Current Sometimes you spend so long looking for peace in someone else, you loose sight of that peace you can give yourself. Don't forget that guys.

A question of Fast or Merciful

Wrath frowned that his opponent had managed to escape despite the rather decisive blow he'd landed and made one more note to get a weapon that handled armor better as well, but prioritized the ranged weapon over it for the time being. When the choice to choose between a fast and easy route or a slower and more dangerous route presented itself, Wrath frowned. On the one hand, it likely wouldn't take much to convince the villagers that standing between them and the Seal was a bad idea. However, the method of demonstration was what disagreed with the Nephilim. Of course, taking longer than they really needed to was a bad idea time wise because that bastard who'd busted up the second seal could show up any time he pleased and destroy this one as well.

Ultimately, when Wrath spoke, it was the path he felt was right. "I say we avoid the villages. We don't know enough about the locals to know if we can rough them up enough to stop resistance. And honestly, even with all of us, it would take just as long to work through the villages as to put down any of the abominations we might run into in other places. That said, the abominations would be a more fun fight anyways."
I apologize for the semi-later than promised post. I went to start on it last night and sorta fell asleep.
Corporal James Hunt|Battle for Vasel

@Everyone

James had been firing from behind a mailbox while Fairglaive, Colins, and Rousseau fired from their own pieces of cover. The Imps were in full retreat and if they didn't get shot from behind, the got shot in the face and chest when they turned around to try and provide cover fire of any kind for their retreating fellows. "Say hello to the Valkyrur for me you Imp bastards!" He had to duck a flurry of responding SMG fire, but the owner find himself choking on blood from a round fired by Colins. When Snider moved up beside them and offered to provide mobile cover, he waved his team over behind the tank and followed the tank to the intersection, continuing to fire when he could.

A few minutes later, the tank stopped at the intersection and all the soldiers now under James's command hurried to his position. Let's not get anyone killed, Hunt. All these soldiers are going to come home from today's battle. With a deep breath, he started lining out the idea he'd come up with once the Imperial tanks had gone down. "Snider, I want you to hold position for a bit and lay down some covering fire. And, in the process if you can, don't leave them any thing to hide behind. Jatmoore, flank left with your fire team, have Durandal drop lances on them with that mortar lance of hers until you find a spot that leaves them exposed to your fire. Charlie Section," he turns to the group that had come from the opposite side, "flank right, same idea, minus the lance. If you got grenades though, let the bastards have it. Once you two are in position, let me know. Snider, at that point we're going to move up the middle and close the Imps between all of us. Any objections?"
I went back to review my CS and realized I still have things about the Nightstalker to add. Shade Step is one of them, which is a roll, and gameplay wise, makes Hunters the only class that can do it, but lore wise, makes tracking a Hunter harder because they throw up a cloud of Void Light smoke and move in a direction the enemy can't see right away.

EDIT: I'm not going to use it now, but it should be noted for future gun aiming interactions.
Alright, fair enough. I mean, getting caught up in the moment isn't impossible, but I'll edit.
@Zarkun Would Gaige be pointing in the wrong direction when her ECHO tracks the position of nearby life forms on the HUD? Does your guy have some sort of cloaking or disruption?

If Smoke bomb were set for the cloak, then yeah. But no. The way it's written though, she's assuming that he didn't change trajectory when she fired. I can edit if needed.
@SukuI apologize. I messed up your mention in my actual post.
James Varrock,The Guardian|Hyrule Fields

"Guardian!" James grunted, already rolling to the left as she brought her shotgun to bear against him. Enough training matches in the Crucible had taught him that allowing anyone with a shotgun to get in a certain range would spell the end of the fight for him.

"I'm not blind, Ghost." The rounds hit the ground and...exploded? While it was odd, James had no time to consider the cause as the shotgun's owner came tumbling through the kicked up dust and the smoke and landed with her shotgun aiming where the Guardian had come to a stop as he brought up the Ace of Spades.

"You wanna try that again?! HUH?! YOU LIKE SHOOTING AT GIRLS THAT ARE JUST TRYING TO STOP PEOPLE FROM FREAKING OUT?! DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE GOD OF DAMAGE!" She would then find the barrel of his hand cannon level with her face and it could be presumed that his look was very unimpressed beneath his helmet.

"Nice name. But I can think of a dozen reasons your running down a young woman on a...Ghost, what is that thing?" His little crimson buddy floated around and scanned the still panicking animal and issued a surprised exclamation.

"Guardian, it's a horse! A genuine horse! This is remarkable, the Warlocks all thought the majority of native wildlife on Earth were wiped out during the Collapse! Oh, Ikora will want to see this!" While Ghost continued to get scans and likely file them away in his databanks, James continued on.

"Right, were was I? Oh right." His hammer clicked back. "I can think of a dozen reasons your running down another young woman on a horse would look bad, God of Damage. And as a Guardian, letting that happen just isn't something I can do." He glanced up and noted that a young girl with a rather large and unusual sword was approaching as was another person on a horse, this one looking more like one of the average citizens from around the Last City, albeit more...vintage. However, he remembered that this 'God of Damage' had been chasing the girl to try and calm her and he placed the hammer forward and spun the Ace of Spades before holstering it at his hip.

"I apologize for taking a warning shot since it seems to have disrupted your attempt to calm her. But next time, remember how things look to those who don't know. Now then, are we on Earth by chance? Maybe somewhere the Hive or the Fallen haven't turned into a part of their personal playgrounds if you have horses?" Ghost had since floated away from the horse back to James' side and phased back into where ever it was he stayed while James went about his daily business.
Speaking of moving forward, I should get something up today. The last few days have been busy for me.
Well, only the imps are dead.
