear my head with a roadtrip, up north and away from LA. I ended up in this weird town off the map, Gravity Falls. I love it here though! It's a really nice change to be in a rink-dink town where the population doesn't leave double digits for once in my life.

I might just stay here past the summer! Something about this place feels...right."

Ernest has a long-buried stint as a kid in a diaper commercial. It was known as the 'Bedwetter' saga. He really does not like to bring it up.

So, I've got an interest, but I want to ask; how much prior knowledge to the series should I have? I know most terms and what's happening up to, I think, part 7 exactly, so I probably won't be too prepared. I have no clue what Spin is outside of it being a source of power in Jojo. I could look it up, yeah, I just wanna know if that like, prohibits me from taking part at all. :b

In the aftermath of the fish attack, Phoenix managed to make his way off the hook, and didn't get cooked doing so. It wasn't the most graceful landing, and he was pretty sure he squished an eyeball on the dismount, but he was safe and sound on the floor. Literally. He crumpled to the wood floor once he was away from the fish guts.

"Normal...safe...fishless wood. I never thought I'd miss you so much."

He stayed for a moment, embracing the floor as everyone else licked their wounds and got acquainted, then slowly lifted himself up to his knees.

"...Wait. Has anyone, uhh, seen my shoe?"
