Hello~

A couple of friends and I are working on a reboot of an old fantasy rp, Darkness & Light, about a demon Lord trying to conquer a human kingdom. :3

We need to get a few more players though, specially for the important roles in the story.

I am so interested in this! Read over your first post in the old thread and a few other posts. Are you still going to do similar postions? I'd love to fill the role of princess or like a hand maiden.

Yes, we'll keep the same positions. ^^ As for taking the princess, you might have to ask @ViolentViolet who had that position last time. Maybe they want to keep that character.

Well... I think it's supposed to be a full reboot, but I wanted to keep my character and maybe someone else wants to do that. So I'll ask Violet, the old GM, to update the list. ^^

Hmm... I haven't thought about that... Do you want to start from the beginning again or try to continue it where it was left?

I think a new thread would be more appropriate for the occasion, since we'll have a bunch of new members and such. I think it would be best for us to all talk about what we want to do with the plot. I don't know if I'll have the time to do everything by myself anymore.

Nice to see some fine new faces around here. I actually plan to remake the list of positions, but I'd like to keep my Princess around though I'm willing to leave a second spot open for another princess once we figure out how we want to route this. Of course, everyone that has an interest in being royalty is going to have to get together to talk about some stuff I had planned once.

Just curious, how strong do you see the PC's being?

I have a pretty fleshed out character that may fit, he is a very skilled combatant, and has quite the history that could be molded easily to fit this worlds story provided its sand-boxy enough.

I could see him being neutral, a mercenary for hire, and then the story would dictate which side he sticks with.

Similar character, but instead of being possessed he's made a deal with a Succubus - eternal youth in exchange for his soul when he dies.

Okay, yeah, I have an idea for two characters.
ShidenBlades' comment about mercenaries reminded me of a black knight-esque character I had in the past, though there may be a few things I should clear with the GM before really working on them. The second character kinda goes with the firat and if it falls through, I'd probably do something with centaurs, if they're a thing.

On that note, are races nailed down or open season? It's not for me, since 'centaur' is about as ambitious as I'd push for, but I figure it's worth clarifying.

The real GM is ViolentViolet so I think you should send them your characters for approval, though I don't mind if you post your them in this thread so White Feather and I can take a look too, since we're working on this together now.

As for races, pretty much everything is allowed. :3
