Just do it anyway. Find a map, throw it up, and lets get started. The alternative is to just give up and everyone go home. Which btw I guess if anyone wants more activity on their home forums let me or star know so we can put efforts there.

Here's a possibly fun concept for the new multiverse. You mention trains, so maybe one train has a dimensional incident that causes it to be stuck flowing through bizarre spacetime whatever land that causes multiple branches of reality on the train to occur. They almost all appear to lead to the train ripping apart and destroying the main world that our multiverse takes place on, but the people on board must find out a way to get one branch of reality to work out where the train goes back to normal space and they disembark onto the world with an awesome story to tell. This idea is inspired by an awesome anime called baccano where it largely takes place on a train and they keep repeating parts of the plot and revealing more of it from different character's perspectives every time. In our case some aspects get redoes as different reality versions of themselves take the lead to try and fix the doom of the previous one.

This plot could actually turn into a massive roleplay and different battles playing out by people on certain sides, as we know at least someone on board wants the train to dimensionally explode everything. They would also be talking, plotting, etc. without always having to physically fight. If a character dies then you don't need to worry because we can redo that plot point with the next dimension taking over, but all of this still matters because the characters are learning so it's not all for nothing. Plus we can all have a lot of characters. The train will be huge, with some cabins even having gardens and ballrooms and stuff.

I would throw up a new fight, but ill be in the moving process very soon, so it would be a bit foolish to get in the middle of one and not be able to post for like two weeks.

I think I'll have to force myself to do another character a day or else I'm too lazy to complete the sheets I'm wanting to...starting tomorrow! I must have one more procrastinating day before the horror shall commence. And then I can finally start some battles again.

Coming up with my wind magic character, wind sure seems op once you have enough power to lift yourself and create cyclones. Brings flashbacks of the tournament character who could fly out of range of melee and deflect projectiles as well. Only the problem is that's realistic. I can't imagine someone can shoot a bullet through a tornado and have it stay true, even if the size is smaller scale then normal tornados by a lot, like fitting within a hippo. You can still kill him with superpowers and dropping tanks on him, but it seems to eliminate no powered people from having a chance unless they catch him unawares or in a weakened state. This problem seems hard to solve unless he's just banned from tournaments where characters aren't expected to have the power to long range punch through tornados. I'd probably use other characters anyways.

I'm good at having character personalities screw themselves over so he could be arrogant and fly down to fight on the ground, but that hand wave could get annoying after a while.

How many characters do you actually have at the moment IN? I think one day I might challenge them all simultaneously with Fury just to see how many it takes to bring him down.

The thing is, wind characters are almost always badly balanced as well. I'm not a scientist, but I can only imagine the weight of the amount of air you're moving to create significant weather effects must be huge, therefore the energy required must be astronomical. Wind characters create great gusts like it's nothing because people forget that air does actually have mass and movement creates friction to be overcome.

Hell, check some of the figures for the kinetic energy of hurricanes out here http://www.aoml.noaa.gov/hrd/tcfaq/D7.html.

If water elementalists pulled in tsunamis left right and centre people would be pissed, but wind elementalists get away with the exact same thing because people don't get air or physics that well.

And they really need balancing, because you can't 'dodge' air the same way you can dodge water or rock or fire or something more visible.

There's a reason why my only "wind" character is a guy who manipulates dust storms.

Agreed. It also gets tricky depending on how the wind magic is accomplished which allows it, even in lower level tiers, to be nearly unbearably strong without falling into the 'this is super draining category'. There just... are methods. >.>

Around the 140 range have sheets posted to some extent. I likely have 20 or so ideas pretty fleshed out and supporting characters for various characters could come in. Also, don't know if I could count a bunch of Evvie clones as characters. Just dress one up in a weird hat and one with a different quirk and we have new characters to fight him. XD

Some of my characters are op so he'd have to only challenge all of my mid range or something. Need I remind you of some of my op characters? If we include them then we'd need a contrived reason how he can beat them, as just one of them alone would completely ruin his day.

I don't know if I can come up with proper balancing for him to be complete in this day so might move on to the next today. I guess he could just be strong enough to life his body weight at 80 miles per hour or so and not much more. That should allow bullets to get through? So for stronger wind he does it in bursts rather then sustained winds to allow flight. Actually this sounds good enough for me.

Wind is simple enough to balance the same way everything-else kinesis/mancy can be balanced. If the character is spending little effort to move air, then the amount of air they're moving isn't really sufficient to do much. Air does have mass, but it's the least massive classical element out there by several orders of magnitude. It takes a lot of g'damned air to match the inertia of something like a geokinetically-propelled boulder, or a chemically-propelled bit of metal. Or a body. The aerokinetimancer has to move the same weight of air as anyone else to have the same impact, and even then the force of his strikes are diffused across, generally, a huge area. He'd need space and warning to be able to move enough air long enough to destabilize bullet flight paths, and heavier or guided projectiles would be commensurately more difficult for the aerokinetimancer to stop.

This is, of course, assuming "control of air motion", and not stuff like hardened-air shields, blades of stiffened wind, or other stuff. At that point you're basically dealing with a funky telekinetic and need to approach both balancing and the fight completely differently, but hey. That's where the fun part is!

How muscle do you go? How freaky do you go? This is on a scale of 1 to Scott Steiner.
