The anime is meh at worst and only good at best. But the card game is really fun.

Nice. If you still want to play it there are two online versions where you can use any legal cards (and illegal if you use all cards rule, and on one of them you can even use the anime versions of the cards) to play with.

I probably have more than 1000 but I've only actually played the game at 1 tourney and I wasn't very good. That was a few years ago though and the official online version I'm pretty damn good at, even though you get virtual packs instead of access to all cards. I used to collect them to play like a "pokemon video game but with cards" thing throughout my grandpa's place.

The Pokémon video games far surpassed the Yugioh ones. IMO, the original Yugioh anime and trading card game were the best.

I thought the Pokemon anime was good originally, but the Yugiyoh one was fantastic. They both started going to crap, but Yugiyoh got worse than Pokemon.
