Piper nodded and smiled. At least she knew what the irresistible pull was now. Nodding she said, "How about a beer" She took a drink when he set it in front of her. "Very good. So if you don't mind my asking. How old are you? You just seem so...knowledgeable. I'm guessing you are older than you appear." She seemed to de-stress a little bit. She hoped he wouldn't catch her staring at him she was just curious about him. She hadn't ever met a witch before and she had no experience with them.

Alex was unloading the truck and helping the construction workers out back. He had already poured the concrete that they were planning on getting too first thing. He was putting the framing up on the side that was ready for it. The plumbing had already been laid and so they were able to continue right along. A little while later Alex came into the bar and put on a clean shirt. He looked over at Claudia and wondered again how he ever lived without her. Putting his hands on her hips he asked,"Hey babe. How are you doing in here?"

Day 345 4pm
Ingrid knocked on Matt's door even though she knew what was going on behind it. "Matt!" Ingrid ran her hand through her hair impatiently and she went to knock again and he wrenched the door open and came out. Matt's hair hung down past his shoulders, he was shirtless and his jeans were on but the belt was not buckled. Ingrid didn't expect to have thoughts on this but seeing him like that made her shiver just a little. "Holy shit man do ya realize ya look like a model like that?" Matt was in no mood for being away from Sasha but this made him grin a little. "Yeah well this model was celebrating his engagement so what the fuck do you need Ingrid?"
Ingrid got serious and said, "Do ya remember what I told ya about the gasoline?" Matt stood up a little straighter. "Yes, is it happening? Is it all of them?"
Ingrid didn't want to tell him. It was terrible news for them. "Aye, it's all of them. We got the engine started and then we had to walk back when the engine seized up. We've checked every car on the lot and there is nothing. It's been too long. There is a shelf life on gasoline and it appears we have hit it. That means there won't be usable fuel anywhere. We are going to have to leave the school soon."
Matt said, "Announce a meeting at 7pm in the cafeteria but say nothing about the subject matter." Ingrid went to the PA system closest. "Attention everyone. There is a mandatory meeting in the cafeteria at 7pm tonight." She waited five minutes and made the announcement again. She cringed as Matt went to the gym. Once there he bashed the bags for a good ten minutes in hopes of finding the strength to tell his love that she was not going to be safe in the school during her pregnancy but that she would be out in the open praying that she would be safe constantly and with a one year old to boot. Matt's frustration was unreal and he took it out on the bags.
Nikki had been in her room but close to the door when Ingrid had shown up. They had spoken closer to her door than Matt's and she knew now what was making Ingrid so tense lately and her stomach turned to knots. She put on some clothes and made her way slowly down the hall towards the gym. She was wondering how they were going to do this with a bunch of pregnant women and a toddler and infant. She opened the door just as Matt's punch exploded the largest bag in there. She saw him drop to his knees and hang his head. Nikki could only waddle carefully over to him. "I heard Ingrid." Matt nodded.
"I don't know what to do Nik. What if I can't protect them?" Nikki put her hand on his shoulder and he stood up and turned towards her and he put his arms around his sister for reassurance. She silently wondered the same thing. She had to get back into the gym and train as soon as possible. She hugged her brother back and said "We'll find a way."

Alex barely contained his need for her as the door slammed shut. Clothing fell to the ground, the last of it only an instant before he pulled himself back for just a second looking at her below him on the bed. His eyes were locked onto hers as he saw her consent, Alex gave into his primal need for her. His craving for her blood intensified more than it had for any other and his fangs dropped. Not wanting to scare her or force her to do something she didn't want to he retracted them. Feeding was a part of sex for a vampire and it was a craving he was having trouble with ignoring.
Kitty Kitchell
Kitty was playing out back with the dog that came by every day. It was a stray but it had looked hungry so when it had started coming by regularly she started buying dog food and a collar for it. Pretty soon it was claimed to be her dog and she had taken him to the vet and gotten him fixed and now he was on all of the things that humans determined he should be for a long happy life. She would run and play with him every day and he had stopped leaving the property a couple of months back. Now he knew this was his home and he accepted it. After a long playful session he would always knock her down and lick her face. Today was no different. The dog knocked her on her back and then licked her face. When he started growling at the direction of the woods she sat up, stopped laughing and looked around. "Charlie go in the house."
The dog ignored her and stayed between her and the woods. She caught the scent of a werewolf in the air and it wasn't the one in the house with Alex. Alex's lady smelled sweet and this one smelled musky and earthy. She picked up her larger then life dog and carried him to the house and put him inside. Her dog barked continuously when she shut the door on him. Kitty walked towards the woods and stopped halfway there and waited. "You can come out now. If you are good I won't bite."

Alex nodded at Darric before he left and he looked at Claudia. "You have a twin brother?" He opened the door for her and as she slid into the car he slid into his seat and started driving to this large house outside of town. There was a lot of acreage. "This is my home." He pulled into the drive and you could hear the pride in his voice. There was another car there and they saw Kitty running around outside playing with a dog.
Alex parked the car and opened Claudia's door before she could do it herself. Although once inside the house he kissed her and picked her up wrapping her legs around his waist and ran into his room with her. Kicking the door shut he kept kissing her like she was his life.

The Vampire he had just killed had killed the State Senator's daughter and now had vampires under serious investigation. Some of the council didn't like this so he had to be taken out. Alex opened the door to go back to Claudia. He was not happy to see her out of the car and talking to wolf. He wanted to beat him to death or rip his heart out but he knew then he would lose Claudia entirely and most likely have to fight with her and then he would end up killing her. Knowing this he held himself in check and walked up to them and slid his arm around her waist possessively.
He watched Claudia blush as his skin touched hers and seeing recognition in the wolf's eyes he nodded. "Is this guy bothering you Claudia?"
