@hatakekuroIf Ariel had the energy to argue she would. Didn't Nolan want to avoid using a lot of magic trying to fight off Marlene? Then again she didn't doubt that Nolan would do what it took to protect her even if she told him not to.
"What kind of transportaaaah!" Nolan suddenly picked her up and jumped into the air. In a moment of panic she clung to him, not having expected to go flying.
The shock wore off though as they descended. It was still weird that Nolan was fine being around her, much less holding her. She hadn't actually seen how he reacts to any other woman yet though. That would have to wait for another time. Oddly she was invited to stay in his hotel room. Was this even allowed? Making a B-line for the bed Ariel hardly noticed Nolan removing his extra gear. Dolton however was none too subtle with his thoughts and blurted out what likely had crossed all their minds. Ariel's face also turned a deep red. But then she just dropped on the bed, not even bothering to lay on it properly. Given she was on a rather hard operating table an actual bed was like heaven.
"I'll strangle your cat later if you don't mind."Ariel really must have been tired because in a matter of minutes she was asleep. An arm and a leg were hanging off the side but that made little difference at this point. One could only guess at this point what she'd gone though. Or even was currently going through given her magic had simply quit on her. She also still had the cuffs on that were blocking magic. They would have to decide if they were going to remove them or not.
