Man I just can't stick with a DND Group. I'm aware I feel pushy at times but I never intend to push anyone into doing anything. I'm just feeling so dejected at this point.

In general I've given up play by post roleplaying. I only check on occasion due to how NO ONE commits to forum posting in my over ten years of experience.

Bio

I'm one of the surviving members from the event known as Guild Fall. I am a big fan of Mobile Suit Gundam and am very specific on what I want in a roleplay. I have completed two roleplays (one is debateable) and have over six years of roleplaying experience dating back to when I was in Middle School.

The Bakumatsu (幕末, bakumatsu, "Late Tokugawa Shogunate"), are the final years of the Edo period (1853-1868) during which Japan ended its isolationist foreign policy, known as Sakoku, and transitioned from a feudal shogunate to the Meiji government.

The Bakumatsu started with the arrival of Commodore Matthew C. Perry's black ships to Japan on July 8, 1853. Perry's objective was to incite Japan, through force if necessary, to open its borders to trade with the United States of America. In reaction to the arrival of those black ships which would end a 220 years isolationist policy, the country was divided. The pro-imperialist Ishin Shishi (nationalist patriots) fought to return political power to the Emperor of Japan, while the shogunate forces, including the elite Shinsengumi (newly selected corps) swordsmen, fought for the Tokugawa shogunate to keep its position. The country is currently embroiled with the Boshin Wars, and the assassins class with Samurai in Kyoto. The country's peasants rise up to fight the Shogunate due to the corruption in the government hampering, and destroying the common lives the peasants have lived. The Shogunate fight to protect their emperor, and their way of life. With the Imperialists seeking more power to be seceded to the courts many wonder what will happen once, or if a Meiji reformation will happen. Samurai on both sides have their heroes, and their villains and the people see an period of ruthless bloodshed as many slayers prepare to fight each other to the death.

A simple premise for a roleplay we will be playing either the Ishin Shishi, or the Shinsengumi (whoever has the most in favor) in an attempt to fight for our side in the conflict that is happening within Kyoto. We won't be really having any massive battles this will focus more on a personal setting. I will be looking for a co-gm to help with the story which will be flexible. Depending on what the rp's in this want we can veer off into non-canon with a tokugawa victory (which didn't happen in real life) or keep with canon, and real life with a Meiji victory. This will mainly focus on assassinations, and samurai on samurai combat.
He seems to be fine to me I'll accept the character. @ManyThings
Adam looked at the woman in front of him unsure about if he could trust her he glanced at her eyes and after that brief glance he figured she wasn't lying, or at least she was a passable liar. Adam sheathed his knives, and placed them back where they belonged. However he made sure the ones up his sleeves were ready just in case. Always make a back up plan. Adam shook her hand properly before shaking his head, "No one likes fakers...as one myself I should tell you that the captain respects being straight forward. Just be yourself, and the captain will let you on board." Adam told the woman who called herself Erizalla deliberately leaving out his name. However it seemed that failed to matter as his scatter brained captain strolled up acting as she usually does. "No one has called your anything Captain. You're probably just feeling tired from a long day's work. This one here calls herself Erizalla. She's interested in defecting to our ship. Yes, or no its up to you I just met her so I can't give you a recommendation." Adam said straight forwardly as he grabbed the treasure chest, and prepared to do his part to haul it back to ship.
Alright best of luck too you
@Indra Are you still in this?
There's a whole section on the interest check that had this. Grand Servants, actual gods, Servants that instant kill, Servants that permanently disable, Character who abuse Imperial Privilege, Characters with overwhelmingly strong reality marbles, and characters with ridiculously high statistics, and or skills. Too name names: Romulus, Gilgamesh, Merlin, King Hassan, Richard The Lion Heart, Artoria, Perseus, Ozymandias, Iskander, Kiyohime (Dragons), Sigurd, Siegfried, Paracelsus, Gawain, Nero, Heracles, etc.

The Fate universe is unbalanced in structure because the authors can usually do what they want. I cannot in this setting. Players are controlling the masters, and characters. Therefore I am retroactively making sure characters are moderately balanced, nerfed slightly to allow them to be used, and making sure players cannot abuse a loop hole ruining the experience for the other players. This is a base line grail war. Meant to be a straight up brawl with trickery mixed in. This is not the roleplay for giants like Gilgamesh to be fighting Heracles, or Romulus.

Servants can be strong, or cunning without being overtly broken. Case in point Arash, Okita, Diarmuid, Leonidas, Mordred, Boudica, etc.

Other servants are on a case by case basis. There is a servant who is meant to be ranked highly on the enemy side but that is because he is to serve as the 'big boss' for the enemy team. However even he is nerfed in comparison to what he could be. The point is to not let fate shenanigans bullshit interfere with a story being told among people who aren't on the same page. I can't have Cu Chulainn chucking Gaebolg half way across the forest, and instantly murdering enemy rider before they can even defend themselves. And yes he can do that. Artoria blocked it, and then got time screwed back into a hit of which she only survived because she literally rolled a natural 20 with her luck stat. Artoria herself isn't allowed not because of her overwhelming power but because she has an incredibly strong base kit, and possible healing from avalon. She even saw Kojiro's phantasm, and herself dying just a few seconds before it hit her because of instinct.
Because chronic backstab disorder, and the fact that his primary weapon doubles as multiple class weapons, and an anti-fortress noble phantasm.
Mata Hari, Drake, and Caesar would likely be allowed. Iskander Cursed Arm, Asterios, the onis, and Lu Bu aren't. Asterios's maze is a pain in the ass to manage. Cursed Arm Instant kills. Ozy is too strong. Iskander is Grand Rider, and his phantasm is too strong if he wasn't. The onis both have skills that allow them to do ridiculous things in lore.

Astolfo is fair game relatively I may reconsider due to his shield, and flight being issues. I'd need to read up on Bradamante in the wiki if I am to consider her though from what I've seen she's probably a no.
The character is a bit small bio wise but there's nothing wrong with it and I'll accept the character. @ItMeGritty You can talk with whoever you want to partner your character with.
@King Cosmos Currently Saber's has been submitted by Reflection. Its an archbishop of some sort. Cu has submitted Archer in the form of Tesla still going through revisions due to natural genius. and caster has been accepted out of the ooc. A man named SSW has submitted an app for a master but as of me writing this I have disregarded the character entirely as it is not fit for the rp until massive revisions are set. Indra has said they wanted Lancer in the Interest check but has made no move to make Diarmuid, or anyone else as of yet.
