@FantasyChic Oh I know, was just clarifying for future reference so it wouldn't be an issue later on since it seemed like the understanding of the skills was a bit muddled. So better to clarify it before it actually comes up in ooc. And thankies. Didn't think Gene would just blow of the captain in that condition.

@Lady Amalthea She wouldn't, I probably read it and was like "Oh..huh.." and then saw something shiny IRL and forgot. So I will post when I can, I can probably edit it now, actually, before I go to work

This is awkward...I have two characters I am interacting with want nothing to do with me. When I made Gene I was sort of expecting her to be one of the most liked on the ship. Doesn't seem to be the case thus far.

@FantasyChic I think you have to take into account the situation and the two you are dealing with, as well as their relations with others and your character. I don't think it has anything to do with the character being liked or disliked. You just happen to be dealing with an army doctor who is trying to save the captain's life, so she isn't worried about bedside manner right now. And then there is Lionel who is older, with a wrenched back, and not the most easy to get along with anyways.

@FantasyChic Basically what Lady A said. :) Dorothy was designed to be a sort of a hybrid of John Watson in BBC Sherlock and Bones from Star Trek. And given that she knows Gene doesn't have any formal medical training, she doesn't want anyone under foot. Too many cooks spoil the broth and whatnot.

Edit: Oh, and Gene's first comment brought drama into the med bay, something Dorothy cannot stand while she's trying to save a life. She doesn't like it when people are in the med bay when she's working lol

Okay, it has been one hell of a week for a high percentage of Rpers - School, work, family stuff, computers dying, internet going down, flu season is setting in, and more. So right now I am instituting a rare counter reset for all my Rps. Never done this before actually but I feel you all need a little wiggle room. (Please don't abuse it or make me regret it.)

All counters are reset as of this post.

Now that doesn't mean if you can post to hold until the last minute, it just means you don't have to worry as much if you have been running behind.

If you are waiting for someone to post - from here on out please tag them in OOC so they are aware. Please don't assume they know you are holding.

Okies, remember the counter was reset - it is currently sitting on day 4 - that means those of you that have not posted since the rest are on day 4 of your counter of 7. Every time I get an idea to post, someone goes and changes it in their post and I am left with coming up with a new idea. Not blaming anyone and I am not angry, just frustrated that this keeps happening in this game primarily. I don't know what I'm going to post next, but I'll come up with something in the next few days.
