Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Okay, I've had some time to think a bit here. I'll be honest and say I was unsure from the start about an ifrit but I felt bad about saying no when I'd suggest spirit possession in the first place. But I'm beginning to have some serious concerns about this and I'm also wondering about why you're making him unaware when he has so much power, since the unaware characters are meant to be just getting into the supernatural(@Rin probably has as far as I'd want unaware characters to start off with in terms of power).

Again, I'm sorry for flip-flopping on this like I have, and I absolutely should have decided this earlier. But I honestly feel like if he's going to be unaware he shouldn't start out with very much complicated abilities. Now if you wanted to switch him to be a rookie mage, he could be able to use a summoning circle to invoke some form of fire spirit(possibly an ifrit in a limited capacity) and possibly even utilize willing possession.
Accepted.
Ando Asami, Closer to the Origin?

Asami didn't really have a moment to respond before Hiroko grabbed her hand and pulled her towards a quieter corner of the shop, settling down there. Well, that was certainly forward. And yet, insofar as Asami could tell, it seemed to fit the blonde-haired girl with the serious expression somehow. Even if it was undeniably something that she wasn't prepared for. She drew her hand away, possibly a little more quickly then intended, as she sat down on the other side of the table, across from Hiroko. As the other girl asked about what she was doing in the city, and explained a few things about the shop and her addiction to pork ramen... well, Asami couldn't help but notice something very specific about her. Was that what an addiction to pork ramen did to the female figure?

Pushing aside such a silly train of thought, Asami quickly focused on Hiroko's question.

"Well, I came here to visit some friends," she began. It wasn't anything she wasn't used to, lying in order to maintain the secrecy of magic. The veil that divided the mundane and the supernatural was one strongly enforced by Mage society. Each circle within the larger organization had their own methods of enforcement, and any given magi was expected to do their best not to make any sort of revelation to those who were unaware. "So far, it's been pretty nice. It seems like Rokuro has the best parts of a city and a small town together."

It was then that the shop-owner hurried over. "Ah, yes... oh, you're eating with Muneyama-san? ... Well, nevermind, er... are you ready to order?"

Asami gave her a smile and a nod. "Yes, I'll have the pork ramen. Thank you."

The shop owner dipped her head and hurried away.

Shi, the Quiet Killer

Shi could only manage to weakly open and shut her mouth when a new girl suddenly appeared, claiming that she was her cousin from Poland. This left Shi incredibly confused, though she was far too nervous to do more then tremble slightly as the taller girl took her by her shoulders and attempted to guide her away. She was being touched by a stranger again, she was too close... It was obvious that the girl could feel Shi's slight shoulders shuddering against her hands. The white-haired girl's gaze was downcast as she stared towards the floor, shivering. Too many people... and... and she had to go, she had to...

The tiny girl was vaguely aware that someone, a huge girl(especially compared to Shi herself) in a nun's habit, had approached and questioned the man. Two out of the three people involved were now distracted from her... and the third did not seem like she was prepared for anything sudden... Shi took a deep, shuddering breath, trying to calm herself. There was one logical solution to her situation.

As quickly as she could, Shi attempted to pull away from the girl and break into a run.
Keep in mind this is a VERY bad time to start a fight since it's not late enough to easily cover up supernatural fights and not a secluded area.
I suppose from an OOC point of view, but IC it seems likea bad idea to antagonize someone who is clearly a Church Executor to him when he's trying to do covert murdering.

... That being said, I do have a pretty decent idea of how Shi will react when only Kazumi is paying attention to her.

That is, try and run away.
@Raijinslayer: I'm not trying to tell you how to play your character, but I will say basically revealing his intent to everyone involved seems like a bad idea right now.
Poor Shi, she's just got so many things happening around her.
Demons

A thousand years ago, the archangel Lucifer fell. Its fall was so hard, so low, that the very act of falling tore reality. A hole was ripped in the fabric of reality, and it is in this hole that Lucifer has remained. The fall of an archangel, a thing so powerful, had an effect across the world. A fundamental change came in the nature of a relatively small number of humans. Some were visibly unchanged, others drastically so. The most changed sported some animal features, or even horns, leathery wings, and a spade tail. This was the birth of demons.

Demons do not age physically in any capacity, and may look identical to humans, or sport strange features such as horns and wings, or even insect antenna. They are stronger and faster than humans, and in general they also outpower vampires. The sport a bizarre capability for restoration, where damage to their body, as well as most changes, are reverted by the demon's "personal time" reversing, restoring their body to its "standard" state. For demons who were once human, this is the point where they became a demon. For demons who were never human, this is the point where their body ceased to age. The most powerful demons may even survive decapitation. Demons may possess a variety of abilities stemming from "touch" of Lucifer. They may also possess the capabilities for magic, as humans can. There is no inherent malignance in the nature of demons, but no small amount of the originals took to rather selfish pursuits in the wake of their transformation.

Demons possess a weakness to things that are holy in nature. This is due to the fact that Lucifer became the inverse of an Archangel during its fall, and as a result demons possess the inverse of divinity. Holy weapons can surpass the restoration of demons and slay them, though the most powerful of demons can resist this provided the injury is not immediately fatal, and even there there remain even more powerful demons beyond that. Supernatural forms of harm, too, can also provide more permanent injury to the demonic.

Demons can bare children with one another or with humans, but the child of a demon is always a demon. Their birthrates are extremely low.

The seven most powerful demons are known as the Princes of Hell. The Princes of Hell are incredibly powerful, beyond all other members of their kind. Satan with the Sin of Rage, Lucifer(not the same as the Archangel) with the Sin of Pride, Asmodeus with the Sin of Lust, Belphegor with the Sin of Sloth, Mammon with the Sin of Greed, Beelzebub with the Sin of Gluttony, and Leviathan with the Sin of Envy. While they rarely act in this capacity, they are the leaders of all demonkind. Once, the Church deployed executors in a bid to assassinate the Princes of Hell, but this act is now seen as a fool's errand.
There is now a link to the universe bible in the opening post. I'll be adding to it more and more, so if you're curious please take a look!

@TheHangedMan: I forgot to mention, if you have any questions feel free to ask.
Going to try and get a post out today, hopefully.
