OK we have a problem. After the battle with the Slayers and Zeref, magic is hated, feared and generally looked down upon. The remnants of the guilds like Fairy Tail disappeared and were hidden by the government to prevent the backlash from coming down on top of them. Second, no where in that back story is it covered how he's been alive for the last one hundred years.

Last 100 years? Where is that coming from? He's 28.

As to the rest of your response/issues. What specifically leads you to think that anything in his character sheet is contrary to those facts? I rather know before I try to say otherwise or change anything. Especially since I have the tendency of coming off as rude, rather than just politely refuting a point.

Whew, well that took forever, but I'm finally finished with my first character. I may make one or two more at a later date, but for reasons that will be obvious when you look at the below CS, I don't have it in me and wouldn't put the GMs through reviewing another right off the bat even if I do have plenty of ideas swirling around.

Anywho. One thing to note is not all of this CS is necessary for grading. You can read just History, personality, Mundane, Magic, and Equipment and totally skip Notable traits and Relationships if you so choose.

However, in notable traits there are strengths and weaknesses. In his case these do not include combat weaknesses. Such weaknesses should be fairly apparent from reading his Mundane and magic sections. If not I can explain pretty succinctly if you merely ask.

Side note: "Relationships," is going to get updated as the RP goes on, as will his Mundane skills and his Equipment. The Journal section is to have In Character recollections after he finishes a mission or something memorable happens that I would like to include in the CS without expanding on his base history. It's kind of an "Adventure log," which would be comparable to a Captain's log.

Side note v2: I will, once this is reviewed and accepted (with any necessary edits of course) make a simplified version to be put up on the site so you don't have to waste valuable time trying to tackle the insane amount of coding that went into this CS format's creation.

But yeah, without further ado, and I do hope you enjoy it, below is my first character, Dornae Namari~
Edit list
  • Edited his "visit to Fairy tail," to the following:
    >Dornae, as he planned to, travels to Magnolia to visit the former home of Fairy Tail. While the Guild was painted badly by most of history, Dornae's family lineage goes all the way back to their time and so they have storied not so steeped in the opinions of the last 100 years. He studies his tome on the way there.
  • Edited out the mention of the canon Harvest festival. Instead it is a generic festival.
  • Edited out mention of criminal underground.
  • Added the Scaling/Tier system.

Woo portal things!
Merc can go.
sigh

Everything else should be as it is, but the event/events that started the distrust of making, stemming from the battle between zeref and the slayers, has not been released and in fact cannot be found in any history books.

Thank you Caits~ :)

There are no concrete reasons available to the OOC public or the IC public at this time. Plenty of theories but nothing concrete. We GMs have...picked a couple of reasons that will all be revealed as the plot reached that point.

Mmnk, no problems on my end. I was just curious as my character, Dornae, is a rather inquisitive fellow. One of the things he enjoys is studying history, particularly ancient history--not that 100 years ago is particularly ancient mind you. So yeah my only other question is, "Did the age of Darkness, aka Zeref/the Slayers' slaughter of many (and I presume destruction of places here and there) result in the loss of other historical records. Such as the war with the Dragons and the like? What sorts of knowledge/literature was lost if this is in fact the case?"

I hope I'm not stepping on any toes by asking these questions. In fact, I'm only asking them so that I avoid doing just that. I wouldn't want Dornae to be studying and discover something that should not have been easy for him to find. Or to have him suddenly blurb out a fact that was inaccurate (or a plot point. Not that I'd know what the GMs have planned for the futureas I'm new here and whatnot). So yeah, just trying to get a good picture of things ^^;

You're going to need to be a little more specific. What happened is public knowledge if that's what you're asking.

Is it known why it happened? Aka, what caused Zeref and the "Slayers," to do what they did? Or is it just documented that they did "X thing" thus bringing the world to a time of darkness before they were defeated.
*In relation to the OP*
Hey, a question. Are there accurate history books in regards to what happened 100 years ago? If so, are they available to the general public?
