Sounds interesting. I think that fighters like DJ maybe even LeeRoy may want to get in on this as fighters. This could provide some interesting build up to the fights.

Now finding opponents to work of the rust will be the next task. I suspect easier for you/Alphonse and for me.

If they want to they can. Usually cards like this have around 7-8 main card matches. For our purposes, they'll all be going on around the same time. But I'd like to start a thread for some build up, either OOC(general chat), IC for ICing posts or something, and CS for Interviews or something like that.

@MelonHead I was not aware its durability was that low, well if that is the case then the solar staff would be a much more fair weapon, given its strongest strike is a stun grenade level of force. The fire wouldn't be much help, if any, so that wouldn't give any significant advantage. So it would be a fight that came down to strategy more than anything then. I'd probably try to turn your weapons against you if I could figure a way to.

Also @Skallagrim. You are apparently the "Master Sensei" when it comes to learning to fight. So I would love to challenge you at some point, and see if I learn something.

I watch enough wrestling.

Let's decide how the IC will go. The CS can be used for the interviews and stuff, as breaks from the IC - as though we know we've been pegged for a fight. I'm thinking the IC can be the in character build up, the travel, the reasoning behind the fighting and stuff like that. I can run it like I did eFeds, just less episodic and whatnot.

Or does anyone else have a different idea?

@Crazy Scion I can fight you. as for how much you learn that is always debatable. People either learn or they don't all I do is fight them.

@Skallagrim Well I'd atleast like to know if I'm competent. Well if you do feel like fighting, then my fight with Barti is on hiatus until she returns. So we could start something if you felt up for it. I am not guaranteed to be on that long this afternoon, but I will be on tonight.

I was bored about three years ago, and joined ImportantNobody's assassin duel thread, where I got to fight two people and found it fun and interesting (I also did pretty well for a complete novice, which helps).


Assassins assassinating assassins? I never knew that was a start to your career.

I find it funny to see a character that has a host of hand to hand skills. Usually I’ll talk with the person and then we’ll agree to a realistic hand to hand spar. Once that happens usually the player either knows nothing, or very little about the particular combatives their character has.


That's basically me with my sword masters. I'm afraid of overdoing certain moves so I might underdo them instead just to be safe. Unless I can say stuff like, "they did an expert flurry of strikes" and not worry about the details. XD

Death by fire extinguisher


"My trump card! I shall extinguish your fire, cursed fire manipulator!" *bashes him on the head with the fire extinguisher, technically extinguishing his fire as he's knocked unconscious

allow the sword to pierce his body in a less vital spot, and took the swordsman by surprise by placing a hand on his face, setting him alight.


I can't help but feel like a similar tactic was used on Evvie to have the hand take the damage from the fire to smother her face. That was brilliant. I think that was one of my first fights with her. Maybe the second or something. I think the fight with the clockman came after.
