MR DX is post-Torn/mid-In the Footsteps DX. DX lost his arm early on in Torn and later grew it back when he basically beat the shit out of the Satan Reaper. Losing his arm is actually a trope to me because it happens like... 17 times throughout what I've thought up of Torn.
