Mitis Forest-The Search Grows Heated

Wrath kept his great sword held up and at the ready, turning slowly and watching for the attack. The Mephisto knew it was alone and so it wouldn't be so quick to attack unless it was sure that it could land a hit. And it almost did as the golden spikes launched at Wrath from behind, forcing the Nephilim to roll forwards and spin upon coming up, slashing diagonally from hip to shoulder and staggering the Mephisto again. It wasted no time in countering itself, unleashing another wave of golden spikes as soon as it recovered which had him dodging once more with a short dash to the left. Jumping up and over the demon, Wrath comes down with a Crushing Slash, which caught the Mephisto off guard.

There was a moment of resistance before the demon found itself sliced in two, the two halves crumbling even as they fell to the ground. Standing from the crouch he'd landed in, Wrath sighed before placing Rage Bringer back on his back and continuing on with his search for Gorgon, crossing the walkway the direction he'd been walking before the demons ambushed him. He only hoped that one of them found the blasted demoness before the demons of Mundus' army did.

You know, it's theorized that Gildarts could have been strong enough to become a Wizard Saint, if not stronger. Kinda scares me knowing that Fairy Tail's packing so much power.

I've admittedly not done a ton of research on how testing is done. Ammy's kinda like a non-guild master ace in the hole who only uses magic at a strength of S class. Notice how I've had her avoid actually fighting yet? Well, that and I'm lazy and haven't typed up a ton of her spells. And by ton I mean any XD

You know, they may actually have been the replacement names for SS and SSS.

I can downgrade him, I mean it's just a subclass basically.
If memory serves SS was the one above S. Then there was SSS, which I'm fairly certain is more or less saint power (e.g. Gildarts, Laxus, Mystogan, Jellal, the actual wizard saints XD). I was more thinking along the lines of Mira/Erza strength anyway.
And the main thing which made him SS was the whole contract thing anyway, so maybe I should just reword it?
The whole point behind him is as a powerful mentor (e.g. Gildarts, Shanks) who disappears when he's needed most and turns up when it suits him XD

There's also X and Z, which Ammy from Dragon Fang is an X class.
