Enyo turned to see Tito enter the room. "Just the man I was looking for! Sit down a sec. I've got a proposition for you." Enyo looked at him a second and decided on how to best approach this. She knew he wasn't likely to stay so she had to be crafty. She sat down on the desk and crossed her long legs. She decided flirting a little couldn't hurt.

"I got the pleasure of telling Miles that his girl Cambria is pregnant. She is also more than a little hormonal. I sent him to be with her and I suggested that I might have you take his place. When I said that he appeared to be a little hesitant that you could fill his shoes in his absence." Enyo saw the look in his eyes and she could see the ego taking a slight hit. "I told him of course that I thought you had skills and would do just fine. He seemed a little bit skeptical but considering the situation he is in with being a daddy now he doesn't really have a choice but to listen to me on this one. So will you stay here and become part of the team? I know it's not usually your thing but it's very comfortable here and you will do quite well I believe."

Enyo was in the front office waiting for Miles friend Tito. "Hey Liz watch this." She turned the computer screen and showed her what video she was watching and Liz chuckled. Enyo took to the PA system again. "Tito! Dude! I need to talk to you in the front office." Liz chuckled at her terminology. "What? I live here I know how to use it right." Liz grinned and got back to work.

One of Jon's men came into the school and asked for Nikki, Matt, Kat and Jenna to accompany him to the auditorium. Eric was with Nikki so he of course was there too. He and Nikki were goofing off til they walked in and saw four bound men on stage with the lights on them.

Matt was carrying Grace and he took hold of Kat's hand. Jenna saw her rapist on stage and she froze for a moment. Nikki's expression turned into one of anger as she recognized Jenna's attacker. Jenna pushed past Eric and Nikki as she raced to the stage. She lost a second or two as she climbed straight up the stage instead of going around to the stairs. Nikki and Eric were right behind her in case she needed them. Jenna pulled her knife out of its sheath and shoved his mocking smile onto his back.

"Hey baby, back for more?" He had the nerve to chuckle. He obviously thought the others wouldn't allow her to kill him. He was wrong. Nikki put her arm out stopping Eric. "No. Leave her be." Nikki told Eric.

Jenna didn't even realize she was crying as she stabbed the man repeatedly in the chest and head. Eventually, Matt handed Grace to Kat and he ran up on stage and pulled Jenna off of the man and she dropped the knife by Nikki's foot. She buried herself sobbing in Matt's caring embrace. He had wondered when she would break. After what she had told him he was positive it would happen. He was just glad she was not alone when it did.

Matt looked at Kat and Grace. He would never let them be hurt again. He took Jenna out and asked James to take her up to her room and stay with her. James carried Jenna up the stairs. She was a total wreck. When he put her on her feet in her room she ripped the shirt over her head and ran into the bathroom to wash his blood off of her. Then Jenna was sick to her stomach. James had picked up a shirt from the pile of clothes on one of the chairs and handed it to her like a gentleman. He didn't look, even though she still had on a bra. She literally curled herself into a ball in her bed and cried herself to sleep. Her sleep was full of horrible memories from her past and she whimpered in her sleep.

Nikki signaled to one of Jon's men to take the body outside. No need to worry about it turning. Jenna had made sure there was plenty of grey matter all over the the man, herself and the stage. Matt had gone back to Kat and took Grace into his arms. He nuzzled the baby and she giggled. He looked at Kat. "Do you recognize any of them? I thought we got them all but obviously a few escaped."

Shiver looked at Sigma a little oddly and pushed through it. "Thank you for going to look for Cal Sigma. I appreciate it. As far as Omega goes all that we know is that we and the Olympian gods are the only ones to have recently jumped dimensions. As far as what we found out from the other angels...I don't know anything yet."

Kronus walked back into the room. "Actually we do know something. It appears that there were three humanoids/metas taken from a desert earlier today by a spaceship not native to the area." Shiver's eyes got big.

"Why would aliens want them? Any idea where they were going or who took them? How do we get them back?" Kronus looked at Shiver. "That's a lot of questions. Information is still coming in but it's sketchy. There is nothing you can do about it at this point though."

Jenna woke up from her nightmare in a cold sweat. The nightmares had started after she had been the victim of a sexual assault before as well. She woke up in a fetal position rocking and clutching herself in a defensive hug. Tears were streaming down her face and when she woke up fully she would see Matt watching her. He recognized the signs and said

"Jenna, how many times has it happened to you?"

She looked at the floor. "Yesterday was the fourth time since I was 15. Stepdad, two photographers and then that guy yesterday. It's okay, I'll be alright."

"You know I think Jon likes you. I think in this new world you have to fight harder for what you want. Don't let this stand in your way." He walked over and hugged her and wiped away her tears. Then he left.

She went into the bathroom and saw what she looked like. She was purple and red, one eye was blackened and her arms were black and blue from the bruising. Jenna's stomach was tender from the really hard punch to the gut she took just before the guy had gotten her on the table in the cafeteria. She thought to herself that there was no reasonable way that Jon would look at her again. She was just a pretty decoration that had been pieced back together too many times to be of value to anyone.

Matt woke up and stretched and his hand bumped the pill bottle he had brought in. He got up, grabbed his stethoscope and went in search of Kat and Grace. He found them in one of the science rooms. Grace was eating crackers on the floor by her mom's foot. She was playing with the velcro on Kat's shoe and giggling. Matt just looked at Kat. She didn't see how he was looking at her. He was looking at her assessing her wounds and noticing how even though she was pretty badly beaten up she was still working to feed everyone. He looked down at Grace who could be kept happy with the simplest of things.

He stepped into the room and said to Kat, "Morning beautiful. How are my girls this morning?" He pulled Kat's hair to the side and he handed her the pill bottle. "You are going to need these. Two every six hours. And I want to listen to your chest. I know he got you good there. I just want to make sure there isn't more damage than we already know about." Matt noticed the other girl and said "Hey, Erin isn't it?"

Matt led Kat to a chair and had her sit down and he listened to her chest and his brows creased as he did. He looked at her and said "Your lung is still functioning, but it's definitely bruised. I don't want you lifting anything heavier than Grace. I want you to stay upstairs unless you need to go downstairs to shower. I can take you downstairs for that." The way he was looking at her would have had other girls swooning. He reached out and touched her jawline and tenderly kissed her. He said quietly to her. "I want to talk to you privately later."

Grace was busy untying Erin's shoes and tying them into knots and loops. Grace wasn't scared of her or Clara. Why should she be? Matt smiled and got to his feet, picked up Grace kissed her and made her giggle. Then he handed her to Kat. "Ladies." He said as he left the room and went back downstairs to check on the wall.
