Current The ENT doc to me: "it's not looking so good in there". I know, doc. Please fix my nose, and maybe tell the VA to approve my claim.

@Jewel - get something you can live with for the rest of your life. What is something you’d never not be passionate about? I don’t regret my tattoo; I’m removing it for another reason.

Both of them had reached the front door, and James put Lily down, looking behind him.

”I hope our guardian angel will be okay, maybe we’ll meet him." James looked back at the girl.”I wouldn’t count on it," he added matter-of-factly. That didn’t men James wished ill on him, but realistically speaking, he had just drawn a lot of attention to himself in order to help them out so his chances of survival at this point wasn’t looking too good.

”Come on, let’s get inside." The man slowly pushed opened the door with his foot, shotgun at the ready.
It appeared as if the zombies weren’t cutting them any slack.

”We gotta be careful, the shooter on the roof can’t get all of them." Lily and James both looked around as he helped her huddle over to another building with a half open door.

”We’re going in there?"

”You’d rather stick around?" he responded, suddenly sweeping her off of her feet to speed up the trip. ”We could have more coming this way, who knows."
So I posted before seeing the announcement, so maybe someone can suggest they go exploring.
“Hey, Pandora just breathe!” Denise rushed to her side, ignoring the pain shooting up her ankle. It seemed as if none of them could catch a break, with one event after the other. Denise started panicking even more—if that was possible—though this time she remained silent. It appeared as if bodies were dropping left and right, leaving those in the group feeling vulnerable, confused, and just about ready to lose their minds. In the midst of it all, Pandora had advised that them two would be pairing up. Denise noticed how it wasn’t merely a suggestion, though she was fine with it and obviously was in agreement. She was, after all, someone that could keep Denise safe on some level.

“We’re sticking together in there then,” she informed TJ. “You have GPS capabilities and that helps tremendously given our situation. We take shifts, with our partners of course, and keep all the equipment with us if we decide to make ourselves comfortable elsewhere.” Denise then looked around. “The radios, were they destroyed?” She went on to one of the equipment bags, hoping that what she was looking for was still intact. “It’s best we stay in communication if two of us go to the bathroom or something. To save battery, I suggest we keep one radio with the main group and the other one with with whichever two of us steps out of the room."

Denise then picked up a back and swung it onto her shoulder. She also grabbed some more of the equipment to hand it off to Pandora, hoping that it would somehow help her shake off whatever she just experienced.

“Hey, come on, let’s head inside."
I purposely ripped one of my bathrobes a few minutes ago because the sleeve keep sliding down my arm while I was doing dishes and it was annoying me so here I am, one item short on sleepwear. I feel crappy because I think my mom purchased this one for me. It still shouldn't have provoked me though.
Wait, what did he shoot at?
”Watch out!"

The zombie came out of nowhere, and James was sure the girl was done for. He didn’t have enough time to reach around for his shotgun, but a shot came out of nowhere and knocked the zombie back. Lily turned around in time to see the zombie getting hit. In the midst of her distraction, the girl missed a step and took a bad fall, twisting her ankle. She quickly tried to get up with James’ help but the moment she set her foot down, the throbbing pain was made apparent.
The girl looked around the room. "Watch out." She sidestepped and took a couple of shots at the window, shattering the glass as it fell into a mess everywhere in front of her. Not waiting for James to say anything further, she tucked the pistol back in her waistline and rushed towards the opening. James, a bit impressed by her quick thinking, slung the shotgun on his back and followed her, looking behind him to see other zombies breaching the doorway.
@Gunther I am exactly like that. And if my mood is less than stellar and just the slightest thing goes wrong, this is my reaction:

I keyed someone's car when they took the parking space I was waiting and had signaled for back in college. I had finals too and I got there first. 🤷🏻‍♀️
