Like affirmative commands? If so then it's just the Él/Ella/Usted form. And when it's negative, ar verbs to -es and -er/-ir verbs to -as.

I thought for usted and ustedes, it always converted to the switcheroo ending.

I am so bad at Spanish. I think I may have a deficiency in the language processor portion of my brain. Other than English, of course, since that's stored in a different location as my primary language.

I can understand it more than I can speak. It's pretty confusing, but it has it's uses.

Maybe that concern is why you are actually having trouble. Or at least part of it.
