Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

I was a bit disheartened by people not posting but I suppose I do have enough posts to continue on.
@Raineh Daze: Well, we need that cap filled and no-one else has volunteered for Assassin. ^^;
@Shadow Daedalus: Kiritsugu was effective because he was trained in eliminating magi, he had the Origin Bullets, he was unexpected, and he played extremely dirty. He had a good understanding of magecraft on top of that.

Just using a gun is surprising since a mage isn't going to expect it, but just using a gun isn't good enough to give you an advantage. Volumen Hydragyrum would have blocked any other bullets, and the same goes for your average defensive bounded fields. Reinforcing your body can let you dodge pretty effectively too.

Basically, if you want to make a Magus Hunter who uses guns, they need to have understanding of Magecraft and training in how to kill magi and also cheat all the time.
@Shadow Daedalus: ... Have to be honest, you'd have to scrap most of the backstory for it to become acceptable right now.

I'm sorry, but those aspects of the backstory, especially dealing with the rogue mage, don't make much sense to me at all. The more I've learned about it the more it just doesn't mesh with the setting as far as I can see.

Sorry again, but you'll have to rework him completely at this rate.
@Shadow Daedalus: A couple things: You understand basic Gandr is curse that just makes the target sick, right?

Also, why would a rogue magus attack a military platoon? That seems counterproductive. ^^;
Caster is completed! We're approaching having the full set of seven plus Fake Saber!

At the moment I'm mostly waiting to see what Berserker is like before I go ahead and get a pairing with Estelle.

Don't forget to get your Masters done, too!
