The Yamato cannon is mounted on the prow of Battle Cruisers. The cannon draws its immense power from the ship's core, and then generates a dense magnetic field to harness a controlled nuclear reaction, turning it into a concentrated energy blast that can destroy almost anything with a few shots, even enough to decimate cities. The cannon requires a huge energy reserve to fire, requiring its own conversion generator and a fire-control station manned by nearly 100 gunnery specialists. However, the effects make it worthwhile.

The cannon is suitable for "scorched earth" work.

@Zarkun Yeah the one I used is more inline with the OG - the iconic version - but like I said, has the upgraded weapons of all previous versions (minus Fusion).

My original intention was to find a nice render of her ship from the Metroid II reboot - Samus Returns. This is the OG design I was gunning for:

However, Im also considering on using her Prime 3 ship regardless, as it makes some sense continuity wise.

(Btw, I meant the pic from Sep's intro post - the one where you see all the different ships. Samus' Prime 3 ship can be seen in the front left portion, just covered in shadow).

Whoops XD. Only reason I said something was because I'm pretty sure the original design doesn't have room for heavier weapons like missiles.

This incarnation of the ship is supposed to be a unique version altogether - essentially whipping up her old design but with all the modern weaponry. I may consider switching to her Corruption ship though (I mean, if Im not mistaken, the RP picture does show Samus' Prime 3 ship on it anyways so who knows).

- Ammunition Microfactory: A small dimension utilized in the production of ammo for Samus' plasma cannon. Strangely it doesn't refill the ship's missile supplies, meaning that Samus would have to find suitable weaponry or modify existing missiles to refill her ship.
- Sophisticated Hologram Computer: Samus' gunship is built with a sophisticated computer which stores mission data.
- Hyperdrive: Allows Samus' ship to jump from one star system to the next in minutes.

History of the Ship:
As Samus Aran's most reliable companion when traveling across the stars, this unnamed Hunter-Class gunship has served the famed bounty hunter since the very beginning. From tracking down vile criminals to combating the vile space pirates, it's the perfect vessel for a bounty hunter to do her job. While this ship in particular is not the first of her kind that Samus flew - this being her fourth incarnation to be exact - her design remained largely the same throughout, being that the front looks much like the bounty hunter's own helmet. Each incarnation however had been upgraded significantly to prevent the ship from being neutralized once again from enemy forces (a fate befitted with two of her previous vessels), mostly in the form of additional weaponry, shielding, and other gadgets and add-ons.

As of her most recent mission prior to her finding herself in a galaxy far, far away, Samus had merged all of her weaponry and armor from previous models onto the same classic ship design, as well as adding a new ability to the ship - a cloaking device.

Just a side note, those missiles from Corruption aren't compatible with an older design of her ship. You'll need to use the one from Corruption design wise. She also designed that version herself, so she's pretty proud of it.

History of the Ship: The Resurgence has been the flagship of the Republic Remnant during its campaign to destroy any and all Imperial Remnants and reestablish the Republic. It has seen well over 200 engagements over the course of the Reclamation Campaign in it’s battlegroup with the Kenobi, and Fisto.
Notable Crew:Supreme Commander Jason Erthos-The primary leader of the Republic Remant, he leads their reclamation efforts against the Imperial Remnants and leads talks to convince the New Republic that the old system wasn’t entirely flawed, simply parts. He also leads the ground forces when needed.

CC-2174 “Hammer”-Commander Hammer was one of the first Clones to finish the accelerated growth process after Nama Le fled Tipoca City with a handful of like minded fellows and roughly 2,500 embryos twenty-three years after the end of the Clone Wars. He is considered to be the toughest of all his brothers and has aided in the training of subsequent generations of Clones and those who have been recruited from off world. He leads the 302nd Clone Legion of the Republic and is a stalwart believer that if any of his brothers still serve the Imperial remnants, they can be saved. That doesn’t, however, keep him from doing what he must.
