I LIVE!!!! (Getting gradually more annoyed by reality)

Sorry for taking so long ._. I should most definitely have a post up today.

As for the situation concerning the (lack of) Onyxians, I guess I'd have to agree with Ana, and say we could try and recruit more people via IC's or the like. Hopefully they won't be too intimidated by the amount of writing we have already, though we would probably want folks who'd be here for the rest of the ride (I'm only sort of a hypocrite ;-;)

Interacting with @sMoKe (Dawnleaf)

Despite having had no sleep in the past few days, Torncoat sat ready in the morning, frowning at the tasks given out to each of his tribe-mates. After the insulting attacks on their land, this weak Koa would stand idly by and ignore his tribe's cry for justice? Torncoat scoffed under his breath again as he turned from the meeting, calling to Cinderclaw to accompany them to the southern border. Yet as he began walking away, he heard a hesitant mew from behind him, and he turned to meet the Shaman, Dawnleaf.

"Of course, Shaman. I will do everything in my power to bring you the herb you need," Torncoat fixed a convincing smile upon his lips and purred in agreement, doing his best to mask his disgust from before. This Dawnleaf had spoken to him little in the past, and Torncoat knew very little of what to think of him, but knew that it would be better to try and earn his favor than guffaw at his simple request. With a nod, he turned from the young Shaman and made his way out into the pines, Rosepaw and Cinderclaw following close behind.

"I don't know, Torncoat; I agree, but to go to that extreme...?" Cinderclaw hopped from rock to rock playfully, not taking much time to sniff out any peculiar scents. They had reached the Mossy Rocks quite early in the morning, and had quite easily found the blue ginger, which Rosepaw was tasked with carrying. Now, they lounged about in the crevices of the great rocks, chatting idly and taking their time to finish their border task.

"You understand the necessity of this just as much as I, do you not? Then you would surely want to aid me when the time comes, I would hope," the gray tom finished with a cold glare toward his companion, stretching out his front paws, revealing claws as sharp as needles. The other tom sat pondering for a small while, before finally mewing in agreement. This seemed enough to satisfy Torncoat, and he turned back to Rosepaw. Just as he opened his mouth to speak, however, he heard a distant mew coming from beyond the rocks. Eyeing Cinderclaw, the two toms positioned themselves between a few of the larger rocks to help block them from view.

Interacting with @ADParis (Shadestep), @1Hawkeyes (Hawkpaw)

Rosepaw sat idly by, blue ginger set between her front paws, her mind wandering about. She paid little mind to when her mentor spoke with the other warriors, as it often had little to do with her, and it was rarely her place to put in a word of her own. So she took little notice of Torncoat and Cinderclaw maneuvering themselves between a few rocks, instead letting her mind continue to wander before she heard the small padding of other paws from behind her. Jumping up and around, Rosepaw's ears drew back as she sighted the black and brown she-cats coming over the green rocks. Stepping back a bit, Rosepaw glanced back to her mentor - who was nowhere to be found. Rosepaw looked around again, fear slowly working its way into the young cats eyes.

"Y-- you better watch yourselves! This is AshTribe territory, ya see, 'n we don't like WaveTribe cats putting their dirty paws on it!" Though she tried her best to sound menacing, Rosepaw's voice shook as she spoke, though she stood her ground. Eyeing the blue ginger in front of her, Rosepaw batted at it with her free paw, bringing it closer to her, lest she lose it.
Aaaand, I'm back! (for now)

Hoping that my post doesn't throw a wrench into anything. Just felt like I needed to get my damn post out already.

ouo''''

you're good! that'll actually make it a bit easier for me, I suppose :P I'll have the AshTribe post up soon! I actually mean it, this time!

So...

I'm not sure what to do. Lyra seems to have poofed, and Wolfmask and everyone else is stuck. :(

EDIT: Oh, so Lyra is back after all. What should I do then? Just have Flamestorm and Nightpaw meet up with whoever? (still a little confuzzled on that).

With Flamestorm and Nightpaw, it is up to you to write out a narrative for how they dealt with the adder issue they were assigned to. The decision was to give the player(s) control of the situation, because there really isn't a whole lot that the GMs would do, other than play the snake, but that would only go so far. For your particular adder, you'll be dealing with a large Rainbow Boa that has been killing a good deal of prey around the Crooked Tree, and is the proud father of a group of smaller adders which the removers will be dealing with after Flamestorm and Nightpaw return. It isn't even entirely necessary to type out the fight scene, so long as you go over what happened and if there was any damage done to your cats.
Blaque & Jinx

Collaboration with @King Tai

It wasn't long after Blaque had began placing explosive charges around the underground bunker that they were suddenly surrounded by nearly ten toy soldiers, all of which had emerged from other cryo-pods nearby. Blaque looked over to Jinx, lifting his sheathed sword, blocking the combined attacks of two soldiers. "Hey, how are you holding up?" He asked.

"Could be better," the girl replied, her words filled with a sneering sarcasm. Though she still felt weak and a bit lightheaded, Jinx had somehow been able to stay on her feet throughout the short time she had been out of the cryo-pod. With a few swift parries, she grabbed hold of one of the toy soldiers nearby - a young boy, probably no older than eight, with various horrific surgical procedures done all along his body. Jinx wrapped her arm around the boy's chest and slipped her free hand across his throat, triggering a few pressure points to put him to sleep.

"Too bad these are just kids, or I'd be a bit more on my game," Jinx snickered, pushing a nearby soldier into a wall. Though it took a bit of convincing, she finally decided to accompany Blaque through the bunker, the after-effects of being in stasis gradually wearing off as they walked around. She thought back again, wondering just how long she had been in the freezer. "So, Mr. Blaque, this may sound like a weird question - but what's the date, anyway? And yeah, the current year would be nice, too," though she meant her tone to be in jest, her words were carried across anxiety-ridden vocal chords.

Popping one of the kids on the side of the head with his hilt, Blaque turned to look over to Jinx, watching her hold her own. She had a bit of skill as she stopped one of the children barehanded, but he wondered if she had a special ability.

From her comment, he raised an eyebrow while kicking back another oncoming toy soldier. "Hm? I know there's more to you than what meets the eye...what are you capable of?" He asked her, being able to take a breather with the kids they fought being knocked out. The moment the question was asked, he stared at her for a moment and then looked around. "It's the year 2065...September 16th... Do you remember when you were put under stasis?"

Jinx scoffed under her breath, once again cursing the deranged scientist that put her in that machine. Had it really been that long? Shaking her head, Jinx sighed as she began moving the toy soldiers aside, trying her best to prop them against the wall. "As far as I can remember, I was walking home sometime in November," Jinx hesitated, "In 2064." Dusting herself off, Jinx looked at Blaque with a coy smile. "As for abilities?" the girl chuckled, "Oh, I'm just a simple lass with a bit o' spunk, mister!"

Descending the stairs to the bunker, Weber took a moment to stand and wait, listening closely for any peculiar noises coming from his underground vault. Content with how silent it seemed, he briskly made his way down the hallway of cryo-pods. Glancing about at each of his abnormality-ridden creations, Weber frowned a bit as he worried he would have no more opportunity to try and fix them. Sure, each of them had their flaws, but the potential each one possessed... As he came to the end of the hall, the crazed doctor froze, glancing to his left.

"No... No, no, NO! SHIT!" Weber screamed, kicking at the glass that covered the empty pod. "That bitch-girl got out, too!?" Kicking the glass again, Weber turned, fury filling his face as veins protruded all along his forehead and neck. Lunging toward the door at the end of the hallway, Weber punched in a series of codes into the computer mounted upon the wall before putting his thumb to the scanner, giving him clearance to enter.

The small, isolated chamber was pitch black, the only light inside coming from the bright red bulb on the wall high above, directly over a lone cryo-pod that seemed a bit larger than all of the others outside. Stepping forward, Weber's shoes clicked against the hard tile floor, before he stopped in front of the computer that was plugged into the pod. His hands shook as Weber raised them, slowly and methodically punching in the few lines of info needed to unlock the pod. The red bulb began blinking slowly, as a small hiss escaped from the sides of the pod.

Weber, in typical mad-scientist fashion, smiled as his perfect project was being released. "Come, Nicholas... Let us protect your home!"

Willard & N.E.R.O.N

Assignment: Protect and liberate children - Interacting with @FantasyChic

Willard's eyes widened as the toy soldier charged forward, its own eyes brightening with glee as it came in for the kill. Willard jumped back, falling on his hind as the toy soldier dove, Willard's eyes beginning to glow again as he reached for his adversary. The brainwashed child flailed about as it fell, kicking at Willard, a hard blow landing on the boy's cheek. Willard let out a small cry as he fell backward and rolled away just as the toy soldier came at him again with his buzzsaw hands spinning wildly.

The toy soldier's hands fell upon the ground, digging into the wooden floor, one getting caught between the wooden planks. Pulling madly at his arm, the toy soldier began crying out in pain and fear, its broken voice still carrying the innocence of a child. Willard stood up slowly and carefully, walked up to the crazed boy, and placed his hand upon the child's shoulder. In only a brief moment, the toy soldier fell still, tears streaming out from beneath its mask.

"It'll be okay... Everything will be better, soon," Willard's voice came out cracked and broken as his breath caught up to him, his heart beating out of his chest still. Willard looked over to Misty, who had seemed to have an easier time subduing the girl that had attacked her. Just as Willard began to walk toward Misty, he heard a shouting from behind the children that were still crowded around, watching the battle.

After NERON arrived and had kept the crazed Quincy from harming the boy, Willard nodded and smiled up at his best friend, climbing up into the machine's torso as it opened from behind. As the panel of metal slid shut behind him, Willard's eyes adjusted to the dark of the metal box before a small light came on above him, illuminating the inside of the robot's body. A small screen flickered to life directly in front of Willard's face, displaying the scene from the small camera placed inside of NERON's helm.

"Are you comfortable, Willard?" NERON's voice filled the small chamber, the synthesized phrasing coming from a small speaker placed on either side of Willard's head. As the robot finished speaking, Willard felt his body shift backward as the momentum of NERON's body moved forward, slamming into the deranged chef, throwing Quincy into a nearby wall.

"Yup! Though all this fighting is making me tired," the boy yawned as he finished speaking. A synthetic chuckling cracked through the small speakers, signalling NERON's amusement. On the outside, however, the robot had fallen silent, keeping the cannibal cook at bay by continuing to pummel his body down. Quincy's attitude had changed significantly, the effects of the drug already beginning to come down and causing the chef's vision to blur.

"That's enough!!" the chef yelled out, shoving the robot off of him, surprising even himself as NERON fell back a few meters. Heavy, he thought, before jumping after the machine. NERON brought up his arm to block the oncoming blows, the force pushing him further back with each hit. The AI began running diagnostics on the chef as his scanner beamed out from the robotic helm, analyzing just how much fight Quincy still had in him.

"Willard, would you be able to suppress this man with your ability?" the synthetic voice cracked through the speakers again, rousing the boy's attention. "Uh..." Willard's voice trailed off, looking again at the chef through the screen. "Sure, if I can touch 'im!" Willard said excitedly, though he wasn't quite as sure as he made himself sound. There was a brief pause, as if NERON was lost in thought, before finally he spoke again. "Alright. I'll get you close enough," the AI concluded.

Quincy had lept back from the robot as its free arm swung around, stopping just short of hitting the wall. In a flash, the chef made his way around the other side of the robot, slamming a closed fist into the robot's back, pushing the 1000lbs of metal forward, tumbling into the ground. Willard let out a yell as he landed against NERON's side, though luckily the inside was safely padded. The robot quickly hopped to its feet to deflect the next hit; the speed wasn't something NERON had calculated, and now had to be accounted for.

The next blow from the crazed cook was significantly weaker than all of the others, and NERON quickly took advantage of the impact. In one swift motion, NERON reached out his hand to grab at Quincy's arm, using his momentum to pull the chef over and snap his arm backward, cracking the bones inside. Quincy let out a cry of pain, the drugs wearing off at an accelerated pace, bringing the man down to his normal physique. As NERON grasped the man and held him still with his free hand, the front of NERON's chassis opened, revealing the small extended hand of Willard which lightly tapped at the chef's shoulder. In practically an instant, Quincy fell still.

"Chef Quincy has been disposed of," NERON sent his update through the comm channel to the rest of the team before turning toward the rest of the children, who had watched the battle in awe and terror. "R0se, Willard and I will be evacuating the children. I trust you're handling Madame Ginger quite well?" NERON pondered through the comm link at the hacker before the AI and Willard began directing the children through the rest of the building.

Sorry!! I apologize for my absence, been getting rather hectic irl. Hopefully I'll be available this weekend so we can finish up!
To: Everyone
Subject: omigoshsorry

Quick update for everybody! Life's bein' hectic for me at the moment - as it seems to do when other plans are made - and I'm going to have a hard time being active for a couple of days. I should be available a bit this weekend, especially on Saturday, and be able to move things forward before next week begins. Until then, I leave the control of this vessel to the conjoined forces of @sMoKe and @LetMeDoStuff. May God help us all.

Thanks for understanding, everyone!!
Alright! Update first, then IC later, because I said!

Update!

I figured this is a bit of an important thingy! Since tasks are going to be pretty general throughout the RP, we figured it'd be useful to create a sort of outline-esque thing that you could all look over for when you have to write for a certain task! It isn't anything too major; just a brief synopsis of each task, and a short description of what you can do for when you're writing for it! It obviously isn't complete, and we'll gradually be adding more tasks to the list as the RP progresses, but here's everything that you'd need to know, as of now!

Like I said, this is still a work in progress, though I doubt there'll be a whole lot more added in the grand scheme of things, other than a few other Tribe-specific tasks. If anyone has any questions, still feel free to ask!
@Vashonn Am I ok to just kinda make up a couple of NPCs for AshTribe for my post? Was gonna have Rootfur encounter an AshTribe patrol. Dunno the outcome of it yet, I'll figure that out as I write. :P

Also I'm sorry for my lack of activity, I've been seriously scatterbrained and just.. oof. xD

Sorry for the late reply! Been tryin' to figure out a way to answer this. You can go ahead and come up with a single NPC to interact with for Rootfur's introduction, but I was also hopin' I could have Rosepaw and Torncoat interact with your group as well. Perhaps the NPC you interact with could be a member of Torncoat's party?

I'll try and get an IC up tonight replying to @sMoKe, as well as a quick OOC update!

Kits:

I'm not quite sure about your fourth-born - the name Quasi seems a bit strange. Also, if you could write a short sentence for each of your NPC's personalities, that would be much appreciated (I completely forgot to mention that earlier, sorry!). Other than that, I'd say everything checks out!
@Ambra not necessarily; though Flamestorm and Nightpaw will probably encounter something particularly nasty as they work their way out toward the Crooked Tree, which is important to take care of! Otherwise, there's a feisty feline about to nab Iceheart's breakfast, if I remember correctly ;D

@ADParis@1Hawkeyes Well, there might be a small border patrol out near the Mossy Stones, if you guys get there in time!
