Also I want them to introduce a gift EevEe. Polteon. Gotten if the team faints while EevEe is holding the spell tag, the player is introduced to a evolution screen then prompted to switch move pools. Then you continue the battle with the ghost Eevee
Could draw my characters cosplaying as every Pokemon as part of a drawing exercise. My main one in the multiverse is probably forced to cosplay a lot as part of some part time job.
All of my characters can be adjusted to lower or higher tiers. I'm thinking that some good match-ups are...
"The Feral Abomination" Daxius 'Danger' Vinnerall Vs. The Magna Pater, "The Sleeper of the Clandestine"
"The Endless Monk" Xing Yi Vs. "The Lord of the Rising Sun" Gonad Yaksplitter
"The Crimson War-Princess" Rodetta The Red Vs. "Kentucky" Tom
"The Notorious Half-Elf" Halen Vayne-Claymore Vs. Zande Khanda "The Vulture"
Hahahah ive actually read Kentucky Tom's sheet, i laughed out loud 4 times.
I'm not fighting a monster, that takes magma pater out of the equation.
Which leaves Gonad and Zande, who both just seem like insanely tough tanks with tougher armor who keep coming forward regardless of injury unless you can kill them. I just don't think I have any characters that can put up with that level of physicality. Maybe Xing Yi but we would have to clear up a lot of specifics first.
Sorry if I sound like a bitch-ass N**ga, but I know youre a top ranked certified bad-ass and I dont want to walk into a one sided ass kicking if I can help it. Already had that from Rilla and Skalla in the past.
@Dynamo Frokane Perhaps Xing and Zande could have just an old fashioned peak human brawlfest, no armor or weapons, in the vein of Mortal Kombat. Zande is hyper aggressive and as brutal as it can get, but the only "style" he could be attributed to is
The dude can't tell Kung Fu from Kung Pao chicken, and knows exactly jack shit about traditional martial arts. I'm not going to sugarcoat anything or try to lure you in with false temptations of potential advantages that Xing might have over Zande (unlike certain other players might), given how Vale Tudo reigns supreme and gouging is arguably much closer to that than Kung Fu, and how Zande's specialty is mauling people up close. Regardless, this is about as fair as I can make things.
I actually prefer Unranked matches, by the way, as they are far more friendly and less prone to OOC crap. Combat flows so much more easily when there isn't anything on the line.

Well the reality of it is, when you shrug off all pain and don't recoil from any damage you take while being a super strong beserker, martial arts kind of go out of the window, especially when the opponent is unnarmed.
But Im not asking you to bend to my will, you challenged me, and I'm just letting you know why Im not able to take on the 4 youve put forward, No biggie.
@Dynamo Frokane Eh, you're right. All of my characters effectively function as the Monty Python Black Knight. Nothing short of a direct knockout blow would put Zande down.
"Tis only a flesh wound." -Every character I've ever made.
I'm looking for a fight. Character is as follows. No particular preference on setting or what type of opponent I'm looking for and even though I don't necessarily like death battles I wouldn't turn it away. Character is below. Just send me a PM.
ShinRa Employee File SREN: J3-G2K0-B7Z5 Birth Name: Sicanyee Danoonkarõ (Romanized) Code Name: Sky Dancer Race: Fairy, Fáwahnoon Height: 5'8 Weight: 185 lbs. Age: 75 Date of Birth: Unknown Town of Birth: Rõvunhoh Current Assignment: Melee Specialist, Shin-Ra Knights Experimental Division. Pay Grade: JE, Grade 5
Physical Description: Subject J3-G2K0-B7Z5, designation Sky, has an abnormal physical composition when compared to the humans who inhabit Neo Midgard. Simply put you can take everything about a normal human body and make it better in every way in order to achieve the same results. Sky has denser bones, stronger muscles, reinforced tissue, and a quicker mind. All of this appears natural to his race. After we subjected him to Mako treatment all of these qualities became reinforced while he showed extreme resiliency to the poisoning effect. Subject Sky has tan skin with soft, angled, features and a slender form. His hair is the color gold and curly while his eyes take on the color of sapphires. From his head sprout two miniature antlers, like you'd see on a buck, but each one has three points. From what he tells us his people grow new points every 25 years. The antlers themselves are roughly six inches long from the base of the forehead to the point and grow at an upward angle while they aren't even half an inch in diameter. Further testing showed that these small horns are as hard as diamond at stop on level with the top of the head.
Subject Sky seems to be in the early adult stage of his life, physically speaking, despite the fact he is so old.
Despite the regulation uniform he was given the Subject refuses to wear it unless absolutely necessary. He prefers light clothing, anything resembling linen or silk, under the reasoning that anything else feels too rough on his sense of touch. To this effect he wears a loose fitting pair of synthetic silk pants of a black color, a matching vest and what most would call thatch sandles upon his feet. He also carries around a six foot long spear. The shaft of said weapon is blue with a brown leather wrapping starting at the center of the shaft which goes down to the metal butt. The head of the spear is six inches long with a soft taper near the end of the shaft and is flanked by two curved points. Even though we've tried to call it a trident he has refuted and corrected us every time. The metal, harder than steel, is the color of bronze while the wooden shaft has a hardness equal to titanium.

Psychological Evaluation: Subject Sky shows an amazing resilience to the mind altering effects of the Mako exposure, whether the trait is genetic or trained remains a mystery. He tends to stay silent in most situations and doesn't speak unless spoken too directly. He's a very driven individual with a strong sense of duty. This, seemingly, self imposed sense of honor could lead to future impairment since he takes any request and seeks to fulfill it. He seems to suffer from a sort of social ineptitude despite not lacking any social graces. He's very headstrong and stubborn with a brilliant mind. He seems to have an odd trait that borders on Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in regards to clashing colors when it comes to design. Sky is also slow to anger, showing resilience to stimulus that would make normal people lash out. All of our tests are conclusive on the fact that he's a well maintained and put together individual.
As a side note Sky seems to have taken a liking to string instruments of all kinds and sounds associated with string instruments.
-Authorizing Psychologist: Dr. Yamamoto, SREN 66-66S6-8ISR6
Pre-Employment History: Subject Sky Dancer was originally from an unnamed realm that we later designated as F4-2693-G4H1, or F-H1. Sky called it Mohvunhohrõ. The realm itself is a vibrant world rich in resources. Of the two races found there Sky is from, what we've come to call, the Fairy Folk or Fae Folk. We first stumbled upon this realm and it's people at the beginning of our trials to find new realms. Sky was young at the time and the realm was under siege from an invading force. Neo Shinra and the KNIGHT project moved in and stopped the invasion, saving the village in which Sky was born in in the process. His parents were both warriors of their people, noble and honorable in equal measure. From what we were told he was raised to repay the debt they felt they owed us and when a local war was over he was sent to us for participation in the KNIGHT project. Further Information is Classified under article 6, subsection 3.
Employment Records: In order to see in what manner we should employ Subject J3-G2K0-B7Z5 went sent him on a variety of low tier, yet challenging, missions upon his arrival after his initial evaluation. The first was an escort mission that he was to do alone. Due to some faulty intelligence the subject was up against stronger odds than what were originally anticipated. Despite doing his best he lost the crew that was escorting the cargo. Despite this set back he fought on and got the package safely to its destination, when most others would have fallen back or died. The second mission that he was given was an assassination mission. The target was a rebel leader deep within a mountain range. Using the skills that he had and the spear that he wields he managed to track down the rebel leader, bypass the soldiers in the camp, and remove the target. His third mission was to be bodyguard to a budding engineer who was heading to a different realm to install some equipment. When problems arose with the local the subject showed decent negotiating skills, allowing the engineer to complete the mission and get out safely.
The only mission that he failed was a mission specifically tailored for data specialists and hackers. Due to his up bringing he lacked the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve the information.
Subject J3-G2K0-B7Z5, designation sky, was one of the few non-human participants we had that went through the KNIGHT program and survived. He is a curious case that blends otherworldly talent and ability with ShinRa technology, intelligence and reinforcement. He's been designed and trained to be a front line soldier, defacto leader when superiors are not present, and executioner should the necessity arise. He has shown exceptional and otherworldly abilities which will be listed below.
SOLDIER Training: Upon his inclusion into the KNIGHT program Sky has been given all the required training in order to be inducted into the ranks of KNIGHT. He has picked up on the various skills and techniques rather quickly and has been able to employ them in an exceptional manner. His races teachings coupled with the SOLDIER training have shaped him into a capable KNIGHT operative.
Longevity: Skys people seem to possess some type of extended life span, they simply aren't effected by time like humans are. The oldest living members of his people are said to be hundreds of years old although there are no accounts of anyone his kind living beyond a thousand years. They are not immortal, they eventually grow old and die. A very interesting trait that we may be able to harness from him should the opportunity arise.
Energy Usage: One of Sky's more unique traits is the ability to generate and manipulate his spiritual energy in a variety of ways. He has demonstrated the use of it in offensive and defensive applications. This energy seems to have uses as a utility skill as well, providing him with a wide array of methods to deal with different situations. Whenever he summons it we find that it has a white coloration and glows with a radiant hue. Its destructive capability in on par with some of our most dangerous equipment.
Offensive examples: Hardening spiritual energy into various forms. Use his energy in the form of blasts and waves. Infusing it into his weapon in order to increase its lethality. etc. Defensive examples: Reinforcing his body to increase durability. Infuse his body with spiritual energy to make it resistant to spiritual attack and influence. Infuse the energy into his weapons and armor to increase durability and resistance. Generate semi-physical shields. etc. Utility examples: Create a light source. Spiritual marking for tracking purposes. Healing (outside of combat unless given ample opportunity). Displacement within his surroundings to assist in sensory functions. etc.
Mako Infusion: Perhaps more than other candidates Sky shows great improvement through the use of Mako. Despite being dosed with it in drastic amounts his body seems to resist the poisoning effect while his mind shows no signs of disruption. Due to this we have been able to give him a much stronger dose than normal. This amplified his already considerable physical abilities and caused him effectiveness to skyrocket when it came to field assignments. He can lift many times his own weight, move in a blur without assistance and withstand punishment that'd render most dead.
Resistance: The subject shows a hardy resistance to invading toxins, pathogens and forces of all kinds. Whether it is an act of his body fighting off whatever malady seems to be effecting him or his spirit and will staving off mental disorders there is no denying that Sky is a hardy individual. We have yet to test how far this goes due to the fact we don't want to tax him too much and lose such a great asset.
Heightened Senses: A trait that his kind seem to possess from birth. All of his physical and non-physical senses are heightened to the point that they are five times better than that of a human, which seems to be unaffected by the Mako enhancement. It puts his senses on par with that of a cat which allows him to define specific smells in an odor, hear on multiple frequency levels and in far off distances and accomplish a great many other things. He also shows incredibly sensory processing ability, which allows him incredible reaction time and prevents him from being overwhelmed by his heightened senses.
Spacial Awareness: Through the use of his heightened physical senses, his spiritual ability and an apparent heightened state of thinking Sky has shown a remarkable awareness to his surroundings. Upon testing he has shown the ability to detect and locate inanimate objects while blindfolded and even react to unseen and cloaked threats when attacked. We have yet to find the range limit of his perceptions but following the theme with his senses he suspect he can perceive five times further than a human in all directions.
Magical Ability: As is apparently common with his people he shows some aptitude with what he calls magic. Without the use of materia he can conjure up effects similar to what we would use technology and Mako to achieve. It seems that his spiritual energy acts as a medium for which spells are cast, instead of what we would commonly refer to as Mana. Most of this ability seems to go into maintaining an extra-dimensional space where he can store and summon armor from.
Much like you'd see from a spellcaster. Think. Wizard or Sorcerer from D&D. Due to the fact that a majority of his magical ability is going into sustaining an extra-dimensional space transmutative, elemental, evocative, and other such spells from various magical schools are in a lower tier.
Zephyr Materia: This is probably one of the most curious developments that we've had since his arrival. Sky, or rather his energy, has shown the ability to convert other materia into a new type of materia. Sky calls it Zephyr materia and it seems to have a pale green coloration. When used it seems the materia grants Sky incredible speed. What's more this speed seems to allow Sky to operate outside the laws of physics. He experiences no momentum change, no friction, g-force or anything associated with increased speed. This new materia seems to only be usable by Sky. When a Zephyr materia is put in the hands of someone else it reverts to its original, unaltered, state. (3 Post duration. 2 Post cooldown)
Limit Break: This would have to be the second most curious oddity that we've found in our trials with Sky. The Limit Break is a powerful, limited use, ability that is built up within the fighter the longer they fight. The pressure of battle culminates into a single use ability that has devastating and drastic effects. In Skys case he seems to have three tiers to his limit break, each one exponentially stronger than the previous. The three tiers have been dubbed Heavenly Spear, Ascension, and Rain of Retribution. We believe this comes from the bloodline of the Fae Folk and his spiritual usage. He passive generates his Limit Break but upon its use the 'pressure' required for its use is reset.
Heavenly Spear: Tier One of Skys special Limit Break. He starts from his location and dashes straight through his opponent, slicing through them with a spectral spear. He plants it at the ending point behind his target and dashes back through, he then instantly switches locations and repeats the process so that the line of the path intersects with the previous one. We find each point to be at a cardinal point. The power spikes and then a ray of energy in the shape of a spear strikes down from above and deals incredible damage, he's shown to be able to slice armored targets in half. (Undergoing potential rework. Won't be used until a decision is made)
Ascension:Tier Two of Skys special Limit Break seems to be an exponential buff to his own abilities. His spiritual energy forms around him in the shape of a Dragon-type humanoid complete with claws, wings, tail and fire breath. His already incredible physical capabilities grow exponentially and he gains a few new ranged abilities. Able to project spiritual fire long distances, cast unique spells and generate unique effects. We have not been able to see the full effectiveness of this Tier.
Rain of Retribution: Tier Three is the most deadly of all. Upon the execution of this level of the limit break volleys upon volleys of spectral spears fall from the sky and stick into the area point first. Sky moves from spear to spear and dashes toward his target at high speeds, slow motion tracking show blurs and scans reveal incredible energy output. After using every spear available to attack his opponent the ground erupts in lag time from the high speed motion and power of the technique. This Tier of the Limit Break shows signs of approaching City levels of destruction in terms of power, for this reason Sky is to be monitored at all times.
Registered Equipment:
Galéda: The name of the Spear that Sky wields. It is six foot long with a blue shaft, leather wrapping starts at the middle of the shaft and weaves its way down to the butt in a cross pattern. The grip is black and the shaft is blue. The wood that the shaft is constructed out of seems to hold a toughness almost equal to that of titanium. The head and the butt, although bronze in color, are harder than steel but seem to be less durable than the shaft itself. When asked about this quality Sky said "The shaft is the soul of the spear, so it should be the hardest part. A strong soul strengthens the rest of the body." The head of the weapon has a single, six inch, spear head that is flanked on both sides by curved blades. Despite trying to call it a trident Sky corrects us at every opportunity. The spear seems capable of holding Materia and, to this end, it has been fitted with six Zephyr materia. Three in the shaft, one in the butt and 2 in the head.
(Credit to the artist.)
Légahohvun: The only piece of armor that Sky has been shown to wear. He shows the ability to summon it from the extra dimensional space his magical ability maintains. Its a simple suit of armor that combines hardened leather and metal. It has a helmet, greaves, forearm guards, gauntlets, boots, leggings and a chest piece. The helmet covers most of the face with central piece coming down over the nose, it's bronze in color and has holes for his antlers. The greaves, Forearm Guards, boots are all made of a hardened leather and are rimmed in the same bronze colored armor. The Gauntlets cover the hands and attach to the forearm guards, made of the same bronze metal that covers his head. The chest piece and leggins are made out of the hardened leather, covering all vital areas but the chest guard lacks sleeves while the leggings stop at the knees. The hardened leather is black in color and apparently holds increadibly durability. Each piece of armor seems to be able to hold at least one materia, so at Skys request we've added one Zephyr Materia into each piece of armor. (OOC Note: Think Spartan style of Armor.)
I'm going to be catching up on all of my roleplays tonight, as well as updating the list of locations for the roleplay. I'll start up a few threads since it can't all be in one location.
@Everett how does sky's limit breaks work? Because they cant be auto hitting, if the first part the attack misses or is blocked, what happens to the rest of the sequence?
Name: Gonad Yaksplitter Title: The Lord of the Rising Sun Age: 34 Height: 7'2" Weight: 499 pounds Boxing Reach: 92" Shoe Size: 24 Race: Human Class: Warrior Alignment: Chaotic Good Eye Color: Hazel
Weapons and Equipment- His body, occasionally a set of thick six-kilo runite (a foreign metal of nigh-indestructible toughness) bracers and a pair of dragon gauntlets (a metal that is a tier above runite, also almost indestructible). He often wears the "Tzhaar-Kal-Ket", an incredibly rare and magical cloak bestowed upon those few in history who have triumphed over the brutal challenges of a powerful volcano-dwelling race. It is impervious to heat and cold, and incredibly durable to boot. He also keeps an enchanted "Inoculation Brace" on his ankle, a magical trinket which renders him immune to harmful toxins.
(Gonad with his bracers)
Appearance- Silhouetted against the burning passions of war, a figure stands tall, unmoving. His physique is as definitive as the gory victory with which his gruesome hands secure. Woven into his beard is a tapestry of blood, proclaiming the legendary tales of the countless scars adorning the sacred weapon, known as Gonad. For weapon he is, heated and hammered in the unquenchable fires of battle.
Pure unadulterated muscle. Lean muscle that ripples under his flesh like the waves of the ocean. He has muscles on his muscles. Feet Muscles. Finger muscles. Muscles in places that muscles should not be. A grisly body resembling tanned granite that might as well have been chiseled by the gods. Bulging veins, thick and course. Tendons like steel cords. Fingers like blunt iron rods. Long, sinewy limbs crafted for naught but the deliverance of phenomenal destruction. His enormous yet supple frame moves with a primal grace, the likes of which are comparable only to the untamed beasts of the wild.
His body is riddled with the innumerable wounds left by his combative livelihood. There are hundreds upon hundreds. Where the scars do not cover his body, coarse manly hair, thick and strong like steel wool, does. He boasts a great dark gray beard speckled with the blood and bone flakes of his foes, flowing down his freakishly striated chest in thick, oily waves reminiscent of the River Styx. From it emanates the very stench of death and graverot, every bit as inescapable as his piercing glare. Within his single eye resides an undying flame, sizzling hotter than the arse-winds of Satan himself.
Personality- What attributes the primal organism known as "Gonad" bears are no different than the attributes of mother nature herself. Blood-tinged Westerlies carving jagged sluices along the tepid surface of a great and mysterious ocean, whose calm demeanor belies a vast and terrible capability. The wisdom of towering snow-capped mountains, whose interminable experience has been honed over countless millennia of wear and tear. The trepid balance between predator and prey, animal and man, intermingling to form a singular amalgamation of virile life. And yet, he maintains a feature apart from nature. Self-awareness. He lives only for pushing the boundaries of human strength and spirit, forcing himself beyond the utmost limit in extreme combat. He fears not death, nor pain, nor loss, for it is from these things that the vigor and strength of true manhood and honor spring. He revels in the pain, luxuriates in death, and basks in loss. He never will engage in dishonorable practices such as deception, and will not tolerate an unfair fight. Though he may oftentimes appear a comical fool, Gonad is truly just a simple man who very rarely premeditates an action, instead acting from the heart and without hesitation, following only the voice of his soul.
Abilities/Skills- Revered by many as the greatest warrior to have ever lived, Gonad boasts tremendous dynamic and static strength and is capable of overpowering virtually any foe near his size. Above all else the strength in his hands is legendary, and so far no foe, living or dead, has succeeded in breaking his grip. He fights through experience and instinct, capable of reacting to attacks through muscle memory before he consciously registers them. Gonad is the supreme master of his own body, and can control its functions at will. He can use the full potential of his latent strength, constrict blood vessels to keep from losing fluids, and transmit senses other than sight through his visual cortex along with a plethora of other abilities. He is capable of touching and harming incorporeal or transdimensional entities by virtue of being too ignorant to know that he shouldn't. He witholds a vast array of rare and lethal wisdom and is said to know of over one-thousand ways to kill with his bare hands. Pain means nothing to him, and he can fight through most non-lethal injuries. He is also imbued with a form of spiritual energy known as the Beardforce. It allows him to scale in physical might that his capabilities may be matched evenly in comparison to those of any foe significantly more powerful than him. Gonad's unarmed strikes are of the highest caliber, and taking into consideration the formidable equalization of the Beardforce, this means no foe in this realm or any other can easily withstand even one direct hit, much like how no human mortal may fairly survive a sword through the torso or a mace to the skull. The opposite stands true, however, as Gonad himself wears little armor and will never be more durable than any superhuman foe he faces. Gonad is a grandmaster of the berserker arts and has an effectively limitless tolerance for pain. He can utilize three different forms of the technique, each one fiercer than the last. These three modes are Semi Berserk, Fully Berserk, and the preeminent Primal State. At his peak, he can generate such strength that his own muscles can tear themselves from his bones. When combined with the ability to create self induced hyposthenia within his body, bringing his muscles to the ultimate point of relaxation, Gonad can then contract them with the greatest amount of force that is physically possible. At the cost of having his very bones shatter from the overwhelming might of his own blows, Gonad can unleash attacks of such immensity that any entity on the receiving end of a direct hit gains an immediate and intimate understanding of what it feels like to be the fetus in a Mexican abortion.
Background- They say when the Barbarian called Gonad Yaksplitter was born, he came into this world bearing a full and mighty beard and had the equivalent muscles of a shaved adult yak. He was born on the battlefield, his infantile but well defined body gushing forth from the womb of his mother and landing in a puddle of blood that had been pooling from the corpse of a nearby enemy. It was in this way that Gonad had first been christened with the blood of his enemies. His mother, Chukka, had broken both legs in the battle and only she and her newborn son had survived the disastrous conflict. It had been a Barbarian war party, sent out from Gonad's home village which lay fifty-five miles East.
Chukka was forced to crawl back using her hands and teeth, bearing Gonad on her back. Only by sustaining young Gonad with the meat of her placenta and the warm milk from her breasts was she able to keep him nourished during the arduous trip back. Using the prodigious length of young Gonad's beard, she was able to fashion a makeshift diaper to keep him from soiling her back. After two months, they managed to return to the village, much to the great joy of Chief Jarvi. Upon being shocked at the sight of Gonad's beard-diaper being removed, he promptly named muscular Gonad after his hefty namesake, and renamed their village after the miracle child. For many ages the Village of Gonad has been renowned for its strength, most often migrating around in the deep Wilderness. Gonad's birth was the very culmination of generations of hard-earned might, his destiny pre-determined by the selective breeding of his ancestors. Their intent? To create the ultimate physical human. And so they did.
Since before he could walk, Gonad was made to train in the berserker arts with a relentless fervor that surpassed common sense. Nearly every minute of every hour of every day of his life he endured the most excruciating physical and mental training imaginable, his talent for unarmed combat pushed well beyond the boundaries of reason. He bears as many scars from his training as he does from battle. Gonad has participated in thousands of individual fights, ranging from one on one bouts to full scale wars, and from his experience has even created his own fighting style, which he dubbed "Hefty Fist".
As weakness had been beaten out of him at birth, it was not long before he became so well associated with hardship and pain that both feelings became an integral part of his personality. He enjoys agony and difficulty, and carries upon his shoulders the full weight of his village's pride and future. To Gonad, shame and fear are emotions that no longer exist. With adversity drilled into the very core of his being through unimaginable effort he shaped his mind into an unbreechable iron hull filled with undepletable reserves of determination. Though not by any means distanced from other negative emotions, he still bears them with neither complaint nor angst and has never allowed himself to feel regret. Gonad now travels the land endlessly, seeking nothing more than worthy opponents to fight. He lives only for pushing the boundaries of human strength and spirit, pushing himself beyond the utmost limit in extreme combat. He fears not death, nor pain, nor loss, for it is from these things that the vigor and strength of true manhood and honor spring. He revels in the pain, luxuriates in death, and basks in loss. To fight for honor, the honor of both himself, and for the honor of those who are unable to defend themselves against the dishonorable. He has seen countless wars, killed countless enemies, made countless friends. To recount the barbarian's many adventures would be an exercise in futility, for the blood wrought odyssey of Gonad transcends time and experience.
Trivia-
◾Gonad rarely calls people by their actual names, often using their physical appearance to give them a nickname such as Hood Man, Fancy Pants Lady, Pale Man, and Funny Beard. Those who have earned his utmost respect, however, are called by their true name.
◾Gonad's body is so well trained, that with muscle memory he performs isometrics in his sleep.
◾Gonad is almost entirely incapable of learning and/or doing anything that isn't related to combat, training, hunting, and women, the subjects in which he holds enough virtuistic ability to philosophize about. It took him two weeks to learn how to first use a doorknob, and he still hasn't learned how to read even a single word. He is utterly useless outside of his few areas of expertise.
◾Gonad is ambidextrous
◾Gonad's nose has been broken so many times, that all of the cartilage in it has deteriorated. He can push it completely flat against his face. He also has four false teeth crafted from ivory.
◾Gonad rarely travels via boat or ship, opting instead to swim across great bodies of water.
Theme Music-
Name: The Magna Pater
Aliases: Salmu Pulhu (Sumerian), Shasheuss-Throth (De Vermis Mysteriis), The Sleeper of the Clandestine
Gender: Male
Species: Elder Horror, Primeval Vampire
Lifespan: As long as it can continue drinking blood. It doesn't age when it sleeps for years in-between large meals.
Age: 2,047
Appearance: A piebald monstrosity with slime slicked flesh and no hind legs. Its only limbs are two long, winged arms and a powerful tail. It has four claws on each forepaw, with the middle one being eight inches long and capable of slicing through muscle like tissue paper. The beast's head is mostly a dripping maw with oily, unseeing eyes on top, accentuated by long, crinkle cut ears. It has a sharp, hollow tongue which can extend three feet from its mouth and act as a siphon to suck in blood. From snout to tail base, it is over eight feet long. The tail is fourteen feet. It weighs in at about two-hundred and ninety-five kilos, as much as a Siberian tiger.
Abilities
~Limited flight. Due to its wingspan and body weight, it can only fly for a maximum distance of ninety meters and remain aloft for little more than a half minute.
~Ectothermic: It's body temperature adjusts to match its surroundings. It can withstand the hottest or coldest environments.
~Tremendous strength, speed, and agility, the likes of which dominate the animal kingdom.
~Keen hearing and sonar. It's echolocation has a maximum distance of 6,700 meters and can detect objects moving at half the speed of sound. Its hearing is so good it can locate a victim even through miles of dense forest and with its back turned. Anything faster than its echolocation it can sense almost instantly via air pressure gradient.
~Stealth: It can use its sonar to confuse any enemy that might be able to hear the minute sounds it makes when sneaking, and is immune to any magical or supernatural detection that doesn't naturally or scientifically originate within the five known senses. That is to say, it cannot be located via any sixth sense. It is, however, unable to change color or camouflage itself, and as such rarely stalks during the day. One with sharp eyes or a sharper wit might be capable of finding it.
~Heat pits: Can detect the heat of organisms.
~Tongue: Can draw in blood through a wound like a vaccuum. It can also squirt or spray blood and bile. The bile is not highly acidic.
~Natural weapons: Its teeth and claws are composed of a complex chitin and protein polymer, harder and sharper than a Humboldt squid's beak, which can pierce modern body armor. The Magna Pater's bite force is superior to what a Nile crocodile can exert. Its tail has nearly 90,000 muscles, flexible enough to delicately pick up small pebbles, and strong enough to accelerate to whip-like striking speeds or strangle large animals.
~Can squeeze into any opening that it can fit its head through.
~Capable of entering a state of metabolic stasis which can last for decades. It retains spatial awareness during this "hibernation" and can awaken at will.
~Sense of smell: It can track down others thousands of kilometers away just by smelling them on the clothing of its prey.
~Intelligence: Is far more clever that it looks. It has nearly two millennia of experience as a highly prolific interdimensional serial killer, can grasp (but not speak) all languages, and never makes the same mistake twice.
~Can quickly regenerate from wounds by consuming blood and flesh. The amount of mass healed is proportionate to how much is consumed, I.E one pound of food to replace one pound of damaged tissue. It can selectively heal different parts of its body.
~The membrane of its wings is tougher than Kevlar, and can easily stop bullets of the highest caliber.
~Its body mucous and saliva contains anticoagulant, cytotoxic, and bufotoxic properties. Those whom it bites or claws will suffer gradual necrosis, unstoppable bleeding, and fast-acting, nightmarish hallucinations. The speed at which the bufotoxins take effect depends on how close the wound is to the head, ranging from several minutes to several seconds. It is immune to its own toxins. The viscosity of the mucous can be regulated, allowing the Magna Pater to be extremely slippery or adhesive. The mucous functions also to mask its scent. It can convert and excrete up to twenty percent of its body weight in mucous. It becomes significantly faster when empty, and can regain the weight by eating.
~The Alpha:
Though it would never allow its young to live unless driven to desperation by an immense threat to its existence, for it is a selfish thing that dislikes sharing its hunting grounds, it is able to impose its will upon its brood of lesser vampires via shared split-consciousness. By forcefully breeding with another organism, it can produce in one month a litter of four juveniles. The juveniles mature after a single month and become fully capable of killing and breeding, weighing at that time around 100 kilos each. The brood will never grow to more than 200 kilos. Each one can have a litter of four young, and can breed with as many victims as are available. Any sort of living organism that weighs at least seventy pounds, male or female, can be impregnated. At such a rate the number of mature brood would grow exponentially as follows, assuming the lowest estimate of each one breeding a single time per month.
Month One- The Magna Pater breeds and the young emerge.
Month Two- Five mature brood counting the Magna Pater.
Month Four- Twenty brood.
Month Six- Eighty Brood.
Month Eight- 320 brood.
Month Ten- 1,280 brood.
Year One- 5,120 brood.
Year Two- 26,214,400 brood.
Year Three- Planetary Extinction.
~Malocchio:
It may use its "true eyes" by shutting down its other senses. Before it uses the Malocchio, the intended victim(s) will have a brief premonition of the danger to come. Those who see the true eyes will, each time they go to sleep, enter a trance and begin moving in the direction of the Magna Pater, wherever it may be. They will awaken at the time they normally would, such as a few minutes for a nap and several hours for deep sleep. It also allows the Magna Later to see through the eyes of its prey at any and all times, even at the same time if there are multiple victims. By using the Malocchio on one who is already cursed, the victim's sight will be replaced with that of the Magna Pater's until it deactivates its eyes.
It is a passive curse that has no immediate negative effects unless the victim is entirely under the influence of the Magna Pater's hallucinogens, in which case the victim will immediately lose their mind from fright. If the bufotoxins haven't taken full effect then the victim will feel an intense fear which escalates in accordance to the strength of the already terrifying hallucinations.
Looking into its "true eyes" for too long can result in the victim's body becoming riddled with cancer at a later period in time, I.E developing prostate and skin cancer two years after the encounter. It takes roughly seven seconds of eye-to-eye contact (does not have to be constant) before the dormant cancer cells begin taking root. The Magna Pater can only keep the Malocchio active for at most sixteen seconds, and cannot use it again until the same amount of time has passed. As an example, if it only uses it for ten seconds and then deactivates, then it must rest its eyes for ten seconds.
~Those that are consumed by the Magna Pater whilst cursed by the Malocchio have their consciousness eternally bound to their physical state of matter. They gain a horrific form of immortality, doomed to live on forever in boundless agony as inert particles bequeathed unto the earth, lost to time and memory beneath the weight of the ages.
(A lesser, juvenile vampire)
Behavior: The Magna Pater is what one would first think of when the word "monster" comes to you in the dead of night. It may be called if one completes a forbidden ritual detailed within the ancient tome of black magic known as De Vermis Mysteriis, but nary a being would consider doing such an obscene thing. It makes no noise, has no mercy, cannot be reasoned with, and lives only to drain the blood and devour the flesh of all living things it can bind within its greasy wings. It enjoys all manner of prey and is especially inclined to go out of its way to find toddlers and infants, but it is shy and despises the light. It prefers to remain in damp pitch-blackness, where no eyes can spy it and no light can fall upon it. When outside of its primary lair it lurks around graveyards, occasionally squirming through the wormy soil to feast upon the dead and decaying when no live meat is available.
("The dark side of life, and the horror of it, belonged to a world that lay remote from his own select little atmosphere of books and dreamings.")
It will frequently impregnate victims with its brood, keeping them alive until its malformed young are birthed. It will eat both the victim and the young, doing these things not for food but to purposefully inflict prolonged torment. The few who come into contact with it and live may never be the same as they had been before, for above all else it is a creature of persistence. Even if one leaves the Magna Pater, it will never leave them. A variety of lifelong physical complications and psychological ailments can stem from a meeting with it and it never stops pursuing its prey, even if they move far away. It will also track down any living thing that leaves its scent on a victim. This leads to the Magna Pater consuming the families of those it hunts, along with anyone those families had come into recent physical contact with. Though one may travel often and abroad, once the Magna Pater has chosen a victim their fate is inevitable. It could take days, weeks, months, even years, but eventually on some cold and moonless evening one will awaken to see a sticky face with dead eyes peering through their bedroom window.

History:
Once in a millennium is a creature born, a living horror known as the "Magna Pater". The progenitor of monsters, the true genesis, the harbinger of loss, ancient and terrible. Only one has ever lived at a time, for it is greedy and does not abide its own kind, but always has one lived. It is the alpha of its virtually nonexistent subspecies, devouring its own normal young at birth. Only when the lone alpha dies is a new one conceived. It travels far and with little preference, drawn to whatever realm has foolishly called it via black magic. Its race has seen and ended more civilizations than there are stars in the sky. In Sumeria it was worshipped as a cruel deity to which countless sacrifices were made. In this lifetime does a special one exist, the most dreadful of its kind to have ever been. Even the most vile of devils would balk at associating with it. Like each Magna Pater before it, it wields the unique capacity to share the sight and manipulate the will of its subspecies, an apocalyptic abnormality which it very rarely abuses. It treasures the world, but only for the sadistic pleasures it can derive from bringing pain and grief to other living things.
Though it lingers not permanently on this planet, it is anchored here during times of inactivity. It haunts the secret places deep below ground, amidst a lichen hellscape of death and graverot. It slumbers upon a towering mountain of soggy bones, the bones of children, reigning over its decaying empire on a haphazard throne several thousand lives thick. Those who enter this wretched domain, where the blue sky transitions into a black void, do so at the risk of becoming yet another skeleton upon which the Magna Pater may sleep, with their loved ones soon joining them.
@Dynamo Frokane Whether it hit or misses the Limit Break will still run its course once it's activated. Hitting or missing dictates whether it does damage or not. Nothing about the Limit Break in the profile is an auto-hit nor does it give any inclination of such a thing. All of the descriptions in the profile merely describe how the ability plays out and what kind of damage it can do. Any other questions?
Starting the GCL's pre-season tomorrow. I can feel it. The impending torrential downpour of "what the fuck am I reading?" that comes every time I grade profiles for an event. You always get a solid 1/4th of the entrants who haven't read the rules/regulations and enter shit that's completely off the wall.
Hey everyone. Looking for a match. First time to this arena, but not unfamiliar with the style. A bit rusty, haven't been around for a couple of years. Tryna get back into it with some casual matches, maybe in PM?. If not that's fine too. MP would be preferred. If anyone is interested at all pm or replyyy.
Having contemplated this for a while and experienced the subject matter firsthand (courtesy of MelonHead), i'd like to ask all you folks (and i might as well pose the same question at the GCL while i'm at it) whether you agree or disagree with me that offense in a roleplay melee is harder to execute properly than a defense?
To expand on it, here's my main argument: in most cases, you aren't going to be hitting your opponent unless they make a mistake and set up a situation that allows you to capitalize on that; and who is at a greater risk of making that very mistake - the attacker or the defender? If you go in first and your opponent is an experienced fighter who knows how to defend properly, chances are, the scales are going to tip in their favor, not yours; you open yourself up to a counter and commit yourself to an action, while they have the choice, whether to counter or not.
In real life, there's such a factor as pressure: the attacker may lock their opponent down and force them to panic, eventually failing to defend and attack and getting hit. But what is the equivalent of that in a roleplay fight? How can you seize the initiative as the attacking side when going up against a fighter of equal skill?
I do have a few ideas myself, but they're still quite vague, and while i will give it a bit more thought, i'd also be glad to see someone else contribute to the topic.
EDIT: i am also going to sleep right now, so expect no replies from me personally until morning. :P
Have you never seen any of my matches? Playing defensively is safer, but infinitely less satisfying and in my opinion, more difficult if the attacker knows what they're doing. If you attack relentlessly enough, you can punish an opponent for every single move they make, or even cow them into being too afraid to hit back.
Thing is, if you attack with enough power, they will need to defend and you'll be able to predict that, and follow up with yet another assault that threatens to compromise their counter, ad infinitum.
Here's some links to my past fights, so you can study up for your upcoming match against me in the tournament, and get real friendly with how an aggressive style works successfully.
