Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

@ERode: Summer, it's warm out.
@Lightning: Ah, I forgot to mention stuff about that.

Most residents of the town would recognize them. Makiko wears a red armband, and... it makes sense the others would wear ones too, probably orange instead of red.
For a few moments, Veileena Cal was silent. The disparate proposals did little to sway her(though seeing that rude knight do her bidding would undeniably be satisfying). Only the fact that they knew exactly what the item in question was managed to shake her. After a few moments of silence, she stepped out from behind Haelstadt once more, folding her arms and averting her eyes, a frown on her face.

"Hmph," she huffed, "Harassing me over this... I guess you have good reason..."

Fanilly was silent. Was the young Noble girl relenting in her refusal to disclose what she had been doing?

"... I hired the mercenaries to retrieve the shard because those idiots at the Mage College couldn't look past their books to realize how stupid they were being!" Veileena declared, her gaze raising back up, her pigtails bouncing as she looked upwards. "Hiding something like that because they thought it was too dangerous? Fine, but why would they think that it was a good idea not to let anyone know in case it was stolen?! A Shard of Angroron isn't something you just shut up about!"

She trembled for a few moments in frustration.

"... There's something bad going on. I've been using some contacts to try and figure out what," she continued, seemingly having calmed herself.

It wasn't exactly as if Fanilly wasn't aware of Veileena's public desires to discover what happened to her older sister. She had promised large sums of money to anyone who could help her discover the truth, though as of yet no-one had been able to find any information to resolve the matter. So hearing that Veileena had been paying people for information wasn't exactly surprising.

"Someone has been steadily weakening some of the magical defenses around the College, especially in the prohibited areas in the lower levels," she continued, "I'm sure Sir Tiral knows what areas I'm talking about, unless he's much more of an idiot then he looks."

Veileena jerked her head towards the mage knight.

"I'd already been worried about what this meant," Veileena added, "And it isn't as if I wasn't trying to research what could be going on. So when one of my contacts said he'd found someone looking for a black shard near the Mage College, what do you think I thought? I'm not some idiot villain looking to take something evil for my own."

She let out another huff.

"But before I could try and arrange a meeting with the College to tell them this, there was an attempted assassination on Princess Eliabelle and the shard disappeared that same night. So I hired the Shark to cut off the thieves and try and get it back, but when something is that evil I didn't want to take any chances, so I went myself to try and catch them if they had already fled."

Veileena paused for a moment.

"And then these stupid bandits attacked me! My plan this whole time was to take that shard and keep anyone else from getting at it, but of course these idiots show up. ... And now I can't imagine any of you will believe me, will you? No, of course not, the daughter of that bastard and all..."

She huffed again.

Fanilly took a deep breath. She wasn't sure what to make of this. The idea that Veileena, someone who had made it quite obvious that she was on the lookout for any kind of unusual information, had learned of something going on at the college wasn't entirely unlikely... but why hadn't the college told anyone about this? Was it because of the nature of the item that had been stolen? Did they fear that they would be presumed to have ill will for keeping it around? From what she understood, the shards of Angroron could not be destroyed by anything less then the divine.
Hmm, I think it makes more sense for @ERode to post again here since Aoi doesn't know where the stand is.

As for the other scene, I'll post after @easy modo does.
Still staring dully at her hands, Akira followed along, mute for a while. So she was now a little girl. A little elf girl. Why was she a little elf girl? Her understanding of the situation and why she had become a little elf girl. At no point had god's secretary turned towards him and said 'Oh right, you have to be a little elf girl'. Worse still, it seemed like the majority of the people around here had not undergone a single change. Admittedly she hadn't been paying the most attention, but it seemed that way to her. She didn't really take much notice of the animals, aside from vaguely acknowledgement of their existence, still staring at those delicate little hands. When they finally arrived at the town, she suddenly felt her mind clearing momentarily and strode forward.

"There's no point in doing anything else before we've picked out supplies," Akira declared, rounding on the others. This was a firm, logical assumption in her mind. Even if they didn't have any money they could still get a feel for pricing and an idea of the quality of quantity of items. If they had to go on a quest or whatever it only made sense to do their best to pick out the best available supplies. "The only other option is maybe checking out the inn, but that's irrelevant if we don't have the money for it as well. So doing anything aside from looking into supplies is absolutely stupid."

The tiny blonde elf folded her arms. After a moment's pause, her immediate dilemma returned fully to the forefront of her mind.

"Also WHY AM I A LITTLE ELF GIRL?!"
I think I'm still waiting on a couple people to post.
Honami Aoi

"Do it yourself?" Aoi asked, her eyes shining. For a moment, the image of numerous people, wearing kimono(and wearing a set of bunny ears, naturally) pounding mochi filled her mind. That sounded like a lot of fun! She'd never made mochi before, so the opportunity to do so just sounded fantastic! Wouldn't knowing you did it yourself make it taste better, too? That sounded like something she'd heard before when it came to food! Her antenna twitched a few times, as she gave herself a firm nod.

"Yeah, let's do it!" Aoi declared enthusiastically, smiling brightly as she did. She'd make a full batch of sakura mochi, all for herself! ... Well, and to share with others, but that really meant she had to make extra in order to get plenty for herself as well. This seemed like the perfect plan to the short satori.

Aoi's 'ears' twitched again as she detected someone else approaching, and turned her head to see just who it was. Indeed, she recognized the kitsune as another member of the Miura Youth Organization.

"We're going to get some mochi," Aoi replied, brightly.

@ERode@Lightning
@Lightning: Have to point out her hatred of her kitsune features is a little weird since she was born this way in a place that doesn't demand hiding those features. ^^;

I thought from the bio she just didn't like looking cute.
@ERode: Meanwhile Aoi is far more interested in that mochi. As tempting as it is to post with her again, I think I'll wait to see if anyone else wants to interject or something first.

@Lightning: Accepted.
I forgot to put the mention at the end of my post, and I don't think editing it in works still. ^^;
